How to Take Back The White House!
Here’s the U.S. Map by counties for the 2008 Presidential Elections. The first thing that jumps out at you is that this was a battle between urban and rural areas.

Take a good look at Missouri. Although there are only a few areas that went to Obama, McCain only won by about 6,000 votes!

If we Conservatives wish to win the White House back, we are going to have to heavily target those blue areas! We don’t need to win them, we just need to cut down on the overwhelming number of blue votes coming out from those areas! Then, the red areas will carry the victory!

Well take a look at my area southern cal. 2004 the increase in blue is directly proportional to… can you guess? Now check this out Sanctuary. you will notice the policy of the police academy. Trading minimal if any cooperation in exchange for citizen’s blood. This and other things are the reason I will not go out of my way to cooperate with law enforcement, I know nothing, maybe when they start being murdered at this rate they will do something about it. But I doubt it because 52 % of Americans voted to make these people citizens. The insurgency rolls on here as Obama prepares to roll back some of the good policies of Bush. You see, Obama is a moonbat he has bought in to the Bush is bad rhetoric. Success breeds contempt and Obama has bought in to that contempt. Good luck 52 %ers I am withdrawing from all of it, closing down my 401 k, no investing, no charity, no spending or going out to eat (the restaurant industry is one of the biggest insurgent supporters) nothing more than absolutely necessary. Put your money in a mattress or invest it in another country where it looks like it will be safe from the carpetbaggers, Zurich comes to mind, hey they managed to find a way to make it through nazi Europe I’m sure they will weather this storm too. No one seems to grasp the fact that this is what the other side wants and they have stacked the deck, there is no voting them out there is only getting out before it’s too late. If you can convince me that I am wrong, I’m listening.

Missouri’s blue areas are where most blacks live – St. Louis, Kansas City, and is that Columbia?
9 November, 2008 at 12:46 pm
notalldum,
Yes, that’s Boone County, which includes Columbia.

If you examine the big picture it is easy to see that we are fighting an asymmetric unconventional war. Pensions. If you recall what Benzemov related in his interview you can see that the insurgency has taken that a step further. Underfund Teachers pensions at the same time that you are teaching kids to hate their country (demoralization), a double whammy. From Fannie Mae to pensions to sanctuary and the subverting of the law by the law we are going to need a plan, an extensive and well thought out plan.

tgusa,
Meanwhile, L.A. voted themselves a nice, hefty property tax increase:

Here in occupied territory of Cuyahoga County,OH, school levies went down by a hefty margin. Help me understand how Obama won so handily, and the same voters would not approve a school levy? Some tax increases are better than others?

Well Doc, now you can understand how I feel living down here in Corregidor… Ca.

Looks like the areas the contribute the least and take the most voted for Obama. Country boy can survive.
9 November, 2008 at 2:02 pm
We just need to make sure the dead stay buried and don’t vote, along with roasting a few ACORNs in the courts.

Dog, There are other issues we must address as well as diluting the blue sections. I just wrote up a piece on the NC blog re: how WE MUST START A REAGAN REVOLUTION. This means the RINOs must go! Plz read my piece here>> http://gto7.wordpress.com/2008/11/09/its-time-to-give-the-reagan-boot-to-the-rinos-and-send-em-packing-back-to-the-democrat-party/
Remember Reagan! Remember 1994! Remember, we can win with a WINNING strategy! NOT a diluted, left leaning, “votes are the only thing that counts” strategy!

If the Right wants to win it better start looking for good candidates right now, not near election time. Find them and publicize them. And the Right had better make strong efforts to find non white males for candidates because this is the wave of the future-the Left always calls the Right too white, too old and too male. It’s time to beat them at their own game. Let them keep the dregs of the women, black, Hispanic and Oriental groups-I want the high quality people from them. Now we here that we’re bigots because we didn’y vote for the Annointed One-BS! I would vote for a black candidate 50 times if I could if he had good ideas and substance. The Right needs to find those people-they ARE out there-before the Left will indeed establish a permanent quasi dictatorship.

