State senator accused of violence is stripped of leadership posts

Gee another democrat acting out. With his history of violence, I think the Secret Service should stop him from getting close to our beloved President and Senior staff. Clearly, this man is a threat a dangerous individual and could explode at any time. If you live near him, let me encourage you to get a concealed weapon permit. You have a right to self-defense.

10 May 09, the Buffalo News
NEW YORK — A state senator with a history of violent outbursts has been stripped of his leadership posts following allegations that he assaulted a New York Post photographer.
-I have to admit I am no fan of the press but as a committed pacifist I draw the line at violence (stop laughing Doc).

Sen. Kevin Parker, a Brooklyn Democrat, was arrested Friday night and charged with third-degree criminal mischief after the incident outside his parents’ home in the borough’s Flatbush section.
-With all the wonderful black politician-role models setting such a high bar for the larger Black community it is a wonder there is ever any black on black crime (sarcasm)

“I cannot allow my personal issues to distract the Senate from its important work in Albany,” Parker said in a statement.
-If it slows all the waste, socialism and criminal mismanagement of our tax dollars we can allow you a short break from your duties. Take some time off, get a class of tea and relax a while.

The trouble apparently began sometime after 7 p. m. when Post staff photographer William Lopez staked out the house for an article about how Parker was having trouble paying his mortgage.
-Outrageous! A US Senator not paying his mortgage? President Obama where the hell were you? Pay this mans mortgage. Where is the damn bailout? (more sarcasm)

Lopez said he snapped off just one shot from the street before Parker saw the flash, became enraged and charged at him.

“I turned around and ran and he was actually catching up to me,” Lopez told the Post. “I turned a corner and ran half a block and he’s chasing me the entire way.”
-Clearly, this was a hate crime. A violent black anti Latino thug attempting to do bodily harm to a hard working and dedicated young professional. We must turn back the hate and build bridges of understanding. Working together, we can erase the hate and …Ok, now I am making myself sick.

Then, according to the photographer, the solidly built lawmaker gave up the chase and sat down on the hood of Lopez’s car. When the photographer got behind the wheel, “he reached in and grabbed my camera,” Lopez said.
-Damn thief, I would say let him buy his own camera but if he cannot pay his mortgage then he could not afford a camera.

The two struggled in the front seat for the equipment.
-I warned you all plenty of times about the thieves in DC, granted strong arm robbery is new but with the economy being ran in the ground by the democratic controlled congress this should have been expected. Keep your wallets close and carry a concealed weapon, it is dangerous in the DC area.

“He ripped the door panel off my car with his legs. He tore out my flash,” he said.
-This is just getting worse he is also a cannibal.

Police said Parker was taken to a precinct station, booked and then released.
-Outrageous, blacks are often abused by overzealous racist white cops. The brother just wanted a little camera, no call for police harassment. I demand Al Sharpton lead a protest.

Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith issued a statement Saturday saying he had stripped Parker of his positions as majority whip and chairman of the energy committee. He also suspended the extra pay that Parker normally gets for his leadership position.
-A stupid move, he is stealing because he cannot afford the house that president Obama promised him and they take money away? Pay his mortgage Mr. President.

Parker said in a statement later Saturday that he agreed with the decision. “I will remain engaged in the important issues before the Senate . . . and continue to work to create opportunity for the residents of the 21st District in these difficult economic times.”
-I just hope he does not encourage the rest of congress to rob, mug or beat people. Let them earn their own way with another job. Prostitution would be a great second job, that way congressional representatives can screw us all twice.

The encounter was the latest in a string of reported assaults involving Parker, who has held office since 2002. In 2005 he was arrested on charges he punched a traffic agent who was writing him a ticket. The charges were dropped after Parker agreed to take an anger management class.
-The class was a failure but they do tend to work better if you actually attend them.

Great post, unfortunately, he’s a NY state senator, not US, hence move all the DC references to Albany and NYC.

    Sarcasm still applies.

I had caught that but I dislike US congressmembers more than state ones so …

Besides arming yourself in DC is still a good idea

      Cheers
