California: Judge Rules that God is Allowed Back in the Classroom
Well, this is refreshing—and from California, nonetheless:

POWAY — Federal Court: A federal judge ruled that Poway school officials violated the constitutional rights of a math teacher when they ordered him to take down classroom banners that referred to God.
Judge Roger Benitez said teacher Bradley Johnson is entitled to a declaration that his First Amendment rights were violated by the Poway Unified School District.
He also said in a ruling Friday that Johnson should get damages of $10 from each of nine officials he named in a lawsuit filed in 2007.
Benitez also ordered the district to allow Johnson to rehang the banners in his classroom.
The banners are about 7 feet wide and 2 feet tall. One has the phrases “In God We Trust,” “One Nation Under God,” “God Bless America” and “God Sheds His Grace On thee.”
A second reads “All Men Are Created Equal, They Are Endowed By Their Creator,” with the last word in uppercase letters.
The district said it had to come down on Johnson because the banners advocated a Judeo-Christian point of view that was not in sync with the nonreligious mission of public schools.
Benitez said the district allows other teachers to post things on a variety of religious and nonreligious topics without penalty.
He said the action against Johnson amounted to discriminating against a particular point of view, which courts have long said is not permitted.

The courts can take the ten bucks and stuff it. Ten bucks, thats a message in of itself. The people who obey the laws want no part of what the courts have become. Eventually those who don’t obey the law will come for these people and really I could care less. People are all up in arms here cause a registered sex offender murdered a 17 year old girl in Poway. I’m not, this is what the people here wanted they should just get used to it. Don’t ask for my sympathy take it up with the courts.

Ouch! Remind me not to piss you off, lol!
P.S. – Sorry about your comment winding up in my “Awaiting Moderation” queue. I don’t know what’s up with that.
Cheers

Thats ok. I get that awaiting moderation a lot lately. I don’t want to appear heartless but sympathy after the fact helps no one and really I think it justs allows this stuff to continue. If people really cared their actions would show it. Besides, remember the Compton Cookout? Put together by Jigaboo Jones who tried to claim credit but SDSU insists on fulmenting racial animosity and would have none of it.
Also, recently a noose was found in the campus library, a witch hust ensued. Turns out it was one of those false flag operations and the guilty party finally confessed. Of couse the identity of the guilty party remains unknown, to perotect the guilty.
That was actually my first thought, that this girl had become a victim of institutionalized liberal smear tactics. This stuff is not happening by accident, it has been carefully planned.

“a noose was found in the campus library”
Yeah, I’m starting to think that the culprit was a black student. Why? Because if the student were white, you just KNOW that the Lame Stream Media would be broadcasting his/her picture all over the place.
I could be wrong, but it is odd that the the Lame Stream Media has suddenly grown a conscience in this particular case.

I learned how to make a noose in school, didn’t everyone? I think it had a lot to do with movies like Hang Em High, Judgment at Nuremburg, stuff like that. Do kids today get in trouble for playing hangman? Cause I learned how to spell a lot of new words playing that game.

Sadly, Nuremberg was not one of them.

I, myself, have made many a hangman’s noose since my youth. I even made one, complete with a scaffold, for a haunted house in California.
Considering that, historically, more whites were hung via the noose than blacks, I fail to see what the problem is.
So what if the KKK used a noose. They used guns, too. And, knifes, pitchforks, fists…you name it.
Interesting that just a plain stupid rope in the shape of a noose gets the Libtards’ panties all in a bunch.
Maybe next time, when someone wants to make a statement via a noose, they should hang a white effigy. That will draw zero, nada, zilch protests from the Libtards.
Of course, Libtards could learn a lot from the Christians and actually embrace said symbol.
Yeah, that would be lots of fun: Libtards walking around with a little gold noose hanging from their necks…
Heeheeheeheehee.

Interesting times we face. Mao, Che, and Stalin images are displayed prominently in campaign offices, classrooms, and campuses, but the word ‘God’ instills hatred and name calling. Beyond pathetic. God help us!

I had not thought of it that way, but you raise and excellent point.
The gods of the Godless Commies…
