Insurgents Claim To Hold U.S. Soldiers
KSBW — BAGHDAD — An al-Qaida front group says it has captured U.S. soldiers in the attack that killed five and left three missing.
The claim by the front group was posted on several web sites that have been used in the past to post reliable information from terrorist groups. But a spokesperson for the U.S. military said on Sunday morning that they have not verified the claim. It is also not clear if the group is claiming to have all three of the missing soldiers.
The U.S. said Saturday that three soldiers were missing and five people were dead and after a pre-dawn attack near Mahmoudiya.
Mahmoudiya is about 20 miles south of Baghdad in an al-Qaida-dominated area known as the “triangle of death.” Two U.S. soldiers were massacred there last year after they disappeared at a checkpoint.
U.S. spokesman Maj. Gen. William Caldwell confirmed Sunday that the Iraqi interpreter was among the dead — and that all the missing were Americans. He said about 4,000 U.S. troops were involved in the search for the missing soldiers.

I’d like to see this Triangle of Death live up to its name. By that I mean carpet bomb that place so that nothing remains. Failing that, let’s grab some relatives of All Cockroaches and demand they release our people or else. They want to act like savages then we should oblige them.