Appalled By The World,
The difference between conservatives and liberals is we don’t operate on color or gender, not the average conservative voter at least. Identity politics is a democrat mainstay, groups, subgroups and sub sub groups divided yet fragilely united, for now. The best conservative candidate regardless of identity should always be put forth. Lets face it the republican rino party doesn’t represent me anymore. How many of these average conservative voters (ex-voters) do you think have abandoned even showing up to vote over the years? It’s the country club republicans making decisions against the average conservative that has caused their losing streak by alienating the average conservative. Conservative American candidates always, wherever the chips may fall. I and my neighbors are die hards we still show up to vote hoping against hope that we can still make a difference. But check out Minnesota, Al Frankenstein and his moonbat supporters are openly stealing the election through vote fraud. They don’t care they know nothing will be done about it.
OT-Expect Algore to show up somewhere and attempt to destroy the energy industry with his end of the world rantings. I know these rantings well from the 70s although in those days you would find these unwashed people in Times Square holding signs and shouting foreboding messages of doom. From a Times Square corner to the vice presidency that’s how far we have descended, pretty progressive huh? I should have listened to them, way back then, turns out they were on to something after all.

Tgusa-
You’re absolutely correct on the Left and identity politics. This is why racism will always be a problem-THEY are the ones constantly bringing up that problem by pandering to certain groups. And by such pandering it just perpetuates sterotypes that stir up resentments that allow racism to endure. If conservatives from these groups would seize control of these groups we would then see real progress. Instead, the Left continues to have the Jesse Jacksons control these groups with their victimization mentality. A pity Malcolm X is no longer around-just before his death he saw that the hope for blacks was not through government pandering but through discipline and self help. With such conservative notions he’d be called an Uncle Tom by today’s black “leaders” who do nothing but pander.
As for Al Gore I too see him worming his way back into the spotlight. And Jimmy Carter too. All the titans of Leftist failure can now have another day in the sun with Obamania ruling the roost.
Today the US has one party-the Republicrat party. The Dems are so far left that they fall off the planet while the Reps are a lot like the Dems of about 50 years ago. In short, politics in the US are too far to the left. They need to shift back toward the center before the US becomes an unrecognizable mess.

Appalled By The World,
Absolutely, it is at this point where we must resist the trick being pulled on us regarding identity politics. I have heard suggestions of this in other supposedly conservative places as well. IMHO it could a combination of two things, one, believe it or not since 9-11 the conservative movement has inherited a lot of ex libs and they have brought with them some of their lib baggage. Being 9-11 converted conservatives they are really infants in the conservative movement they don’t yet understand conservative thinking. They look and see that we don’t have a lot of colored people maybe we have fewer women, I’m not so sure about that, besides our women are smart and capable of winning in life without cheating or playing the victim. The reason we have fewer is because we don’t play identity politics real conservatives don’t pander to anyone and because we don’t in this world of lib indoctrination it is seen as racism, genderism. How do you think that the party of Lincoln, TR and Ike has been falsely stigmatized with the kkk label when in reality the libs are the party of that ideology? The second, well an effort to sow the poisonous seeds of lib ideology among us assuring us of more rino behavior and more loss in the future. Resist and reflect on conservative ideals that date back to Lincoln, you see we don’t have any of the guilt that libs have. whatever might have once been there is now long gone. You know, the women in my family have been going off the college, competing in sports or running buisnesses for generations now.Authentic conservatives make sure there is equality among all, always have. It is the lib women and people of color that can’t seem to make it in spite of everything they have here and that’s because of exactly what you said, the libs have a reason to keep them down.

If I were the Governor of any red state I would reread the constitution and clearly understand what rights are reserved to the states. Over the decades there has been a clear encroachment on states rights. A legal rollback, a reasserting of states rights to resist the encroachment of the federal government is what is needed. The founding fathers saw all of this coming and that is why they framed the constitution as they did. But for much too long our individual governors have become lazy preferring to sacrifice the people’s rights in exchange for Washington pork.

Read you history. Rome fell not because of the barbarians at the gate, the bread and circus crowds were inside. Look at the blue and red areas and look at the demographics, are the hispanics and blacks in Kansas or are they in Detroit and CA.. Give the four years to entrench themselves, with all possible help from the crowd in power, the only thing that will shift them out is the financial collapse of the US. That is not a far-fetched possibility.

ciccio,
Hispanics are VERY family orientated. If Conservatives harp on the family values aspect, I think some of those blues can be shifted towards red.
Cheers

In a nutshell, we need candidates who can articulate conservatism, speaking to all Americans. It isn’t hard to do, really. All you have to do is believe in it.
So, who’s up for campaigning? Let’s identify our local/state offices coming up in 2010, and run for them. What’s the worst that can happen?
