Did Yeshua Give us the name of the anti-christ?
No Compromise has posted an interesting video that translates the following New Testament Bible verse into Aramaic and Hebrew:
Luke 10:18 – He (Yeshua) said to them, “I saw Satan having fallen like lightning (baraq ) from heaven [high places] (bamah ).
Being somewhat skeptical, I looked up the translation in my Strong’s Concordance, and oh my gosh! It’s right!
From Strong’s Hebrew and Aramaic Dictionary:
ברק – baraq: (#1299, 1300, and 1301) – lightning; by analogy a gleam; concr. a flashing sword—lightning {14x}
במה – bamah: (#1116 and 1117) – from an unused root (mean. to be high); an elevation: —high place {100x}, heights {1x}
VERY interesting coincidence…

It seems almost yearly that the AC is named by somebody in the Christian Church.
I guess time till tell if Obama is the actual ante-christ.

That is extremely interesting.
Then again I pretty much saw him that way without having a lot of knowledge of Hebrew and general theological matters, other than I thought ‘baruch’ meant blessing(?????)
Still,,the vowel is different and I know that some Hebrew is written without the vowels: just the consonants.
I’ll defer to the scholars!

It is unlikely that Obama would be accepted as “moshiach”, promising to bring geula / redemption to Israel, or that he would sit in the rebuilt Temple showing himself to be god and demanding to be worshipped as god.
(search geula + moshiach among other things)
Most of those that islams not for me notes have been named as antichrist (eg Pope, Kennedy, Reagan, Blair,
Kissinger and so on) can be ruled out as “suspects”, unless they are likely to be accepted as “moshiach”.
A catholic moshiach (pope) is unlikely, IMO. Same for
Obama and others. Not even Menahem Schneerson, who some believe is moshiach – he is dead, and will remain so.

I had a quick look at the link, but again as far as the Antichrist is concerned, Putin would be unlikely to be accepted as “moshiach”, and unlikely to enter a peace treaty that would “guarantee” Israel the right to restore the legal & sacrificial system / rebuild the Temple.
This, on WND today, is closer…

… the Temple is a pre-requisite – it must be rebuilt before Antichrist can sit in it, demanding to be worshipped as god (etc).

He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

My son and his wife live in a part of my capital city that I call the “ghetto”. It’s where you go when you want some good bagels
Common knowledge here.
There are lots of synagogues and a yeshiva there, and Friday night you can see all the Orthodox Jews walking home from their synagogues: fur hats, the whole thing.
Outside many of their institutions are signs that “Mosiach is coming”.
I think “Mosiach” means “Messiah” not anti-Christ according to one of my orthodox friends.
Maybe I am confused??

Gramfan, I’ve enjoyed a few treats from the shops in that area, & feel quite safe there among the locals (not the ferals), & did see a “Moshiach is coming” sign a decade ago.
Moshiach does mean Messiah, and when he appears, he won’t claim to be Antichrist, but will have an associated (false) prophet to “validate” him as Messiah.
Unfortunately, he is not the Messiah – Jesus Christ is the Messiah, & anyone else is a fake.
Only Jesus Christ can provide “geula” or redemption, through His death and resurrection …
Islam denies that Jesus Christ was crucified, & “allah” has no son. Jews look forward to a messiah who will bring peace to the world, reigning from the temple in Jerusalem. Biblically, he will enter into a treaty with the Jews to let them restore the legal & sacrificial system, but will renege on the treaty & ultimately lead the nations in an attempt to destroy Israel (“Armageddon”).
Antichrist & False Prophet will be cast alive into the lake of fire – I assume Mo will be there too.
We are heading straight into the “perfect storm”.

Just search on the headline to read the article – the Altar, as well as the Temple are requirements for restoring the legal & sacrificial system in Israel, and providing Antichrist a temple to rule from.

Needless to say, where there are a few facts thrown into this video, the connections are all dubious. No modern linguist or scholar of any alignment would endorse this stretch of a claim.

I hope I didn’t give you the impression that I thought the area was dangerous because of the Jewish population.
It’s quite the contrary actually. There have been many assaults on Jews that have not been reported.
Two high-profile ones were: outside the Caulfield race course and the one outside Glick’s bakery which I am sure you know about.

Not at all Gramfan, & the only dangerous things I find in that area are the ferals attracted by the bright lights – drug users & dealers & so on. I haven’t been exploring there for a few years, so I don’t remember the names, but enjoy the food & ambience. I’ll keep Glick’s in mind
