I am still burning my koran

Actually, I already did, within a minute of hearing that Pastor Jones caved; I exercised my rights and trashed my antique koran. No pomp and no circumstance no ceremony just a cutting torch and a trashcan lid. I have had that book since the 80’s. Then I turned my cutting torch on again and trashed an antique islamic dagger. To be technical it was a Jambiya and a gift from an imam. It was an amazing piece of work, mostly silver with some gold inlay.

That dagger would have bought me a used truck but I was angry, insensitive and pissed off. Not at muslims, they rarely surprise or anger me. I am mad that censorship, intimidation and a general lack of common sense combined and whipped freedoms ass.

I heard all the lies; burn a book and you risk attack and incite violence. There was never a bigger and bolder lie. Americans have been attacked by islamic minions from the beginning. I have watched enough American bodies go down Bayshore Blvd to realize that radical muslims have been murdering our soldiers before anyone every heard of Pastor Jones.

This weekend radical muslims will attack Christians, not in Gainesville Florida but in Iraq, the Philippines, Sudan and other places. This weekend muslims will attack Jews, Hindus, and Buddhists. This weekend muslims will attack other muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other places. Worse than the attacks will be the deafening silence from the press. Don’t you dare think that anyone of the murderous thugs have ever entered a mosque or read a book. Nope that was not it; they must have been motivated by something else. I bet it was free speech.

I did not cause any violence by burning a book. I did not burn the book or trash the knife because I was angry or insensitive with muslims or islam. I did it because once America stood for freedom, once Americans could make a stand on principles. Once we were free. Once we refused to back down in fear.

My koran and dagger or now gone. Actually the koran is gone, the remnants of the knife are cooling out back. Blame me for every bad deed that muslims do for the next thousand years. I am an insensitive bastard. Hell, I probably had something to do with mohammed switching from preaching about his new religion to becoming a warlord and starting his campaign of murder and violence. .

I had invited friends over Saturday and we were going to burn the koran, drink some bear and eat pulled pork to celebrate the end of ramadan. Not now, Saturday I am going to burn a copy of the US bill of rights, it is worthless now anyway.

Burn it, not in anger but because it is your right to do so, because our way is better and because we do not let the behavior of a middle eastern cult dictate what we do. We refuse to be intimidated or censored. Not by the threat of attack by blood crazed savages and not by a government hell bent on destroying our country.
