Yup, as much as Muzzie Apologists wish to distance Islam from pedophilia, the fact remains that Muhammad married a 7-year-old girl and consummated the marriage with her when she was still just a 9-year-old prepubescent child.

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP- via FoxNews) — The marriage took place at one of the Nigerian capital’s most recognizable landmarks, under the golden dome of the National Mosque in front of an audience of the elite.
But the recent wedding of one of the Muslim leaders who brought Shariah law to Africa’s most populous nation is under scrutiny as human rights groups say he married a 13-year-old Egyptian girl.
As authorities investigate Senator Ahmad Sani Yerima, the marriage is drawing fresh questions about the role of religion in a country of 150 million people split between Christians and Muslims.
Yerima, 49, arranged the marriage with the girl after paying her family a $100,000 dowry, according to a complaint filed by the Nigerian Human Rights Commission in April. Initially, Yerima couldn’t arrange a visa for the girl to travel from Egypt to Nigeria, so he instead brought the girl through neighboring Niger, said Chidi Odinkalu, a lawyer for works for the open Society Justice Initiative.
That leaves Yerima open to human trafficking charges, as well as possible child-sex and endangerment charges, the lawyer said.
“You don’t need the Quran or the Bible to get this,” Odinkalu said. “I think most people, irrespective of the cleavage between the two faiths, wouldn’t marry off their 13 year old.”
[Why throw Christianity into the breast of the matter mix? Could it be because Mr. Odinkalu is trying to somehow legitimize Islam, or could he not find enough Muslims who would actually have the moral fiber to refuse marrying off their 13-year-old daughters if presented with a large enough dowry?]
Yet 30 members of the girl’s family attended the ceremony at the National Mosque, the human rights commission said. It’s unclear who else attended the wedding. Ustaz Musa Mohammed, the chief imam of the National Mosque, could not be reached for comment.

Under child protection laws enforceable in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, a woman must be 18 before being able to consent to marriage. However, those laws aren’t enacted in all of Nigeria’s 36 states and activists say child brides have been married off in Muslim communities after their first period.

It also isn’t the first time Yerima has apparently married a child bride. The right commission alleged that he married a 15-year-old girl, only to divorce her at 17 as she nurses his child.
“The senator is in the habit of marrying minors and has gained notoriety in enticing girls to marry him,” the commission said.

Yerima himself appears unrepentant in recent interviews, though he has declined to say how old his new wife is.
“As a Muslim, as I always say, I consider God’s law and that of his prophet above any other law,” Yerima told the BBC’s Hausa language radio service. “I will not respect any law that contradicts that and whoever wants to sanction me for that is free to do that.”

Religion has played an integral part in Yerima’s political career. As Nigeria came out of a string of military dictatorships and into democracy in 1999, Yerima was elected as governor of Zamfara state in northern Nigeria. There, Islam has been the dominate religion since Muslim warriors on horseback claimed the territory in the early 1800s.
When he became governor, Yerima was one of the first politicians to champion the idea of putting a Shariah court system in place, which rules based on Islamic civil law. Now, more than a dozen northern states allow Shariah law, something that Nigeria’s Christian south warily accepted — if at all. Rioting and violence over the introduction of Shariah law left thousands dead.

But those who have brought the allegations against Yerima are struggling not to make it a religious debate in a nation where killings over faith still happen. The Senate is investigating Yerima over allegedly breaking the law, while other agencies are examining whether he illegally brought the child bride into the country.

“He’s breached the law. It’s not about faith,” said Iheoma Obibi, executive director of Alliances for Africa, a human rights group. “In the campaign with the sisters from the north, we’ve been very careful not to address this in the religious situation.”
The whereabouts of the Egyptian girl remain unknown.
“She should be in school,” Obibi said. “She shouldn’t be rolling off your bed.”

I whole heartedly agree a young girl who is 6-17 years old needs to be in school, get her education and be prepared to be woman according to her culture.

