Muslim community gathers to support Fort Hood victims

Damage control or a real attempt at building bridges of understanding. I would suspect both. Many of the muslims donating time and money no doubt do feel ashamed to be linked to the Fort Hood shooter even if only by religion. Like most things islam, there is another part to this story. The group heading this up is well known in the political islam circles, with historic links to radical islamic groups and radical Saudi’s (we can argue if there is another kind later). The suspicions of political damage control cannot be easily dismissed in this case.

FLINT TOWNSHIP (WJRT) — (11/09/09)–The Muslim community in greater Flint wants to do its part to support the families of those affected by last Thursday’s shooting rampage at Fort Hood.
-I found this article while looking over countless others asking people not to assume just because the shooter was a suspected radical muslim. Or just because he had a history of preaching radical islamic ideology to other muslim solders, or that he expressed to his chain of command that he did not want to fight other muslims that we should not assume that his religion had a part in his sudden attack. I will give into the innocent until proven guilty in a court of law routine because that is the way our legal system works but elimination of the shooters potential motivation based on pattern analysis because some groups feeling might be hurt is cowardly and unnecessary.

The Flint Islamic Center is working together with a national group to raise money for those directly impacted by the Fort Hood tragedy.
-Stated like that it would also include the shooters family.

Abed Khirfan is the managing director of the Flint Islamic Center, the largest Muslim center in Genesee County.

“As Americans our hearts are out to the families of the victims and the whole community of Fort Hood,”
-What about as “muslims?” No doubt, some muslims would celebrate the shooters promotion from American soldier to jihadi. I have seen a few articles highlighting American muslims wishing to use this tragedy to gain ten minutes of fame for honoring the major but I am not in the habit of posting radical islamic propaganda so if you want to see it, go google it.

The group is looking to become one of the many support systems being set up to help the families of those killed or hurt by alleged gunman Major Nidal Malik Hasan.
-Catch the “alleged” common in these stories but more for legal protection of the news agency and not for the benefit of the islamic community.

Khirfan and the FIC are working with parent organization the Islamic Society of North America, the largest Muslim umbrella organization in the U.S. and Canada.
-I can only speculate as to the motives of the individual muslims donating but I am very familiar with the motivation behind the ISNA.

They’re trying to raise money for the newly established Fort Hood Family Fund. The group is hoping to raise between $10,000 and $20,000 locally.
-Cheap way to cut the cost of adverting for their organization.

You, too, can make donations to the Fort Hood Family Fund by sending them to the ISNA Headquarters in Indiana or the Fort Hood Family Fund.

To help: www.forthoodfamilyfund.com
Or write to: ISNA Headquarters

I would be wrong not to mention that you can also give to other charities with no connection to questionable islamic groups. The American Red Cross and the Wounded Warrior Foundation easily come to mind. You can always volunteer your time at your local VA. Whatever you decide to do, always check into where your money goes and know whom you support with your donations. Follow your own conscience.

    IT’S DAMAGE CONTROL

    It’s a coordinated approach.

    1. use terror to confuse enemy, and make it more vulnerable to propaganda.
    2. use propaganda while he’s confused and vulnerable. to ingratiate yourself to your intended victim.
    3. repeat as necessary until victim submits or is eliminated.

UPDATE ON “SOLKHAR” – WHO IS HE, ANYWAY?

He claims to be affiliated with …
    http://www.tanmia.ma/article.php3?id_article=6385
And, if you do a “who is” search, here
    http://www.who.is/website-information/tanmia.ma/
…on the root URL I highlighted in bold, above (with “information” as the selected output), you get a list of other websites hosted on that server Looking down the page, you find PJD also hosted there…
    http://www.pjd.ma/ar/
…which is, as I posted on another thread, spawn of the Muslim Brotherhood (a kind of Moroccon CAIR equivalent).

Based on that association, it’s no wonder Solkhar is so proficient at the various propaganda techniques I’ve seen him use here. In case you’re wondering, he’s a part of step (2), above. Oh, and they also belittle any attempts to identify them with those in step (1), naturally.

    • Ronin Says:

Gee and I thought he was the mythical moderate muslim. No wonder all his excuses sounded like fairy tales.

    • Solkhar Says:

Cool, yeah sure, servers show who you are, ….. get a life! What association? There is about as much correlation with that as your own with the stack of magic mushrooms that you obviously have in the cupboard.

PJD is a political party, CAIR is certainly not. PJD is the third largest political party here, committed to making things more conservative and will never have a chance of winning elections. The two major parties would rather form a coalition together, let alone with the other 15 parties.

Though they have proven themselves not to be linked to radicals and extremists (they were involved in the anti-salafist reprisals after the terrorist activities here) they are still disdained by the majority of Moroccans because simply put – the people are happy with the existing moderate level of religous influence in the country.

