Iranian’s release blasphemous movie about Jesus Christ. Christians Riot.

riot.jpg
Ok, nobody rioted but they should have. Christians normally do not respond with violence to these blasphemous attacks against their Lord and Savior they instead show remarkable tolerance. Muslims would have already threatened to kill the producers, actors and anyone else they could find that had anything to do with this film.

This movie is blasphemy at its highest level. Muslims simply can not stand thinking about Mohammed as number two. Changing Christian doctrine and calling it art is wrong no matter who does it. If the Christian community made a movie about Mohammed learning Christian doctrine and changing it into a hateful, oppressive ideology to enslave the masses, Muslims would be outraged but that movie would be true.

No Riot will happen and not many Christians will see it but the story has to be countered. Muslim fiction even poorly written is designed to do one thing, spread Islam. The most violent and oppressive ideology on the planet.

TEHRAN — A director who shares the ideas of Iran’s hardline president has produced what he says is the first film giving an Islamic view of Jesus Christ, in a bid to show the ‘common ground’ between Muslims and Christians.

Nader Talebzadeh sees his movie, ‘Jesus, the Spirit of God,’ as an Islamic answer to Western productions like Mel Gibson’s 2004 blockbuster ‘The Passion of the Christ,’ which he praised as admirable but quite simply ‘wrong’.

‘Gibson’s film is a very good film. I mean that it is a well-crafted movie but the story is wrong — it was not like that,’ he said, referring to two key differences: Islam sees Jesus as a prophet, not the son of God, and does not believe he was crucified.

Talebzadeh said he even went to Gibson’s mansion in Malibu, California, to show him his film. ‘But it was Sunday and the security at the gate received the film and the brochure and promised to deliver it,’ though the Iranian never heard back.

Even in Iran, ‘Jesus, The Spirit of God’ had a low-key reception, playing to moderate audiences in five Tehran cinemas during the holy month of Ramadan, in October.

The film, funded by state broadcasting, faded off the billboards but is far from dead, about to be recycled in a major 20 episode spin-off to be broadcast over state-run national television this year.

Talebzadeh insists it aims to bridge differences between Christianity and Islam, despite the stark divergence from Christian doctrine about Christ’s final hours on earth.

‘It is fascinating for Christians to know that Islam gives such devotion to and has so much knowledge about Jesus,’ Talebzadeh told AFP.

‘By making this film I wanted to make a bridge between Christianity and Islam, to open the door for dialogue since there is much common ground between Islam and Christianity,’ he said.

The director is also keen to emphasise the links between Jesus and one of the most important figures in Shiite Islam, the Imam Mahdi, said to have disappeared 12 centuries ago but whose ‘return’ to earth has been a key tenet of the Ahmadinejad presidency.

Talebzadeh made his name making documentaries about Iran’s 1980-1988 war against Iraq, an important genre in the country’s post-revolutionary cinema.

But such weighty themes, and his latest film on Jesus, compete with domestic gangster thrillers and sugary boy-meets-girl love stories, the movies that continue to draw the biggest audiences in the Islamic Republic.

The bulk of ‘Jesus, the Spirit of God’, which won an award at the 2007 Religion Today Film Festival in Italy, faithfully follows the traditional tale of Jesus as recounted in the New Testament Gospels, a narrative reproduced in the Koran and accepted by Muslims.

But in Talebzadeh’s movie, God saves Jesus, depicted as a fair-complexioned man with long hair and a beard, from crucifixion and takes him straight to heaven.

‘It is frankly said in the Koran that the person who was crucified was not Jesus’ but Judas, one of the 12 Apostles and the one the Bible holds betrayed Jesus to the Romans, he said. In his film, it is Judas who is crucified.

Islam sees Jesus as one of five great prophets — others being Noah, Moses and Abraham — sent to earth to announce the coming of Mohammed, the final prophet who spread the religion of Islam. It respects Jesus’ followers as ‘people of the book’.

Iran has tens of thousands of its own Christians who are guaranteed religious freedoms under the constitution — mainly Armenians, though their numbers have fallen sharply since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Every Christmas, Ahmadinejad and other officials lose no time in sending greetings to Christian leaders including the pope on what they describe as the ‘auspicious birthday of Jesus Christ, Peace Be Upon Him (PBUH).’

In this year’s message, Ahmadinejad said that ‘peace, friendship and justice will be attained wherever the guidelines of Jesus Christ (PBUH) are realised in the world.’

Shiite Muslims, the majority in Iran, believe Jesus will accompany the Imam Mahdi when he reappears in a future apocalypse to save the world.

And Talebzadeh said the TV version of his film will further explore the links between Jesus and the Mahdi — whose return Ahmadinejad has said his government, which came to power in 2005, is working to hasten.

