Anti-Muslim images are protected speech

MINNEAPOLIS – Two Minnesota prosecutors say they won’t file charges against a man who investigators say admitted posting anti-Muslim images in front of a mosque, a Somali-owned store and other spots.
-I am occasionally (daily) accused of being racist, biased, and intolerant but I do not believe them. I do not stand in front of mosques or harass muslims. If they want to get my opinion of their cult then they have to enter my world.

They say the cartoons are protected under the First Amendment.
-I worry much more about the second one because it helps guarantee the first will remain on the books.

The posters put up last month in the St. Cloud area depicted images such as the Prophet Muhammad engaged in bestiality and an Islamic crescent with a swastika inside it.
-Bestiality? Why not show the truth’ his rape of a nine year old as disgusting as it was depicts just one of his numerous crimes and perversions, no need to make up anything.

Some in the community say there should be legal consequences. But the chief prosecutors in both counties where the cartoons were found said they must be considered free speech.
-How about legal consequences for islamic clerics spewing hatred, or democrats spending other folks money.

Stearns County Attorney Janelle Kendall called it a “classic First Amendment case.” Benton County Attorney Robert Raupp says religious criticism is protected speech, even if it is offensive.
-Amen brother, preach on.