Until the “politically correct” world opens their eyes this will spread like a virus. It is only the beginning. I urge all parents to look at their 12 and 13 year old daughters–now honestly ask yourself, would you marry her off to a 50 year old man (or older)? Islam is a sick society and they are trying to impose it on the entire free world. We must stop them–now!

NIli is not so much a ‘society’ but an entire cult-ure and system that acts as a disease. It destroys everything from within and its corrupt tenants come directly from muhammad himself.
How do we stop islam as a system?
We build up our local, Federal laws to keep away sharia laws and we tighten tougher punishments to keep muslims inline as long as they live within Western countries.
If they dont like our laws, ways of life they can go live in Arabia for all I care…

The problem is not Islam, the problem is underage marriage. There’s also a huge issue with pedophilia in the Catholic church, but you don’t have to declare war on and eradicate the church in order to fix the problem.

Let me see here… Christians are called “Christians” because they are followers of Christ and attempt to be “Christ-like” in their daily lives. Christ didn’t tell them that it was okay to rape little kids, nor did Christ rape little kids. A pedophile would be hard pressed to justify his/her perversion by citing Jesus Christ and His teachings. (Well… They might try to play games and claim that Christ said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me,” but that would be a gross misinterpretation of that passage—obviously).
Therefore, it is NOT Christ-like to rape little kids. Nor is it Christ-like to cover up such vile activity. Just as being in a garage does not make one a car, being in a church does not make one a Christian.
Now, let’s take a look at Islam.
The Qur’an says:
“Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah [Muhammad] a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.” – Qur’an 33:21
And,
“And thou [Muhammad] (standest) on an exalted standard of character.” – Qur’an 68:4
Furthermore, the Qur’an says on numerous occasions that Muslims must obey Muhammad, putting him on equal footing with Allah:
“O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger [Muhammad], and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger [Muhammad], if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination. ” Qur’an 4:59 (3:132) (4:13) (4:69) (4:80) (9:71) (24:52) (24:54) (24:56) (33:71) (49:14) (64:12)
So, we have established that Muhammad is a “beautiful pattern of conduct” for Muslims and must be obeyed, just as one would obey Allah. Furthermore, we have established that if there is a difference of opinion amongst Muslims, they must refer it to Allah and Muhammad. Since Muslims aren’t in direct communication with Allah (Muhammad was the last and final prophet—”There will be no prophet after me” – Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 732—any Muslim who claims to have talked with Allah is considered a blasphemer) and Muhammad is dead, the only way they can refer a doctrinal disagreement to Allah and Muhammad is by referring to the Qur’an, the Sirah (the history of Muhammad and Islam (al-Tabari is a good one)), or the Hadiths (the sayings of Muhammad).
Alright, so let’s see what Allah and his false prophet have to say about pedophilia:
The Qur’an, in discussing waiting periods for divorces, says:
“And (as for) those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, if you have a doubt, their prescribed time shall be three months, and of those too who have not had their courses; and (as for) the pregnant women, their prescribed time is that they lay down their burden; and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah He will make easy for him his affair.” – Qur’an 65:4
“Those too who have not had their courses” is referring to prepubescent brides, or, “child brides,” if you prefer.
So, Allah says it’s alright to rape little girls.
What about Muhammad? Well, we all know about Aisha:
Narrated ‘Aisha:
that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death). (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64)
Depending on which Hadith you read, Muhammad was anywhere from 60 to 65 years old when he died. I think he was closer to 65 years old when he died. So, using a little math; he married her when she was six years old, and he was 53.
So, this “beautiful pattern of conduct” and “exalted standard of character” married a six or seven-year-old child and raped her when she was only 9-years-old and he was 56. That’s pretty disgusting, really…
In conclusion, Child marriages ARE ABSOLUTELY ISLAMIC. Not so with Christianity.
Therefore, your fatuous attempt at a “tu quoque” argument justifying pedophilia in Islam by equating it with Christianity is nothing more than pure speciousness and rings of abject desperation on your part.

Oh please, and Christians who keep slaves and kill non-believers are just following the words of their god.
They did it in the past but they don’t do it anymore, so why do you consider that to be impossible for Muslims?
