Government Motors Invests $500 Million to Build Cars in Mexico
How is this helping to keep Americans employed, Obama? And to think that Obama criticized McCain, saying that he “sold out” American workers in Pennsylvania because an obsolete picture tube manufacturing plant closed down and its outdated manufacturing equipment was shipped overseas to China.
I now know that Obama was actually criticizing McCain not because the plant in Pennsylvania was shut down, but because McCain actually had the gall to ship useless technology to China while turning a profit in the deal:

General Motors will invest $500 million to produce a new vehicle and eight-cylinder engines in a plant in northeastern Mexico, a company spokesman said on August 4.
[Yup, in Obama's mind, gas-guzzling vehicles are only environmentally evil if they are manufactured here in America. But, in his green-pea-brain, it's perfectly acceptable for third world countries, err, "developing nations" to destroy the environment willy nilly. After all, he IS paying them to do so.]
The decision was announced at a meeting on August 3 between GM management and Mexican officials, the spokesman said, without giving details of the new vehicle.
The investment in the GM plant in Ramos Arispe, Coahuila state, would generate 390 jobs, he added.
General Motors has been present in Mexico since 1935, where it has some 11,000 workers, four factories, an engineering center and a test circuit.

Govmint motors is union and union today means democrat and democrat means climate change is killing the world. Who cares if guvmint motors workers lose their jobs, they supported the losing of their jobs. Correct again! Historically the facilitators of the movement are always the first ones to be tossed aside or eliminated. Anyone who studied Marx and the Socialist movements will come to this conclusion. To name a few Joe Stalin, A Hitler, Chairman Mao, and Fidel Castro. Every one of these despots and their henchmen eliminated hundreds of thousands of supporters in purges or phony trials, and reneged on the promises and spirit of their revolutions.

Yep. And having these people as guvmint dependents, either as welfare recipients or employees/pensioners makes it easy (and profitable)to do. Plus it reduces the carbon paw print. Green jobs…pushin up daisies.

Let’s not forget the giant plants that our wonderful too big to fail corp. GM is planning to build in of all places ‘The Peoples Republic Of China’.
