Libtarded Teachers Run Amok in Providence, RI School—Ban Patriotic Hat with Armed Plastic Army Figures

You know, back when I was a schoolkid, we used to bring cap guns and pocket knives to school.  Not only that, but we would take great delight in drawing all sorts of horrific stick-figure army action sequences all over our notebooks while trapped in the classroom as a monotone teacher droned on and on about some inane thing or other.  We took great pride in our works of art; the more ghastly and terrifying the panoramic battle sequences, all the more wonderful and thrilling it was for us.

Guess what?  I’m still alive and haven’t gone on a mass-murdering spree at the mall.  Neither have any of my old classmates.

In fact, millions of kids have grown up this way and still have not gone “postal” on anyone.  Therefore, there is no freakin’ way on God’s green Earth that a kid gluing plastic army figures onto his hat is going to lead to a mass shooting at school or something.  Nor is this in any way indicative of a psychopathic killer; it’s just what young kids do.

So, given the preponderance of contrary, real world evidence flying in the face of Libtards, one does wonder why they  have a zero-tolerance level when it comes to children playing with toy guns or plastic army figures.

Well, long story short, Libtards know that if they demonize guns in any way, shape, or form, children will grow up thinking guns are inherently evil (and not the criminals) and will therefore support restrictive gun control measures and outright bans.  Yes, that is the actual underlying intent behind banning “any concept of weapons in the school.”

Mom: R.I. School Bans 8-Year-Old Son’s Patriotic Hat With Army Figures

PROVIDENCE, R.I.

A Rhode Island mother says her 8-year-old son’s school would not let him wear a patriotic hat she says he designed for a project to honor Army troops because the school thought it was  inappropriate.

Christan Morales says her son David was assigned to make a crazy hat for his second grade class at the Tiogue School in Coventry, R.I. Morales said her son came up with an idea to glue small plastic Army figures to a camouflage hat with an American flag.

Morales said the principal at David’s school called her to say the hat wasn’t appropriate because it had guns, which violated a school ban on weapons and toy weapons.

“We don’t advocate having any concept of weapons in the school,” Kenneth DiPietro, superintendent of Coventry Public Schools, told FoxNews.com.

“(David’s) military theme was all welcomed. The only issue was the weapons displayed on the hat.”

DiPietro said the intent of the principal was to allow the child the full expression of depicting the theme, but to help him find a way to express it without the presentation of weapons. He said the principal decided there were alternative ways to represent his theme.

“The principal’s concern was not the theme, not the patriotism and not the soldiers,” said DiPietro. “She worked with family to come up with alternatives so the child’s rights and patriotism was protected.”

Christan Morales has not returned FoxNews.com’s request for comment.

After the incident, David’s father requested a copy of Coventry Public Schools’ zero-tolerance policy for weapons and depictions of weapons, DiPietro said.

DiPietro said the school hopes to learn from this incident and spend time deciding whether there should be a different strategy for handling such issues in the future.

I spent most of my teen years in DOD schools overseas; we had rifle, archery, skeet and pistol teams. We kept weapons in our wall lockers and I turned out fine.

  2. islams not for me Says:

I played ‘war games’ mostly at home. And come to think of it I too carried a pocket knife and never used to to harm anyone.

I too have never carried out a ‘postal’ style attack except in video games of course…

Looks like the Libbys lost another one…

It’s all part and parcel of the totally nuts Liberal agenda and mindset to demasculize our young men and turn them into sheep. This also is a part of the Liberal attack on the Second Amendment, early anti-gun brainwashing and propaganda.

Uhh ban weapons! I wish someone would attack me with a toy soldier. Does this mean there are no bullies at this school? Their attitudes towards intimidation and probablility of battery are weapons enough. Are there no sharp pencils at this school? No hard cover books? No fingernail clippers or combs? No belts? No towels?, No letter openers in the admin offices? No forks or knives in the cafeteria? No rocks on the campus ground anywhere? No tennis shoes shoe laces? no car atenna in the parking lot that can ripped of of the cars? No acidic cleaning chemicals? No science lab> No sports equipment? Define real weapons and stop loooking as the stupidest idiots in out entire countryGlad this idiot admninistrators aren’t in OUR Armed Forces.

Cont…. come to think about it, what about pictures of the A-bomb in history books? Does the ordinance ban weapons or weapon facsimilies? I would be more afraid of a teacher assaulting a child than an eight year old committing a crime with a toy soldier. Whats next? Police arresting kids who carry army men with toy guns in city limits? “Excuse me young man., but may I see your permit for that toy soldier? Or wait, we had better ban the sale of the movie The Toy Soldier at Wal Mart too.

Toy army guys are verboten, but it’s ok to have special-needs kids forced to enact the play La Cage Aux Folles. Oh yeah, that makes sense.

      Hmm, which would I choose:

      - a 2nd grade kid whose assignment to make a crazy hat resulted in a patriotic military theme with inch and a half tall plastic men with guns (barely visible from 5 feet away)

      - force an 8 y.o. autistic boy to dress in girl’s clothes and act as a homosexual cross-dressing man

Gee that’s a tough choice. Can I get a phone shout-out to help me?

Yes, lets ban plastic army men because not banning effed up state sanctioned fire inspectors and the union centric state workers who hire them who’s effed up policies incinerated several hundred people would be wrong. I hated the effed up state trash in RI long before they started banning pliatic army soldiers. To me it will always be the incinerator state. Effing scumbags.

I carried a bow and arrows around with me until I finished elementary school and began to develop, err, other interests. I had a really nice switch blade collection, many of the knives coming from the cop across the street from me who had collected them from somewhere in LA.

You look at the life vest story and this. The worst thing a parent can do is let these creeps turn your boys into sissies. They might grow up to become democrat or republican politicians.

No really, I’m not kidding, the worst thing that has come from seeing women advance in the public sphere is that many of them want us all to become women. so do the femen that follow them. They have tried to turn the whole country into their public little nests. And Just say no.

These people have absolutely no chance against the barbarians that they will eventually have to face, no chance at all. In the end, they will die like the sissies that they are. No doubt.
