New York: Founder and CEO of Muslim TV channel beheads wife
Founded TV network to combat negative perceptions of Muslims
Bridges TV founder and Chief Executive Muzzammil Hassan founded the TV network in 2004. According to a Reuters story at that time, “his wife came up with the idea in December 2001 while listening to the radio on a road trip.”:
“Some derogatory comments were being made about Muslims that offended her,” Hassan told Reuters ahead of Tuesday’s launch. “She was seven months pregnant, and she thought she didn’t want her kids growing up in this environment.”
So he founded Bridges TV to combat negative perceptions of Muslims.
But now that he has beheaded his wife, I’m afraid this prominent moderate Muslim will only be feeding those negative perceptions.

What a wonderful way to start the day. “Nothing to do
with islam”, “islam is peace”, “you guys made this up
because this site seethes with racist hate against
muslims”, “look at wikipedia to find out about real
islam” and so on. Who could make this stuff up, apart
from followers of the false prophet?

With that being said it’s quite telling that even a CEO of a TV / Radio corp can kill his wife in the name of islam or whatever…

At least he didn’t perform this act of “moderation” on his own network.
Koranists complain that “infidels” constantly strive to make them look bad but I submit that nobody does a better job of that than Koranists themselves. This fool is just the latest and most ironic example.

If I were a filmmaker I think I’d like to make my own version of “8 Heads in a Duffel Bag” featuring a main character named Mohammed. The opening title would say “Based on true events” and the script would virtually write itself. The reaction to it couldn’t be any worse to that about “Fitna”.

Doctor B, I was thinking of that one from Pakistan -
they aren’t too keen on going to their local mosque
to teach their fellows what “true” islam is – they’ll
likely lose their head.
If Muzzammil is tried, he will probably sue the
prosecution as he will be unable to cross examine
the victim, who will be unable to speak, due to not
having an attached head. Breach of “human rights” and all that.

To be fair a lot of people that are going through a divorce end up hurting and sometimes killing the other person due to the tension and emotions running through the whole process.
That said it does look bad because he cut her head off and other than O.J. little happy fun time with the ex that doesn’t usually happen in this country but it does in Islamic countries all the time. That and the fact that he started a “TV network to combat negative perceptions of Muslims” and one of the negative perceptions is that Muslims are violent especially to woman. then he violently kills his wife makes the whole thing almost amusing.

My brother’s wife was forced by my mother to wear scarf on her head when stepping out of the house. She was never happy about it but was not allowed to speak about it. She came to America from Pakistan. She wanted to live her life normally but was entangled in my brother’s house. Finally things got bad and she could not take it any longer. She left one day and my brother is still searching for her. He says he will kill her if he finds her. Is this how women are treated by Muslim men, why do Muslim men think they have the authority to impose on their wives, why do they force them to cover themselves up as if they were not aleady covered enough, why do expect them to be docile and just follow orders, is it that muslim men were created superior to muslim women or so they think ? why do think that a woman cannot have any dream, career, goals of her own. that her main objective is to sit at home after marriage. why is their mindset so damaged, so mutilated that they fail to see that a woman should be respected, treated with equality and allowed to advance professionally. that her wishes and goals should be heard and she should be considered an equal partner in marriage where she her opinions and wishes will also be given equal weightage as a man’s.

The quran gives instructions for muslim men to treat thier wives however they wish. We in the non muslim world are taught by many to treat women as equals in many cases.
This is a MAJOR difference between non muslims and mulsims we choose to love and cherish our women. We protect, train, teach and help women to be thier own person.
