United States and United Nations help steal Kosovo

I hope I wake up tomorrow with news of the entire Serbian military going scorched earth on Kosovo. Take it quick enough and the EU forces will arrive too late to matter.

It’s not that I have anything against the people who live in Kosovo but I do have a problem with outsiders stealing sovereign territory. As an American, I am deeply ashamed that my government supports the blatant theft of anyone’s property.

What is to stop the UN and the US from annexing Canada or Mexico next? This stinks and if I were into conspiracies, I would wonder where the recently signed Global Poverty Act falls into this.

Kosovo will become just another Muslim hell hole and the jump off point for a new rash of European Jihadis. I doubt by Monday there will be a single non Muslim left in Kosovo, the minions are going to celebrate and we know what that means.

17 February 2008, AFP
KOSOVO was poised to become the world’s newest state today, albeit under the guidance of the European Union and the United States, as it prepared to declare independence from Serbia.

The parliament of the overwhelmingly ethnic Albanian province was expected to proclaim independence around 3pm local time (0100 AEDT), in the wake of a night of euphoric celebrations in the capital Pristina.

Diplomatic recognition by Washington and key European capitals would follow within 24 hours or so, even though Belgrade regards Kosovo as the cradle of Serb culture and religion and sees its independence as illegal.

“The constitution is ready and national symbols are ready,” said Kosovo’s Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, who a decade ago led an ethnic Albanian guerilla war against the then Serbian strongman Slobodan Milosevic’s security forces.

“I want to make clear that independence is a closed chapter. We have to focus on the future,” he added, as cheering throngs of flag-waving Kosovars poured onto Pristina’s snow-dusted streets in anticipation of independence.

Independence would also bring down the curtain on the long and brutal break-up of Yugoslavia in the 1990s that followed the demise of communism in Europe and witnessed the continent’s worst atrocities since World War II.

Kosovo has been under United Nations administration since 1999 when a US-led NATO air war against Milosevic’s regime wrested the landlocked province of two million people — 90 per cent of them ethnic Albanians — from Belgrade’s grip.

Once independence is declared, a 120-day transition period will get underway, marked by the deployment of a 2,000-strong European Union police and judicial team intended to smoothen the transition and ensure democracy.
With an estimated 40 per cent unemployment, and half its population under the age of 25, Kosovo will also remain highly dependent on massive infusions of Western economic aid.

Belgrade yesterday vowed to oppose the EU mission, dubbed EULUX.

“The government of Serbia explicitly opposes the arrival of the EU mission without a clear legal basis which can be given only by the UN Security Council,” Serbian deputy prime minister Bozidar Djelic said in a formal statement of protest to the Slovenian presidency of the European Union.

Thaci signalled yesterday the newborn nation would act swiftly to join international institutions such as the United Nations.

Infidel retardedness knows no end. Looks like I’ll be backing the Russians who are backing the Serbs on this issue because the US and the EU are both acting stupidly. No doubt the Kosovo Koranist Klub (KKK) will give its thanks in the usual bloody fashion.

P.S. I hope we’re all ready to see some more of our tax money being wasted here. After all, this is the palestine of Europe.

I have said this before. I have always believed that the wars in Yugoslavia have been reported in such a way as to totally confuse us.
I am usually “up” with knowledge of global politics, but I never fully understood this conflict and and I will not blame myself totally.

Of course it was all before I started using the ‘net and couldn’t get anything other than MSM news.

I have to thank 1389 for all the enlightening emails on this topic. Just for starters:

It’s been a very good surprise to me to find in American blogs the opinions soberly different from a false cheerful rhetoric around Kosovo self-proclaimed independence. At the end of the day, the piece of Serbian land (actually not an “any” piece, but an area of a high historical and religious significance) has been stolen in favor of muslim warriors. I sincerely don’t believe it will benefit America or Europe in a long-term propspective. Not talking about an international law of state soveregnity flushed down the toilet.

No doubts, from now on Kosovo will produce new Bin Ladens and they will try to hit their former sponsors as hard as they can. It’s pity that mass media both sides of the Atlantic has put a tremendous efforts to brainwash the peoples’ minds and install a wrong idea of what’s going on in there.

