Since what amount a total abolition of gun ownership in Britain, the number of gun crimes is now four times of what it was. The guy who shot a couple of punks in his home after they broke the door down, who had multiple convictions for assault and burglary, was charged with murder when one of them died. He is still sitting in jail.

We have a few things going for us they did not have:
Our distrust of authority figures and the federal government
The 2010 elections will allow us to fire most of the people who sign any antigun bill
The memory of Katrina and the lack of help, protection and leadership is still fresh in our minds and so is Ruby Ridge.
The mixtures of ethnic groups and races involved.
I do not think Americans will not follow the UK model; we are much more likely to follow the Greek model, in seven days this county would be burned beyond recognition. I fear it might never be safe for a politician to appear in public without armed bodyguards again. I honestly do not know what I would do but I already know I will never turn in a single round much less a functional weapon. My actions would most likely be dependant on what the government did. Taking weapons by force would be a Custer’s last stand scenario.
A determined gun owner could build and emplace mines, make claymore and pick overwatchs of government facilities and make gun grabs far too costly. The reality is political figures are cowards they cave to the minions every time they get a threat. I already know the real force in the US is the millions of retired and ex military. The authorities would be outgunned and undermanned from day one. By the time they could get the guard into the fray it would be over and there is no guarantee the guardsmen would not side with the gun owners. The military is far more likely to turn on the politicians than to support them, there is no love between those groups. Scary scenarios but the sheer fact the issue is so popular proves me right, Americans are not preparing to surrender they are getting ready for war.

I was thinking radio controlled planes and helicopters might be a useful tool for the resistance…

The United States government has gone conmpletely overboard in even considering taking away guns of The American people. It is absolutely stupid to believe it would make a safer society. Criminals would start accumulating and stashing guns the minute a bill was put into Contress (if they haven’t already, just because it’s been one of Obama’s ideas already). At this point, it is certainly the right of the American people to fight for the constitution and the America we have loved before we got so many corrupt and socialist/communist politicians in power. Who can we trust except ourselves?
Do you think Obama wants guns banned because he’s afraid he’ll be the target of an assassination? What about the other politicians who know they have failed their duties in representing their constituents. I’ve never seen so much hatred toward politicians and our country’s leaders as we see now. They have , in my opinion, turned traitors and betrayed We the People. Let’s not forget what our United States Supreme Court judges have done in neglecting to follow the Constitution.
How many know how to shoot a slingshot if you don’t have a gun? Easy to make, and always lots of small pebbles. After all, isn’t that more or less how David slew Goliath?
Also, when we were kids we made “guns” from wood, a clothepin and rubber bands. I doubt younger generations ever saw these. And right now, it would be easy to freeze a few dozen small snowballs for ammunition later. “Ice” balls would hurt.
I still don’t think Obama is qualified, so never can be our real president.
But who in our government is going to take responsibility and act on it????
Have already seen failure of U.S. and State Supreme Courts, U.S. and State Attorney Gernerals, Secretaries of States, Dept. of Homeland Secuity and Immigration, President Bush, FEC, FBI and ????? So who is left? He;y, maybe we should have gone to ACLU……….Wouldn’t they love to get credit for finding Obie unqualified?

I was just listening to No Compromises on Blog Talk Radio tonight. Her guest was Dr. Orly Taitz – a Constitutional Lawyer.
She says that the reason why the Supreme Court is turning down all the challenges to Obama’s citizenship is because they KNOW that Obama is NOT a natural-born citizen, and they don’t want to have to make a ruling on it that might cause civil unrest. The problem is, by ignoring the problem, they are only creating even more problems in the future…
She suggests notifying the FBI and other law enforcement agents to start investigating Obama.

I think the remainder of the world needs to mind there own business and quit worring what AMERICA and AMERICANS and H*** NO we wont give up out guns.
