Made in America, Tested in Japan

I wanted to add my own celebration in remembrance of the 65th Anniversary of the first use of an atomic weapon in battle, which lead to the American victory over Japan. I want to add that we owe no apology at all to the city of Hiroshima. We were going to use it on someone; you were just the unlucky sob’s we picked. If anyone is owed an apology, it is us. Your governments polices cost us both treasure and lives. Your place in history is made.
Our scientists designed, built and tested an atomic weapon without following blueprints, stealing secrets or getting help from pakistan. That weapon helped end one of our costliest conflicts. Good job and thanks to everyone involved.

Dear Mr Ronin
I watched Democracy Now yesterday. They had on an author Robert Jay Lifton who wrote the book Hiroshima in America. He spoke of this bomb as the worst weapon of mass destruction. He also stated that no invasion of the US was forth coming because we had the bomb.
Just think we only killed 140,000 people with this bomb.
I feel we owe them more than an apology. AMEN

The author is entitled to his opinion. I have never heard of him or his theory but from what you have said about him, I would save my money and buy better reading material.
If you feel the japanese are owed an apology then I am sure that millions of Chinese, Thais and other Asian states would find you a fool, I am not sure I could disagree with them. Your knowledge of the history of Japanese expansion seems to be poor at best. The USA was never in danger of any invasion but Japan was. The bomb saved lives-American ones.
I am proud of that bomb and I am proud that the first nation to build one and use it was the USA. Imagine how it would have been used if a communist, socialist, islamic or any other form of oppressive regime had developed it. Two cities would have been a drop in the bucket if we did not have it and show the world that we have willpower to use it.
We could use them now, today. No one could really stop us but we will not. As stupid, inept and incompetent as our current elected officials are even they are not twisted enough to use overwhelming force. I could easily name a few world leaders who wouldn’t even bat an eye. The world trusts us to stop the first use of WMD and so far we have not let them down. It is not the japanese that are owed an apology, the entire world owes us a thank you and a job well done.

Forget about libtards like this fellow. They are irrelevant as they will not fight for what they believe in. They feel the need to apologize to people who systematically committed war crimes of the most horrendous nature. If you want to see the world as they would leave it just look at the Japanese invasion and occupation of the Philippines during WWII.
These lefturds hold a perverted ideology of anti war, homosexuality, abortion, womens rights, etc etc, and all these things they will end up having to fight to retain, will they, war is hell, so I say, no they won’t. If they don’t want to fight for what they have here they should just leave, its a big world, pick a safe and quiet place and go.
In fifty years there won’t be one stinkin lefturd left on the planet and we will not have had to lift a finger.

Dear Ronin: Too bad that you did not know the author. I did not know him either.
I suppose you thing that the Afghanistan war is a good one. Hurray for Wikileaks and their exposure to our wonderful military.
I simply do not believe in war. I watch Thom Hartmann every day and he to feels that war is a god awful crime.

Since you asked, I met my first aghan in the 80’s. Even then, I knew we where on the wrong side. If you think war is a crime how do you feel about slavery, the crushing of individualism and strict control through force of the populace? Without war afghanistan would once again be a taliban state, rape and sexual exploitation of small children, forced marriages, honor killing and the mutilation of females would continue. Don’t get me wrong I hate the afghans but even they deserve better. The vast majority of afghans are two faced liars, thieves and outlaws but they are better than the taliban. Go look at the cover of time magazine and see for yourself why we are still in that god forsaken hell.
I have been to war for this nation and watched some real scum die like dogs on dusty ground, I learned one thing from it-there are more.

War is hell. However, surrender is even more hellish in most cases. libs such as Hartmann think that all the world is just like America. War is hell, but hell, these libs can’t even handle a change in the weather anymore. Dweebs. Libs appear to want a world that is as safe as their playpens were, where mommy fixes all their boboos, wipes their noses and decides what they should eat and drink. Libs have no idea that their leaders don’t really care if they have to push these people out into battle, they just don’t care what the Hartmanns of the world think. War is hell, especially when you are thrown into the middle of one but aren’t allowed to fight.

My dad rest his soul when questioned about the use of the A bomb said “The Japanese militarists started their reign of pillage, murder, genocide, destruction, and imperialist conquest throughout Asia and Southeast Asia long before Pearl Harbor, the use of the ‘bomb’ saved possibly millions of lives on both sides”. I’m sick of the liberals who constantly whine and moan about the use of the bomb, these tunnel vision dimwits only focus on that issue and conveniently ignore or disregard all of the prior horrors committed by the Japanese. To add insult to injury we did too good of a job rebuilding the countries of our former enemies, now they are conducting economic warfare with us.

The Tanaka Memorial (jap plan for world conquest). “With a victorious Axis, Japan would achieve tne next to the final part of Baron Tanaka’s programme. With control of the vast resources in material and man power in East Asia she would only have to organize and wait until an appropriate moment to place all the white races of the world under the rule of the Son of Heaven.]”
So what they really wanted to do was enslave whitey. I see. When are some of these colored people of the world going to realize that whitey is not becoming their slave, ever!

The plan at the link is important not the morons comments. If the USA wanted world conquest we would have kept every place we fought and won. Which is, coincidentally, pretty much everywhere.

The liberal thinks when the time comes our kids will fight to protect America but I will insist that libs who have failed to have kids go in the place of the kids that they never had. I don’t care how old, how small, what sex, their level of incompetence or how scared they are, that’s the price they will have to pay. Of course they will have to be segregated, no sense in getting real Americans killed…for them.

Confederate Yankee; Defending Freedom. “We will not stand by and trade the bright future of our nation for the weight of oppression, and we will not be silenced or defined by those comfortable in their chains.”
Damn straight!

Wonder what Japenese memorials would be like if they had won the war?
