This morning, the lawyer for the Jimenez’s family has left another update that I am reposting from the comments section:

Story Update:

Immigration Judge Montante has signed an order terminating the deportation proceedings against Mrs. Jimenez (Signed 6-25-07).

I have been in contact with the DHS, and it appears as though Mrs. Jimenez may be granted her Green Card.

I will keep you posted.

  1. Update:

I have been informed by the Director of the Office of International Affairs: Parole and Human Rights Branch, that they were authorizing a parole of my client, which will enable CIS to adjudicated her I-485 (Green Card Application).

It is looking like we are going to solve Mrs. Jimenez’s problem.

Thanks for keeping up on the story.
