Before anyone says, "but when Jesus came, he tells us to turn the other cheek". Not in cases like thihs. He said he came to fulfill the law, not to do away with it. My opinion is that this punishment is better than execution. He'll know the agony of acid burning his eyes, and he'll live blinde the rest of his life - and he'll be an outcast in his society, I would think. Our courts could take a lesson here instead of pampering our criminals. Did any of you get the e-mail going around showing the new Cook County, Illinois prison. More like a country club. From Obama's home town. If courts, FEC, FBI and Immigration ever get their acts together, maybe he'll be one of the inmates.
