Gee, I wonder what religion of peace these two are practitioners of:

Two men on ‘dry run for trans-Atlantic terror attack’ caught with ‘mock bomb’ at Amsterdam airport

Two men on a flight from Chicago to Amsterdam have been arrested today on suspicion of planning a terror attack.

Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al Soofi (left) and Hezam al Murisi (right) were found with a mobile phone taped to a medicine bottle, a knife and a box cutter stashed in their in their luggage.

U.S. officials asked Dutch police to detain the men after they arrived at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport with the ‘mock bombs’.

Air marshals were placed on the United Airlines flight after U.S. authorities spotted the ‘suspicious items’ in their luggage.

U.S. Homeland Security spokeswoman Amy Kudwa said once officials found items in luggage associated with two passengers on Sunday night’s flight, they notified the Dutch authorities.

‘The items were not deemed to be dangerous in and of themselves,’ she said.

Security officials questioned Al Soofi as he went through security in Alabama on his way to Chicago but the men have not been charged with anything in the U.S.

He told the Transportation Security Administration authorities he was carrying a lot of cash.

Security officials found $7,000 (£4,500) on him, but he was not breaking any law by carrying that much money.

Officials also found several mobile phones and watches taped together in his checked baggage.

Al Soofi is believed to have a Michigan address, but a neighbour said that he was originally from Yemen.

FBI agents visited the Detroit neighbourhood where several addresses were found for variations of al Soofi’s name.

Al Soofi was supposed to fly from Chicago to Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia, and then on to Amsterdam, the official said.

But when he got to Chicago, he changed his travel plans to take a direct flight from Chicago to Amsterdam.

Al Murisi also changed his travel plans in Chicago to take a direct flight to Amsterdam, raising suspicion among U.S. officials.

The men are likely to appear in court later before a judge, who will decide whether they should be released or remanded into custody pending possible charges of preparing a terrorist attack.

I thought exposing leftist insanity and the joys of Islamania was your job 🙂

If so, it’s a job well done!

It’s amusing how the media is scrambling to let us know that the U.S. doesn’t believe these were terrorists, just two guys flying to Amsterdam with box cutters, etc. Nothing to see here, folks! Let’s move along. Hmmm-were their names O’Malley? Kerchinski? Smith? No?? Just coincidence, I’m sure.

It sounds as if the explosives had been real this plane could have been exploded at will anywhere between Birmingham and Chicago. I’m sure it won’t matter at this time, the media is in full, potential disaster reporting mode (PDRM), its hurricane season don’t ya know! Yay! The US media has descended into a scene from the TV show, scare tactics, when it comes to the weather, on islamists see no evil, hear no evil. You know what I am starting to think, that for the media disasters are an auto erotic stimulation, they get off on it. They can tell you bout the plane crash with a gleam in their eye, they need bloody laundry.

Homeland Security directer Leatherneck went to the Mosque the moon god worshipers put their arse in the air towards Mecca at, and beat the living dog #### out of the Imam, and any other POS found on site. Then, he took all the CPU’s, cell phones, and checked the basement for weapons, and C-4.

80% of Americans believe Leatherneck in the man for the job, not any bull dike. The scuttle butt is, Leatherneck is getting two fast companies ready for an operation, and all military bases in the border States are preparing for operations along the border.

    I love me some Leatherneck!

You know why a Michigan jihadist can board a plane to Alabama and blow people from Birmingham up on their way to Chicago? Because of the NY Times and people like Mike Bloomberg. But I suppose it doesn’t matter to elitists like Mike, just as long as NYC doesn’t get blown up its ok.

  7. PB-in-AL Says:

Apparently they’re now innocent travellers unaware of their supposed transgressions. … uhm yeah, that.

Just why, exactly, would one have a cell phone taped to a bottle of anything when traveling overseas? Or why would they have a number of cell phones taped together in their luggage? How is it that the two of them, who ostensibly don’t know each other, both missed the same flight through Dulles to the M.E., but their luggage didn’t?

So many questions, no answers. Holding breath… not really. I don’t actually expect this to have any more media time, unless they sue the TSA for a huge amount of money.