Shiites believe the Mahdi’s reappearance will usher in a new era of peace and harmony.

‘We Muslims pray for the ‘Return’ (of Imam Mahdi) and Jesus is part of the return and the end of time,’ Talebzadeh said.

‘Should we, as artists, stand idle until that time? Don’t we have to make an effort?’

  1. ISLAMSFORLOSERS Says:

Four out of five prophets were stolen from real religion. This says a lot about Islamania, doesn’t it? And the fifth one who is an original happens to be the oddball who doesn’t fit in at all.

Maybe it’s time to invoke that UN resolution against defaming religion-a valid case finally turned up.

  2. Blackdog Says:

I have begun a new religion. It was told to me by a snake. At first, I thought the snake was satan, but then he said he wasn’t, and I believe him, because he said I would have all the porn channels on TV for free in my new religion. And satan is too cheap for that.

Anyway, the snake told me that all the religions before had got it wrong. Judaism, Christianity – wrong. Even the last one where the snake tried to get things right, got it wrong. And he said he promised the last guy 72 virgins, but he had some mental imbalance, and went off on wanting 14 year olds or something.

So, in my new religion, all the prophets have been renamed – Adam is not Adam, but Allen. And Noah is not Noah, but Noam. And Moses is actually Monty. And Abraham’s name is Shantifkoya. Needless to say, Christ’s name is not Jesus, but Jethro. And we scratched the idiot pedophile, because he was dumb. So that makes me the last prophet – Blackdog, but my name will be Canious Noir.

An in my religion, we are supposed to go around driving our cars into lakes as a form of sacrifice. The amount of sacrifice is determined by the cost of the car, and how far you were able to actually jump it into the lake. You cannot wear any sort of safety gear, either.

Can you drink, and jumb? With Classic Rock?

  4. Mullah Lodabullah Says:

    * An in my religion, we are supposed to go around driving our cars into lakes as a form of sacrifice.

Is this written in the Caran?

  5. Leatherneck Says:

    Now, that’s funny!

  6. Blackdog Says:

    The snake has revealed more…
The Gospels will now be rewritten into a new scripture called “The Goob,” and my followers will be Goobers. Guess what you have at Communion? Which isn’t so bad, except that communion in my religion involves enemas.

  7. THE TRUE ORIGIN OF OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT BIBLE AND THE FICTIONAL STORY OF JESUS CHRIST EXPOSED

All over the world human beings believe and worship one true God that they believed is the creator of the universe! Sadly enough, they don’t know that the one true God who created human beings was an ancient astronaut, called Enki (the Serpent God, aka Ptah of Egypt, aka “E.A” who was the creator of human beings on Earth. When people talk of “Heaven”, they may not know it but it is the planet where these ancient astronauts, the Anunnaki’s came from (Nibiru).I am sure the only history of humanity 80% of human beings in Europe and America are familiar with is what they read in the Bible. The Bible is just a re-written account of much older ancient records of the history of human beings. When the Jews went into captivity in Babylon about 700 BC, they had access to this history of the Anunnakis and copied and re-wrote it. Nanna, the son of Enlil became Jehovah of the Bible, and Enki, the creator of human beings became the serpent God.The Bible is hostile to Enki because the Jews were aligned to Enlil, the crazy terror Annunaki God who hated human beings and wanted them destroyed by flood. The father of Nanna was ENLIL also called El. That is why most Jewish names contain these two letters “EL”. For example, Daniel (DANI-EL), Israel (ISRA-EL) and so on.It is very strange how human beings worship the evil, hateful Anunnaki God (JEHOVAH) who hated them and wanted them destroyed, while the benevolent God, (ENKI, E.A, PTAH) who created them and saved them, they do not know!!! That is one reason why 80% of human beings are idiots and dumb!!!! The old testament Bible was written by Ezra and his priests. The story is true except that it was copied and re-written from Babylonian records and the scenes in the story were moved to Palestine. The same thing is true with the new testament. There was no historical human being called Jesus Christ who lived in Palestine 2000 yrs ago. All the books of new testament were written by Piso, aka Flavius Josephus, who was half Roman citizen and half Jew. The story of Jesus Christ is just a re-written account of the story of Egyptian Isis, Horus, Osiris and Seth, the half human and half Anunnaki gods, who were the children of Maduk (Ra), the son of Enki, the creator of human beings. scogostology.com

  8. Ronin Says:

I almost erased that crap and I am still not sure Doc will not. I chose to leave it as proof that enemy propagandists do a piss poor job.

It is poor policy to insult those you are attempting to reach. Your theme starts with an attempt to discredit Christ and ends with the insults. Your arguments are piss poor at best-even if you could prove the biblical stories were a perfect match for an older more ancient text (they are not) it would only prove the story was popular a not necessarily incorrect.

