Illinois: Religious Leaders From “All Faiths” Get Together and Show Off their Dhimmitudeness

As Ronin would say, “Let’s Roll:”

Religious leaders angered by anti-Muslim comments

Religious leaders of all faiths came together Tuesday night at a Frankfort mosque to condemn anti-Muslim sentiments expressed by Frankfort Township Assessor Paul Ruff in a June e-mail to several members of the community.

[Now, I'm not privy to the guest list, but it's probably a safe bet to assume that it just consisted of Christians, Muslims, and maybe one other obscure "faith." I seriously doubt the Jews showed up en mass...]

“We have an elephant in this room, in this community. We need to identify the elephant and try to understand where he is coming from,” said Afzal Ahmad, chairman of the board for the American Islamic Association.

[Yup, I agree. Islam is the elephant in the room...]

“Ruff has not only crossed us but he has betrayed the Constitution of the United States. I’m offended, and my community is offended. Maybe he needs to re-read the constitution,” he said.

[Really? I think you better actually read the Constitution...]

Ruff was invited to press conference, but he has declined comment to all since the SouthtownStar last month published an article about his e-mail that suggested that America follow the sentiments of former Australian Prine Minister John Howard, who said Muslims who want to live under Sharia law should get out of the country.

[What's the problem??? If you are a Muslim who wants to live under the laws of Australia and America, then you are welcome, if you want to live under Sharia, then go somewhere else. There's nothing wrong with that!]

“Maybe if we circulate this among ourselves, American citizens will find the back bone to start speaking and voicing the same truths. If you agree, please send this on,” the e-mail urged.

Never in my 35 years (in this community) have we had such an opinion expressed by an elected official,” Ahmad said.

[Ah, yes. The feigned outrage that is just typical of all stealth jihadists...]

The First Amendment says everyone has the right to worship God,” said Jan Shaulis, of the Orland Park United Methodist Church. “Jesus taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. I take this very personally. It’s very sad that a politician would stoop to such measures.”

[And, it wisely adds, "or abridging the freedom of speech..." Also, there is nothing worse than a Christian "leader" who blatantly ignores Jesus' call to be wary of false prophets and then runs around blindly defending Islam and its flagitious, pedophile false prophet Muhammad! Get a clue!]

Several religious leaders said they were saddened and angered by Ruff’s “ignorance.

{While ignoring their own…]

They praised their Islamic brothers and sisters as being “good neighbors,” who always respond to people in need and demonstrate peace and charity.

[Fine. So those particular Muslims are good neighbors. Big whoop-dee-do. That's not the issue, the issue is Islam and the implementation of Sharia Law. I'm sure that there are Nazis who make good neighbors, too. But, that doesn't change the fact that their ideology is just wrong and destructive - having no place in a Democratic Republic. Islam is a false religion founded by a lying mass murderer and a pedophile to boot. No one is asking you to hate your Muslim neighbors; hate the sin, not the sinner...]

Ruff’s sentiments do not represent the community in which they live, they said.

They stood alongside Ahmad as he read their joint statement “in speaking out against religious discrimination, religious bigotry and religious intolerance.”

[Yeah, sure... Because we all know how tolerant Islam is of other religions... Of course, the Qur'an exhorts Muslims to fight and kill Christians, Pagans, Jews, Atheists, etc. etc. It even goes so far as to call the Jews, "Apes and Pigs..." So, in essence, that joint statement they all agreed on is intolerant of Islam!!! Go figure!]

The statement will be “made known” to Ruff “so he sees that he is the lone voice in this community,” Ahmad said. He hopes to hand it to the assessor personally.

“We will keep trying to talk to him,” said Khalid Mozaffar, the Islamic Association’s director of communications and outreach.

If Ruff continues to refuse, “come election time, we will figure out what to do next. We would like the story to end here.”

[Yeah, submit and be a good little dhimmi, Mr. Ruff...]

After the conference, Rich Kelly, Orland Township assessor, said he was “astounded” that an elected official made those statements, but he said Muslims should not be concerned that Ruff’s personal bias would interfere with his assessments of their properties, as some feared.

“If he made a mistake, it would be in black and white,” he said.

  1. Junior Achiever,

    “…the writings sound quite childish”

Of course, the fact that the false prophet, Muhammad, was illiterate doesn’t seem to be a problem for you…

As I’ve said here before, don’t be fooled by the lazy/colorful writing style I use for my Bulldog persona… I can get annoyingly erudite, with breakneck celerity, once I intuit an elitist deprecating others in a pretentious manner…

So, just be thankful I work really hard to write in my lazy/colorful prose style…

We aim to reach a large audience, and ostentatious displays of officialese are just trite and boring.