Muslims should be wiped out. They are a blight on this earth. I always maintained they were the offspring of prostitutes laying with dogs.

like all wars on the balkans, this one had an orchestrated start, “The evil serbian massacre of albanians” in Racak, was actually the work of UCK (kosovo liberation army), which is a terrorist group.
Thank you america thank you europe, to take away the land, of people that protected europe for 500 years against turkish invasions. Thank you for giving away land that has the highest orthodox religious monuments per sq km in the world (well i doubt it will have it much longer). We can only wait for the non albanians in the south enclavs to be whipped out very soon.

Will america allow the north part of kosovo to break away from kosovo and stay in serbia?

Well congratulations to bush and his other morons, this is gonna be Afganistan 2, so expect some more planes in your skyscrapers in about 10-15 years, when the serbs wont be the main enemy of albanians

Many Muslim are closet Christians. That is one reason I do not like genocide as a solution. Many Muslims are also cultural or name only Muslims, they would gladly walk away from Islam if it were safe to do so. Genocide is not the solution and no one solution will work to solve this.

Islam hates exposure and I will do my part to keep the pressure on them.

  10. Ronin Says:

    Dejan Jaksic,

That was President Clinton’s policy. It will go down in history as one of the biggest foreign policy mistakes ever committed by man. The current administration continuing it is an outrage. This will cause Europe pain and suffering for generations.

Unless this is part of a bigger plan to crush Europe I have no idea why America supported it.

    Ilir,

I strongly feel the Christians remaining in Kosovo are doomed. If I were you I would make plans to leave. The Muslim Albanians are going to take this as a sign from Allah and you and yours will find yourselves unwelcome.

  20. Ilir Says:

Ronin i see you know allmost nothing about Kosova and your sources come only from serbian side. Kosovas first president Dr. Rugova converted from Islam to Christianity and he still was president of Kosova. Until he’s death Dr. Rugovas partie was the strongest partie. Albanians have suffered a lot from serbs, and you have to come to Kosova to see the reallity. Kosova is not in the middle east. There is a great simpaty for Vatican in Kosova, a couple of days before the new President of Kosova was in Vatican to take Pope’s blessing for the new state(serbs wich belong to eastern ortodox church like russians, consider Vatican as an enemy) .

I will prey to Jesus for you my brother, i hope you will find the true side

Read the timeline and you will see both sides could hunt and peck to claim Kosovo:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/country_profiles/3550401.stm

I am not picking a side based around religion or politics. I am speaking out against outsiders (US &UN) deciding who gets someone else’s property.

I will add this though, I was a peacekeeper in the Balkans and now realize the Serbs were no worse than any other side and we (the US) owe the Serbs a heart-felt apology for singling them out.

  23. Ilir Says:

    Dear Ronin,

the timeline on that website doesn’t show that the serbs invaded the ballkans in the 6th century, so Kosova is not serbian property(serbians say they came in the 6th century from the Karpats). The Turks occupied the Balkans for 5 centuries, does this mean that our land belong to Turks?

No. Kosova belongs to all people of Kosova, no matter their religion, and not to outsiders in Belgrad.

US stopped(thx God) the killings and thats i holy work what they did

    God bless USA

  24. Ronin Says:

    Ilir,

You are missing my entire point. I have no issue with Kosovo’s independence but with the process. My issue is and will remain with outsiders (US and UN) deciding for Kosovo what route it will take. Like the other article pointed out-what stops them from deciding that Vermont is next?

There are hundreds of groups calling for independence all over the world, some actually have a valid claim. Who picks who is right and how? What criteria did the UN use and who benefits? Who will suffer. What are the long-term consequences? What will the economic costs be? These questions should have been asked.

No civil war is ever civil and stopping a senseless war of attrition was a good thing. Stirring up old ethnic hatreds by granting freedoms, which clearly benefit only one side is criminal. I can see no good coming from this.

  25. Ilir Says:

    Ronin,

UN didn’t decide for the independence, becouse the Russians are against Kosovas independence. Do you say that USA shouldn’t stop the massacres, but just watch how the serbs kill innocent people? I think that USA made mistake that didnt stop the killings of Catholics in Croatia, but thx God they reacted in time in Kosova.

You mentioned Vermont. I dont know the history of Vermont, but maybe you can tell me, did someone tried an ethnic cleansing in Vermount? Did someone killed thousand and thousand of innocent people in Vermont? Did someone raped hundrends of women in Vermont? If that is the case than Vermont deserve the freedom too.
