I found this little jewel and cannot resist making a few observations.

There is a new and fake version of the Qur’an or the Muslim Holy Book, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) warned Sunday, saying copies are being distributed particularly in the Middle East.
-Let me start by saying the koran should have been destroyed centuries ago but a re-working it could work in isolated areas. Arab muslims have oppressed non Arab muslims for centuries and despite claims to the contrary several versions of the koran are available. Different sects of islam recognize and follow different prophets and view mohammed role with a different level of importance. In areas not dependant of Arab monies this new and improved brand of islam could work on a limited basis. It might eliminate the call for violent jihad but would not save the muslim victims of islam. Women, children and individual rights will still be strictly controlled and power-hungry clerics will rule over their little islamic empires.
It is being presented as the “True Furqan” with two American printing companies allegedly involved in the fake Qur’an’s publication, the MILF’s website, luwaran.net, said.
The MILF stressed that “The Qur’an, which remained to this day exactly as it was more than 1,400 years ago, is held sacred by Muslims. Unlike the Christian Bible, the Qur’an has no versions, although there (are) many translations, including those done by “orientalists.”
-We have busted the myth of a single version of the koran before so I will ignore that distraction and toss this up. How do we know Americans are behind this and if we are who is doing it? American companies would be needed to print it as islamic companies would quickly be attacked but I want to know who is paying for this? Are my tax dollars being wasted on this effort? If so I demand it stop, somewhere a worthless non working liberal depends on my tax dollars to keep himself in an exorbitant lifestyle.
It said “orientalists are Christian scholars who studied Islam and the Qur’an, the motive of which is to undermine both.”
-Cute but not good enough of an answer. Who exactly designed this new and improved koran and where can I get a copy?
While true versions of the Qur’an and its English and other translations have 114 Surahs or chapters, it said the “True Furqan” also being billed as “The 21st Century Qur’an” has only “77 Surahs, which includes “Al-Fatiha, Al-Jana and Al-Injil.”
The MILF said that instead of the usual “Bismillah (In the Name of Allah), each Surah begins with a longer version of this incorporating the Christian belief of the “Holy Trinity.” It said the “True Furqan” has 366 pages and contains both Arabic and English languages.
-It would also have to point out the differences between the Trinity and the being called “allah” to actually follow Christian doctrine.
“It also opposes many Islamic beliefs. In one of its ayahs (verses) it describes having more than one wife as fornication, divorce being non-permissible and it uses a new system for the sharing out of the will, opposing the current one,” the Moro group said.
The fake “True Furqan” which is being sold for US$3 describes “Jihad” as “haram” or “prohibited.”
-I wonder if they still spin the murderous lunatic mohammed in a positive light. Until islamic clerics point out the flaws in mohammed and encourage muslims to ignore his criminal example and live in this century islam will remain just another cult and not a true religion.

Maybe I can shed some light on “The True Furqan”. It was written ten years ago by an Arab Christian in an attempt to put Christian doctrines into an Arabic poetic form that looked and sounded like the Quran. His theory was that it would be easier for Muslims to comprehend than the prose of the Bible.
Unfortunately, the resulting book is as disjointed and out of context as the Quran. It would have been much better to have just presented the Gospels as they were originally written.
It is interesting, however, that this fake Quran is still causing alarm in the Muslim world.

I still remember the buzz about this. This ‘quran’ was advertized on PTL and Paul & Jan Crouches TV program.
I was even crazy enough to buy a copy.
Chris is right. It is hard to read just like the quran and to me as a Westerner it is a Christian version of the quran with better morals and no war stories.

What a bunch of BS. The Christian Bible has “versions” because, like the Qur’an, those are the different “translations” of the original text.
Leave it to a Muzzie to play games and confuse the ignorant populace by obfuscating the word “version:”

When I first heard about “The True Furqan” I thought that if it really was pretending to be a Quran that it wouldn’t be fair, but then I actually found out about it & read some of it online (can’t find it now), & learned it is not pretending to be a translation of the Quran but is an evangelistic book written in obedience to Quran 2:23′s challenge: “And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (if there are any) besides Allah, if ye are truthful.”
That it is as disjointed & out of context is necessary to make surat “like thereunto.” The professing Christian involved in this project has been somewhat discredited (rightly or wrongly I don’t know) because of a personal incident, but I think the project is great, the Quran made the challenge!
On the side, I would definitely support my tax dollars going to distributing the *real* Quran (not the whitewashed translations Muslim groups offer) so that people can see what it *really* says. Now that would be a great idea, but of course it is haram so it will never happen.

ER: I WILL NOT SUPPORTY MY TAX DOLLARS GOING TO DISTRIBUTING THE *REAL* QURAN. I do not want my tax dollars to support anything that has to do with the muzzies except send them back to the middle east with pig’s blood dripping.

The sad truth is without a rewrite the muslim world will never change. The koran they are using now has inspired only generations of murderous thugs, forcing control over the populace. Only the greed of the clerics stops them from picking a new caliph. If they ever get a charismatic leader and unite we are in a real hurt. As long as the attack each other with the same ferocity they do others we can turn them back.

Ill agree to that.
IF islam was all about peace & love they would first love thier own and not kill eachother over sects.
But the cold reality is that as you said ronin they are too fragmented and without a ‘mahadi’ they will never amount to any real threat against the West except by birthrates and ‘dahwah’ of those too ignorant of islam to think for themselves.

The goal of Islam is to bring the world under Muslim rule. They have no boundaries. Any tactics are legitimate — including murder, of course, and trying to bring hell to earth. They have done a pretty good job of bringing hell to earth.
There is an Arabic word “Al-Toquah” which refers to a Muslim military doctrine. It advocates the use of deception to infiltrate the enemy and spread internal strife. > The USA <
This concept of Al-Toquah means any lie is OK that advances the territory of Islam.
