Obama and Infanticide
Obama is NOT a Christian:
Psalm 139:13 (NIV)
-
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Jeremiah 1:5
-
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
John 14:21
-
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Exodus 20:13
-
Thou shalt not kill.

Abortion isnt a choice…
Its murder…

I reluctantly support abortion, but would be quite willing to restrict to to the first six weeks of pregnancy. Partial birth abortion, induced labour at 20-24 weeks is a crime. Unfortunately the video is quite wrong insofar as it shows an obvious full term infant.

ciccio,
Of course it showed a full term baby at the end – just like Soap Opera’s show three month old babies popping out in the delivery room. It’s trying to make a dramatic point – not a snuff film.
So, I respectfully disagree. I don’t think it was wrong. I think it was a moral decision and dramatically quite effective.
But, be that as it may, there were preemies shown throughout the video which made the point that partial birth abortion IS killing.
Most telling was that a birth certificate AND a death certificate are issued for a partial birth abortion…
Cheers,
P.S. – Why so “reluctant?”

And to think…….many couples spend thougsands of dollars to be parents because of problems getting wife pregnaant.
Why not put these precious babies up for ADOPTION – NOT ABORTION? Is it the matter of actually delivering a full-term baby? Not wanting to get a “big tummy”? Or just plain “wanting sex but not the result”?
Ciccio:
Six weeks? A baby is a baby from conception, so it’s KILLING at any stage.

I am reluctant because I would not avail of it, but appreciate the fact that many of the mothers bringing unwanted children into this world bring that child nothing but poverty and deprivation.
I was recently in Brazil and returning to my hotel in a non-tourist part of town, I came across a child, 15 perhaps, sleeping with her three children in a doorway. I am an early riser, the next morning they were still there. Far better they had never been born. Another sob story out of Gaza, poor woman with 11 children cannot celebrate Eid. My response to that is somewhat crude, if you want to fuck like a rabbit, learn to eat grass. All the trouble spots in the world have one common theme, overpopulation. My personal opinion is that in South America at least, the Catholic church should be held criminally responsible for their preaching. The poorest countries in the world, Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia also have the highest fertility rates.

ciccio (Howdy)
The poorest countries also have the highest mortality rates so fewer children survive to reach adulthood. But who are we to say who should be born or not? We aren’t equipped to judge things like that.
I agree with you on the Catholic Church’s part in this. Contraception would be a better compromise than overpopulation living in abject poverty or abortion. Education for women is another good option. In every country where women are educated, birth rates go down. Of course, those countries would have to allow women to be educated …and they won’t for various reasons.

I will agree that it is better to re-educate those in the poorest countries to protect themselves and not bring too many children into our world.
But murdering children by abortion or crime is still murder….

Just thinking about China….most populous contry in the world, I believe.
Couples limited to one child – baby girls either killed or put into orphanages because boys preferred. Americans adopted many foreign born babies when they could have adopted American-born babies had they not been aborted.
Tragedy when earthquake killed only child of Chines couples. Not even a child now to carry on lineage. And now the poisoned milk formula that’s killed four (did we get true figures?) and caused hundreds to have kidney stones, and who know what else?.
Years ago my eldest sister said God takes care of world population through disasters. It makes sense to me. Reference recent ones: Asian tsunami, Myomar cylcone, China’s earthquakes, U.S. tornadoes and hurricanes, earthquake in Pakistan and South America, etc. etc…..plus the auto accidents, bus, train, plane wrecks, now many murders of innocent people by boms, guns, knives, etc. Can you imagine if none of these occured?
I agree poverty is terrible, and children in poverty is heartbreaking. Makes one want to cry, which sometimes I do when seeing their plight in TV programs. The American people, churches and organizations have been major contributors giving aid to this cause, but now I fear we American people will find we’ll not have finances as we have had to help. Very sad.
