Interesting that she chose to go against her own religious beliefs and wear an actual swimsuit in her fervency to win… So, when do you think the death threats from offended Muzzies will begin?

Rima Fakih, Miss Michigan USA, who will compete in Sunday Night’s pageant broadcast on NBC, is a Dearbornistan Shi’ite Muslim who is a supporter of Hezbollah and used the pageant name at a forum promoting Islamic subjugation of women. She was born in the Hezbollah stronghold of Srifa in South Lebanon, which Israel was forced to attack in the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war because it was a site of Hezbollah weaponry. Her devout Muslim family comes from the Hezbollah-controlled South Lebanon. Intelligence sources confirm that at least three of Fakih’s relatives are currently top officials in Hezbollah and that at least eight Fakih family members were Hezbollah terrorists killed by the Israelis in past Israel-Lebanese wars and interventions. Some of her family members were originally in Harakat Amal [the Shi'ite Amal militia], which is now essentially a part of Hezbollah. There’s a reason that even Al-Manar TV–Hezbollah’s official TV network–is high on Fakih in the Miss USA pageant.

UMmmm pardon my skepticism but WHY would a muslima PARTICULARLY a shiite moslem… Run around a stage without her hijab, burkah or other ‘covering’ besides her ‘kini’…?
After all our Western cvulture is ‘unislamic’ or so we are told…

There are some positives here. Splashing her er assets all over will tick off the extremists in both camps. Muslim women will want to be her and demand more rights. The sunni’s will hate her because she is not one and the rest will run around confused attempting to decide if they are supposed to hate her or welcome her as a heroine. Except for her connection to the moon god she seems well qualified.
I am waiting on the fun to start when she starts pushing for special privileges, in the name of tolerance.

Good for her. She has just brought the plight of Islamic women to the forefront. If threats and attacks are made on her life, the media will be forced to admit the problem. She will surely have muslim girls around the globe wondering about the freedoms offered in Western culture.
And, should she start making demands for special privileges she will open more eyes on the Western front.
Win-Win… Although at first I was a tad bit annoyed that an American born girl was not selected. This due in part to a couple of men discussing that American women are not pretty enough to win their own contest.

A family of hardline islamists supporters tells us what? Muslims go out of their way to strip muslimas of their femininity at birth and then we have Donald putting them up when they get older as Miss USA. I find that a bit of an abomination. Miss Miss-ing USA, way to go Don.

Off topic… How far should one go to be deemed the most beautiful girl? I heard a doctor say that you can see her scars where she had a rib, possibly two removed. I guess this is normal in the beauty pageant world, much as breast enhancement, liposuction, butt lifts and implants, collegian injections, plastic surgery on noses, ears, and eye lids…
It is all kind of sad… But, she does look hot! One contestant said when asked about plastic surgery, “It is wonderful that all women have the ability to be beautiful.”
