US President Barack Obama’s offer to talk to Iran shows that America’s policy of “domination” has failed, the government spokesman said on Saturday.
“This request means Western ideology has become passive, that capitalist thought and the system of domination have failed,” Gholam Hossein Elham was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.
“Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change,” he added.
After nearly three decades of severed ties, Obama said shortly after taking office this month that he is willing to extend a diplomatic hand to Tehran if the Islamic republic is ready to “unclench its fist”.
In response, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad launched a fresh tirade against the United States, demanding an apology for its “crimes” against Iran and saying he expected “deep and fundamental” change from Obama.
Iranian politicians frequently refer to the US administration as the “global arrogance”, “domineering power” and “Great Satan”.
Tensions with the United States have soared over Iran’s nuclear drive and Ahmadinejad’s vitriolic verbal attacks against Washington’s close regional ally Israel.
Former US president George W. Bush refused to hold talks with the Islamic republic — which he dubbed part of an “axis of evil” — unless it suspended uranium enrichment, and never took a military option to thwart Tehran’s atomic drive off the table.
The new administration of Obama has also refused to rule out any options — including military strikes — to stop Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Iran denies any plans to build the bomb and insists its nuclear programme is solely aimed at peaceful ends.

When Obama and his kumbaya supporters say mutual interest and respect it shouldn’t be hard to understand. We know what the muslims are all about. And considering that gitmo inmates have gone psychotic just by watching a Palmolive commercial we are going to have to sacrifice some of our rights values and traditions. Understanding that muslims are a male dominated society that consider women property who do you think will have to sacrifice first and most? Im listening to all of this coming from Obama and other supposedly smart people but I’m not really getting what they mean. Just how far are they willing to go? Does anyone think they have the spine to stand up for us or will they do what they think needs to be done in order to, get along?

Frankly, from what I have seen and heard from the Obama administration over, what has it been, 10 days, leads me to believe that we would be better off being led by little red riding hood. We are already hearing comparisons to Carter but let me assure you Obama is no Carter. Bet you didn’t think we would ever see the likes of Carter topped, or should I say bottomed, guess again folks.

Well Doc, Obama doesn’t appear to notice a lot of things. He is becoming famous for going back in American history to point out our wrongs conveniently skipping the parts that don’t fit. He sat in that church as his minister railed against even WWII America.
Let’s examine that, lets say the British were defeated at Tobruk, let’s imagine that it was Patton’s army that was destroyed by Rommel. Mussolini already had designs on Ethiopia even if his modern army had trouble against the Ethiopians with their spears and machetes. After the allies were swept aside the history of Africa would be a lot different and so I imagine would be the history of the world.
Whether or not Obama father’s side of the family survived would have been directly related to if or if not the fascists allowed them to join up. So really Obama owes everything, even his life, to the USA Britain Canada and Australia.

I have a message for mahmoud ahmadinejad and the rest of iran, obama does NOT speak for the majority of real Americans. If he did he would have told you to kiss my ass. In fact until obama proves he is a US citizen he has no right speaking to anyone about this country. In case the current administration hasn’t noticed, we are PISSED. We will not continue to take this crap from washington and we sure as hell are not taking any crap from some thug third rate country.