You should also stick to one theme or at least similar ones. The entire God hates human things is just distracting, un-provable and distracts from your main theme of Jews and Christians are bad.

As far as the historical record goes and Doc or a reader more knowledgeable on Christianity can help me out here but I doubt there has ever been more research conducted any subject than on the Bible and its ideology.

Some researched the Bible to discredit it and some to prove it but the research was done over generations and the simple fact that so many Churches exist are proof enough the research did not disprove the book.

So there ya go, I told you how to write a better story, go forth –create and make sure you return so I can trash that one too.

  9. Geez, it’s like Scientology meets Sumerian mythology…. There certainly are a lot of gullible folks out there… I wonder if Tom Cruz could get the rights to the script…

1 – Of course Jesus “the Christ” never lived in Palestine. It was Israel, ya’ big dummy.

    2. – Many of the events, people, places, and customs in the New Testament are confirmed by secular historians who were almost contemporaries with New Testament writers. Secular historians like the Jewish Josephus (before A.D. 100), the Roman Tacitus (around A.D. 120), the Roman Suetonius (A.D. 110), and the Roman governor Pliny Secundus (A.D. 100-110) make direct reference to Jesus or affirm one or more historical New Testament references.

So, I guess you are trying to discredit that fact by stating that Flavius Josephus wrote the New Testament… Interesting… But, obviously, you do not read Greek! If you did, you would notice the different styles of writing by the different authors of the New Testament. In fact, St. Paul’s style of writing is VERY distinctive, as opposed to St. John’s style of writing which is very plain and common. Comparing these styles of writing to Josephus, one can obviously see the differences. – It would be akin to comparing Mark Twain’s style of writing with Kurt Vonnegut and/or Ernest Hemingway. Their literary prose and use of unique words, along with consistent misspellings are quite obviously different. Same with Josephus, Paul, Mark, Luke, John, Matthew, and Peter

So, you are full of crap in claiming Josephus wrote the New Testament. Which, pretty much puts the veracity of the rest of your claims into question…

    Good day.

  10. Hey People, we live in America. You are entitled to your own opinions and judgments, even when they are idiotic. What is funny is that, you feel you have the right to have your own opinions but others don’t. And when you encounter opinions that are opposed to yours, you feel you have the right to call them nutty names and condemn them. You are supposed to be civilized and yet each time, you keep behaving like dim-witted, unwashed stinking animals, chipmunks, to be specific. (Hey Sorry chipmunks, you have more dignity and self respect than these ignorant buffoons) One the things that make America great is that anyone can express his/her opinion!. You also have the right to condemn the Truth as you have done here because America allows you also to be ignorant and to wallow in your ignorance and feel proud about it. Instead of attacking me and the Truth, why not go to the libraries of the world , especially Rome and do a little research? Like the saying goes: Truth is always stranger than fiction! You have swallowed fiction and deception for 2,200 yrs, now you have both stomach and intellectual ulcer. I want to operate on you and try to cure you but all you do is attack me! Well, soon your ulcers will become tumors and cancerous. Attacking me, the doctors is not going to help you, rather it will kill you. You are sick!!!!
Whether you know it or agree with it, there was no historical Jesus Christ and Piso, aka Flavous Josephus created the new testment Bible, all of which are fictional.

  11. Leatherneck Says:

Did you take your crazy medication today? Does your mommie know where you are at?

I bet TFSOJCE, you are a moon god worshiper. What do you like to do after Friday prayers? Murder dogs? Beat women?

Just asking. Have a great American day SFB’s. FYI, SFB stands for shit for brains.

  12. Nope. I never attacked you personally. I attacked your lack of knowledge when it comes to reading Greek text – especially the Biblical Manuscripts that comprise the New Testament. Like I said, if you could read Greek and study the manuscripts, you would realize your error in asserting that Josephus wrote the entire New Testament.

But, it’s obvious that you don’t care about the Truth, nor do you care to honestly debate my point, instead, you cry like a wounded hyena, claiming you are being attacked because your opinion is different from ours. No, you are not being personally attacked by myself. (Leatherneck, on the other hand, well he just calls ‘em like he sees e’m).

You are being informed that your opinion on who wrote the New Testament does NOT hold up to careful scrutiny and historical datum. It’s that simple. Now, if you dropped the flawed notion that Josephus wrote the entire New Testament, then you would have a stronger argument with which to propagate your thesis.

    Cheers

  13. And, even though I am knowledgeable in this area (else I wouldn’t have so quickly jumped in and focused on your New Testament authorship allegations), you probably won’t take my word for it, so I dug up a another source that discusses the differences in the writing styles between authors of the Gospel. It even talks about your man, Josephus and his stilted archaistic writing style:

    ISB Encyclopedia

    Cheers
