Yes, we need your continued prayers and miracles. (Thank you for those who had already begun praying without knowing just what it was for, but knowing that God knew and would hear your prayers) Our daughter and her daughter(our grandaughter) were in a serious accident yesterday in which the car flipped over three times.
It can only be said that it is miracle of God they are not dead. Our daughter went out the side window and miraculously escaped serious injuries although she is banged up pretty bad and her daughter basically mangled and “fileted” her fingers on her left hands , along with her many bumps and bruises.
At first they thought they were going to have to amputate three of her fingers. They helicoptered her to the best hospital in MO for surgery. She will have to have several more surgeries, and skin grafts, and therapy,. She is 15 years old.
I was surprised when the doctor told me that “We are not God”…but we will do the best we can for her. We cannot guarantee that her hand and fingers will be like they were before”. I told him “but we can pray that God will guide the surgeon’s hands.” We have spent the last two days at the hospital.
She was here and our daughter was in the hospital where the accident happened some 120 miles away, so Doc went to be with our daughter (his sister) and to bring her to the hospital here to be with her daughter. Our granddaughter will go in for her second surgery on this Thursday to have skin grafts and pins put in her fingers, so I am asking for your prayers for her healing and for both of their awareness of just who kept His hand upon them through all of this.
