United States Whimps Out Over Striking Iran
Condoleeza Rice gives us three whimpy excuses for why America won’t strike Iran.
1) “…wish to solve the crisis through peaceful means”
Forgive me, but we all know that Ahmadinejad will not be stopped by peaceful means! So, what’s your next excuse, Condi?
2) “…concern that a military strike will be ineffective – that it would fail to completely destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities”
Uhm, you mean to tell me that a bunch of cruise missiles and a couple M.O.A.B.’s wouldn’t make them think twice about resuming production??? C’mon, that’s just plain nonesense! If anything, it would let them know that we are serious! You don’t have to completely destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities, just their will to defy the International Community! Besides, I’m sure that if you hit some uranium fuel rods along the way, no one is going to go anywhere near those places for a loooong time….
3) “…lack of precise intelligence on the targets’ locations.”
What? Are you trying to tell me that the intelligence gathered by ISEA, Israel, and the United States is insufficient to target the locations? I don’t think so… In fact, here’s a satellite photograph of Natanz, that I found after just 15 seconds of Googling… You can click on it to enlarge…
So, what you are really trying to say, is that you don’t want the national and international backlash that will result from a military action. And, you’d rather that Israel suffer those consequences. Does that just about sum it up? I thought so…
Bush: I’d understand if Israel decided to attack Iran

The United States lacks sufficient intelligence on Iran’s nuclear facilities at this time, which prevents it from initiating a military strike against them, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has told European politicians and diplomats with whom she has recently met.
Rice mentioned three reasons why the United States is currently unable to carry out a military operation against Iran: the wish to solve the crisis through peaceful means; concern that a military strike will be ineffective – that it would fail to completely destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities; and the lack of precise intelligence on the targets’ locations.
U.S. President George W. Bush and President Jacques Chirac of France met several weeks ago. Bush told his French counterpart that the possibility that Israel would carry out a strike against Iran’s nuclear installations should not be ruled out.
Bush also said that if such an attack were to take place, he would understand it. According to European diplomats who later met with Rice, the secretary of state did not express the same willingness to show understanding for a possible Israeli strike against Iran.
Nonetheless, Rice did not discount the possibility that such an operation may take place.
In recent talks with their Israeli counterparts, French government officials estimated that Iran would reach the “point of no return” in its nuclear program by spring 2007, in approximately five months.
At that point, according to Israeli sources, Iran will be in a position to simultaneously operate approximately 3,000 centrifuges for enriching uranium.
Various estimates by international experts hold that today Iran is operating 340-600 such centrifuges.
In talks with Israeli sources several days ago, a French government official asserted that an Israeli military attack against Iran would be “a total disaster” in terms of its implications for the entire world.
According to the French official, such a strike would at best delay the completion of Iran’s nuclear program by two years.
The attack would also result in Iran cancelling its membership in the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, cause a great deal of agitation in the Arab world, lead to a rise in oil prices, and could result in a major Iranian military response that would not target Israel alone.

And GW Bush considered Iraq to be the biggest terror risk to the US and her allies ? Iran has always been the bigger threat to world security and the Middle East yet we have made her the Srong Man in the region. We went into Iraq because we thought Saddam had WMD, and yet the Iranians have been working on the nukes for years and this of course was no “secret “. Why didn’t Bush save our resources in forcefully facing down Iran rather then Saddam ? What an utter miscalculation this President and his advisors have made. Will the Iranians get and use nukes on GW Bush’s watch ? Will THAT be his legacy ? And now the Iraqi’s are “talking” with Iran and Syria ? Did Bush and his advisors not foresee that would never be “stable” with the constant destablizing force of Iran and Syria within Iraq ? The complete misunderstanding of Islam and the region has led to this sorry affair.

I don’t know. Iran is fimly in Russia’s arms now. The U.S. has changed global politics, and the middle east with American blood. The west is a tide of secular humanism, and Iran is falling apart from within.
Perhaps, we are seeing G-d’s plan being fulfilled by men who think they are doing for themselves in the name of money, and power. Hey, I will not cut your head off for not believing as I do. But, those moon god worshippers sure will.
