Milan police say 2 terror suspects arrested in Italy; planned civilian attacks

MILAN, Italy – Italian police have arrested two men suspected of planning a terror attack in Milan.

A statement by Milan police Tuesday says the men are suspected of being part of a terror cell that was active in the Milan area and was planning attacks on civilian and military targets.

Police describe the suspects as foreigners but did not specify their nationality.

The ANSA news agency says the suspects are Moroccan and had been planning attacks in Milan, possibly on police barracks.

    planning attacks on an immigration office and a police barracks in Milan as
    well as police stations, a supermarket and a night club carpark in smaller
