Turkish PM Wants Israel Barred From U.N.

My, my, my…  How soon they forget their own REAL atrocities – like that whole genocide of the Armenians thingy…

Of course, Turkey’s PM, Tayyip Erdogan  (one of those “moderate” Muslims), has shown his antisemitic side on numerous occasions, like when he recently said, “Allah’s punishment for Israel’s inhumane actions will lead to its destruction.”  His Jew bashing rants have become obvious anti-Semitic propaganda among the general public;  openly encouraging hatred against Israel.

Suffice to say that under PM Erdogan’s leadership, Turkey has devolved into just another 7th century Islamic state of hate.

Turkish PM says Israel should be barred from U.N.

ANKARA (Reuters) – Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday Israel should be barred from the United Nations headquarters for ignoring a Security Council’s call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Turkey, a predominantly Muslim but secular country that has good ties with Israel and the Arab world, has been trying to help broker a ceasefire between Israel and the Islamist Hamas group which rules the Gaza strip.

But ties between Turkey and Israel have become strained over Israel’s offensive in Gaza, nearing its fourth week. The offensive has sparked protests across Turkey. Turkey won a non-permanent seat at the Security Council last year.

“Israel does not comply with the binding resolution of the United Nations concerning the ceasefire. This is a habit for Israel. Israel is a country that has not complied with hundreds of U.N. resolutions in the past,” Erdogan said in a speech to his party that was broadcast live on television.

“I want to ask the United Nations — how can a country, which continuously ignores resolutions of the U.N. Security Council be allowed to enter through the gates of the United Nations (headquarters)?”

[Whoops!  I thought he was talking about Iran for a moment there...  Anyway, PM Erdogan can answer his own question if he can riddle me this:  "How can Turkey---which  continues to not only ignore, but to openly defy the various U.N. resolutions calling for it to respect the sovereignty, independence and territorial rights of Cyprus, and to remove its troops forthwith---be allowed to enter through those very same gates?"  ]

It was not clear whether Erdogan suggested Israel should be temporarily barred from the United Nations headquarters or permanently.

Both Israel and Hamas have rejected a U.N. Security Council resolution to halt the fighting.

Turkish public opinion is increasingly hostile to Israel’s Gaza campaign launched with the declared aim of ending Hamas’s cross-border rocket attacks.

Erdogan accused Israel of mocking world leaders for firing at a United Nations’ Relief and World Agency (UNRWA) compound in Gaza on Thursday.

“Israel hit a U.N. building while the U.N. Secretary General (Ban Ki-moon) was in Gaza. This is openly challenging the world. This means Israel is making fun of the world. There must be no more casualties and this war must stop,” he said.

Ban, touring the region to win support for a ceasefire, will visit Ankara on Friday for talks with Erdogan and President Abdullah Gul.

Turkey, a U.S. ally and a NATO member, has strong military and strategic ties with Israel. Sales of Israeli military equipment to Turkey is estimated at $100 million annually and the two countries share vital security intelligence.

This just proves my oft made point that there are only two types of muslims: practicing and non-practicing.

Every muslim is potentially a single verse away from being a full blown, hate filled, fire in the eyes, weapon holding, frothing at the mouth jihadi.

The last time a moon god worshiper in charge of a country bad mouth Israel, there was magnitude 9 earthquake off Indonesia. The island of Samatha was moved a 100 feet, and over 250 thousand people lost their lives.

    Just saying.
