Well, at least someone is paying attention to the U.S. Constitution:
Judge’s ruling ends Seattle’s gun ban

SEATTLE – A Judge has just ruled that the city of Seattle ban on guns on city property is illegal, effectively ending the ban.
The 2nd Amendment Foundation, the National Rifle Association, and several individuals, including a gay rights activist and a Department of Corrections worker sued the City of Seattle and former Mayor Greg Nickels in October. They demanded the city repeal a controversial ban on guns in places like parks and community centers.
The individual plaintiffs say they’re suing not just on principal, but because they now “fear for their safety”, according to their lawsuit.
King County Superior Court Judge Catherine Shaffer made the ruling today after the plaintiff’s filed a motion for Summary Judgment and prevailed.
Mayor Mike McGinn issued the following statement:
“I am disappointed in today’s ruling. Cities should have the right to restrict guns in playgrounds, pools and community centers where children are present. The court’s ruling was based on a state law, RCW 9.41.290, which preempts Seattle from regulating the possession of firearms. It’s time for the state Legislature to change that law.”
Do you hear that? That sound is the incessant whining of a Progressive Libtard Commie. They always were sore losers…

Isn’t strange Commies have no problem breaking the law? Like supporting illegal aliens. That has to cost the American tax payer in that city a ton.

My thought exactly. They won’t enforce laws that are constitutional but they will make new ones that are unconstitutional and try to enforce those. The other day I read an article dealing with Norcal and a city there that has been overun by illegals and the violence that comes with them. The police are telling the people, who have been posting on the net that they want to arm themselves while walking the streets, to keep their cell phone in their hand and be ready to call the police instead. A better idea is just get rid of the police whats the sense in having them around?
And I am sick of the chillen stuff. The world is not the progs nursery school and given that their kids are unmanageable I suggest they stay home and keep their cell phones handy. Tards.

The whole reason for the law was that there was a rash of shootings in public parks where young gang bangers hang out.
But instead of getting rid of the gangs they tried to get rid of the guns…

East Palo Alto Detective: 2nd Amendment advocates? Mow em down! I lived in EPA for a time back when it was the murder capitol of the USA. Makes sense now.

The government that fears your gun will also fear your vote eventually. This is the way of tyrants.
