How can he not know that the Austrian for “wheeling and dealing” is “ich bin ein verdammt Idiot”?
Oder, Herr Obama, “dealing and wheeling” würde man ins Deutsche als “intensive Verhandlung”, “Geschäftemacherei” oder “Kuhhandel” übersetzen. In Österreich würde man womöglich am ehesten “Mauschelei” dazu sagen.