What they certainly have not, is a link to the Brotherhood in Egypt which if was the case would have them shut-down. Oh, fyi, Morocco and Egypt have a pretty piss-poor relationship.

    DON’T GIVE TO ISLAMIC “CHARITIES!”

Remember, right after 9/11 CAIR was collecting for the victims, through the HolyLandFoundation.

“But the most glaring CAIR solicitation for HLF came after the 9/11 atrocities. The appeal, titled “what you can do for the victims of the WTC and Pentagon attacks,” appeared on CAIR’s website for over a month26 and urged people to donate to HLF among other charities.27″

DO NOT TRUST THE ISLAMIC GROUPS. GIVE TO PEOPLE YOU TRUST (investigate first, then give, but stay away from any Islamic “charity.”)

Here’s a report from one of Solkhar’s favorite “hate sites” about what Muslims really support…

…where the blogger links to another of Solkhar’s most hated websites…

…because it so “grossly distorts” the message of Islam.

    Yeah, right!

Good article at JihadWatch about how some of the muslims at Hasan’s Texas mosque believe that, while Hasan pulled the trigger, really the army has to examine what it does to cause this sudden snap. Couldn’t possibly be precipitated by anything in the Koran, right???

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2009/11/muslim-at-fort-hood-blames-army-command-for-jihad-massacre.html

I’m concerned about the muslims that went to Hasan for counseling. Likely they also attend that mosque.

If muslims want to quietly give to charities that help, fine. But to set one up and get lots of publicity, I’m suspicious of motive; especially since it’s connected to ISNA. I mean, really.

Solkhar has always been a muslim posing as a liberal. I recognized that in the beginning, the pushy, bossy, dictatorial hall monitor, the brown nosing of élites err site big wigs. the usual. You can tell that on many occasions he she doesn’t like having to debate us instead of just telling us what to do and us doing it. And as he or she continued to be challenged he she began to show it even more.

The only thing that surprised me is finding out he was Dutch, he seemed like a typical ME muslim not a white Euro convert. I’m sure you noticed I said she, some of the spelling or really the misspelling of words he she writes I generally see muslimas use. I’ve also sometimes wondered if Dutch is actually several people. And then I say, no, he she is beginning to lose patience, his Dr Jekyll image is wearing thin and occasionally Mr. Hyde is beginning to come to the surface.

PS Ronin, he’s mad at you cause you rejected him, awww.

    Yonason said regarding Suckhard,
“it’s no wonder Solkhar is so proficient at the various propaganda techniques I’ve seen him use here.”
Obviously not too proficient, everyone here shuts him down or ignores hime when he comes here. Shoot, it’s kinda fun.
I see a lot of that on websites and blogs; fishing for sympathizers, no doubt, but Yonason, it seems to me he’s not all that proficient at what he does.
Maybe because we are not as stupid as he seems to believe.

  9. Bob Says:

MSNBC on Newsvine this AM has the following headline:
“Healer-in-chief Obama heads to Fort Hood”
    Is that sickening or what?
    The comments are interesting, though.

    • yonason Says:

      “Healer-in-chief” my #@^%.

No, Wait. You know they may have something there. Instead of keeping a bottle of Ipecac in the medicine cabinet, keep copies of that kind of MSM drek, and whenever you need a purgative, just read a few stories. I know that after reading just that headline, I have an urge to purge.

By “proficient” I meant that he uses ‘every trick in the book’, as if they come naturally to him. And I agree that he’s not successful because, as you say, “we are not [so] stupid,”, i.e., we’ve educated ourselves, and so we know what to look for.

tgusa 9 November, 2009 at 10:51 pm makes some excellent observations on a few of Solkhar’s methods, indicating a very clear understanding of how manipulators behave. That is, after all, one of the deviant personality type that Islam selects for.

    • tgusa Says:

Those are my thoughts on it as well yonason. It’s almost as if they all use the same manual.

All we hear is that these muslims don’t represent islam. But none ever dare say straight up that they are unislamic. Its spin, the same type of spin that we see almost exclusively. The jihadists represent allah who is worshipped islam so in a way, no they don’t represent islam its bigger than that and that’s why none dare call it unislamic and live to tell about it. Apostates don’t run wild in crapistan jihadis do.

Besides, one mans jihad is another mans dawa.

    Spin it, Solkhar! Start Chernobyling.

  12. Solkhar Says:

    LOL, LMAO, ROFL!

Jumping to the first conspiracy theory you can go on.

SoA is a congenative psychology term, SWT is the University of South West Texas that Maj Hasan had qualifications from (Southwest Texas State University Department of Educational Administration and Psychological Services).

    What a goofball!