Obviously, you are no fan of one of the greatest American authors, Samuel Clemens.

But, your comments are all sophistic and diversionary. Just what I’ve come to expect from Islamic apologists such as yourself.

Let’s take a look, shall we?

“You guys are so funny! Dr. Bulldog – your Quran verses – what translation are you using – Leatherneck’s?

Well, thanks! We try our best to keep a sense of humor around here.

As to the translations, does it really matter? It only seems to matter to apologists, like yourself, whenever the quoted Sura contains something uncongenial that reveals the hatred inherent in Islam.

I’m sure that if I quoted a Sura that said something such as, “Love everyone and hate no one,” you would approbate it as the divine wisdom of Allah.

Of course, this is because, it fits within your own conception of “true” Islam. However, when shown a Sura that contradicts your parochial paradigm, apologists, such as yourself, immediately assume that there must be some mistake, somewhere.

The same is true of the Hadiths and Islamic history that goes against your narrow-minded, Panglossian perception of Islam – you do not wish to believe it, so you either ignore it, or attempt to attack its veracity.

That is pretty damn foolish of you…

Now, I was going to include the Arabic version of those Sura’s, but I didn’t because you said:

“Since when did the Saudis speak for Muslims. The Saudis are led by Wahabis whose ideas of religion are way off the deep end. I’m sorry but you simply cannot convincingly suggest that the Saudis speak for Muslims! That’s just laughable.”

So, I deduced that there was no point in including the original Arabic, as you would just say that the Saudis, led by the Wahabists, had altered the text…

As to your ridiculous earlier assertion that I don’t have a clue about what Sahih is all about, I submit to you my comments from July 28, 2008.

So, there you are. Following a religion created by an illiterate false prophet (from Saudi Arabia, by the way) and wishing like hell that Muhammad wasn’t so flagitious and concupiscent.

    Salami !!!

  2. Junaid Afeef Says:

FYI DB… Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was from the Arabian peninsula but not Saudi Arabia. Got it? The Saudi is what brought the Wahabi, okay?

Use an accurate translation DB. Using Leatherneck’s version or one concocted by someone who has an Islamophobic agenda is wrong.

Lastly – you simply cannot force us (Muslims) to adhere to a version of our faith which we do not want to.

Just for the record – I love reading your views on Islam. Please continue.

Our community will continue to grow here and abroad. We will continue to outreach to reasonable Christians and members of other faiths. We will continue to speak out against extremism (yours and ours).

May the one True God guide us all.

    Bye bye fellas!

  3. Mullah Lodabullah Says:

Junaid said * May the one True God guide us all.

You have rejected His guidance, and His free gift of salvation and eternal life through
His Son Jesus Christ, which is your right.

However, Jesus’ invitation remains unaltered and unrevoked, until you die the first
death … [The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" Let everyone who hears this say, "Come!" Let everyone who is thirsty come! Let anyone who wants the water of life
take it as a gift!] Revelation 22:17

[The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.] Revelation 22:21

That is the end of the New Testament, based upon the death and resurrection
of God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

Islam rejects Jesus’ sonship and deity, and dooms its followers to death and hell forever. (See Sura 4:157, 4:171, and other blasphemies of “Allah” and Mo)

Your community can continue but will people listewn as long as they use violence? Doubt it…

Islam will contniue to outreach resonable Christians…? Only those who are to PC to actually see how Islam destroys itself with its Sharia Laws & violence… Only those of other faiths will realize perhaps too late that Islam is a system that wants to take over all peoples. If you doubt these words fo mine find a quran with a commentary.

Its worthless to ’speak out’ agianst islamic violence agianst non muslims you must teach moslems to live in peace with others and rid yourselves of the jihadists.

But that is the problerm you cant…

  5. Junior Achiever,

FYI DB… Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was from the Arabian peninsula but not Saudi Arabia. Got it? The Saudi is what brought the Wahabi, okay?

Muhammad was born in Mecca around 570 AD.

Mecca, of course, is in what is now called Saudi Arabia, ergo Muhammad is from Saudi Arabia.

Your implication of Wahhabism as being the root cause of all evils in Islam just doesn’t hold up to scrutiny, as it doesn’t explain the Shiites in Iran. Nor does it explain Hamas, Hezbollah, the Nation of Islam, the Muslim Brotherhood, etc., etc.

Nor, does it explain over 1400 years of Islamic atrocities committed in the name of Allah.

    Ham Salami !

Don’t forget old mo got his start by listening to a woman. She came up with the allahs messanger scam.
