The Puerto Rico Act Vote is Today!
Democrats rushing through Puerto Rico power grab
From the Conservative Examiner and Robert Moon
Quietly sailing through the House this week is yet another piece of partisan stealth legislation aimed at manufacturing more Democrat power at the expense of the American people, the economy and the country.
This time, it’s the Puerto Rico Democracy Act (H.R. 2499). It would force Puerto Rico to vote on U.S. statehood and is designed to stack the deck in favor of statehood, going even as far as to require the territory to vote every eight years until statehood is accepted.

No surprise to me, another tactic of the Socialist/ Communist movement is to keep hitting the opposition fast and hard over and over so it’s difficult to return blows or recover. The hard up DemocRATS would pick up 2 Senate seats and 6 Representatives if they can dupe the Puerto Rican electorate into this devious plan. Most Puerto Ricans I know are Very hard working, honest, religious, and family oriented. The DemocRATS will go into the poor neighborhoods and promise these folks the ‘moon and the stars’. In my opinion the people on that beautiful island know what is best and what will work for them.

1. This has nothing to do with ‘moon and stars’, by which I assume you mean Islam
2. In his ridiculous diatribe, insane though it was, glenn beck specifically singled out republicans that were in favor of the bill. This is not a “Socialist/ Communist movement” on the part of the “DemocRATS”.
3. This bill does not impose statehood on Puerto Rico, it offers a vote. You can argue, as glenn beck does, that the questions are loaded, but you can’t argue that anyone, democrats or otherwise, are attempting to force Puerto Rico into becoming a state.

No offense, but for someone who is obviously quite well learned (I would have said, “erudite,” but that would have implied that you lacked your natural aura of rudeness), you can be hilariously nescient sometimes.
To “promise these folks the ‘moon and the stars’” is an idiom which means to promise them anything and everything. It has nothing whatsoever to do with Islam.
Cheers

I don’t think Big Frank was meaning Islam, he seemed to be inferring about entitlements to minorities. The kind Obama keeps giving like cell phones. He was not meaning Islam.
You appear to have a big chip on your shoulders Jeremiah. Do you go by the name Sokar the follower of Mohamed, and Allah the moon god?
Now, when I write about moon god worship, I write about the crescent moon on Mosques the sign of the false god Allah. The moon god.
Don’t stay up to late. A true Muslim must get ready to fight the infidel.

You caught me. I do in fact go by the name “Sokar the follower of Mohamed, and Allah the moon god”.
Thank you for your concern about my sleeping habits though. Don’t really know how much of it was sarcastic, but appreciated nonetheless.

At least that explains why your posts go into limbo land. We can scroll through and un-block you but it will take some time.

Thank you, my reference “moon and stars” was to illustrate the habit and practice of office seekers and politicians of always promising way more than they could ever deliver. Go back through the press releases, political adds, and the newspaper interviews, and one will see many promises are not even put on the table, much less delivered.

Oops, sorry for the misunderstanding, I’m not familiar with the expression. In that case I humbly retract my first point.

NO problem.
