What I have learned about islam since 9-11, 2001.

By Ronin, 10 Sep, 2010
I have been around muslims most of my adult life. I never took a really hard look at them until 9-11. I have learned a few things since then; let me share them with you.

Islam is not a religion but a cult. Religions are all about leading you to salvation, islam is a cancer designed to grow and consume.

The Christian prophets mentioned in the Bible and the koran are not one and the same. The koran is full of modifications to Christian doctrine. This may have been done in error or because the Christian slaves made major doctoral changes to alert future Christian readers that islam was a false religion.

The myth that muslims respect Jesus and Mary fall flat when you consider the doctrine. Jesus stated that he was the way to God the father and that false prophets would follow him. The koran teaches that Jesus was a coward and swapped places with Judus. The muslims fail to explain away the hundreds of witnesses to the resurrection. The Mary (s) in the koran were at least 600 years older than the Christian Mary. You could also argue there is more than one mentioned.

By any modern standard, mohammed would have been condemned as a war criminal or worse. His actions and abuses cannot be ignored by a rational thinking modern man.

Our government, military, media and liberal elite are cowards, by kowtowing to islam without complaint they have helped make muslims dependant on handouts and taught them that threats and intimidation work.

Muslims do not commit acts of violence because of insults to islam. Muslims use insults (real or perceived) to islam as excuses to commit violent acts.

There are no moderate muslims. Not committing an act of violence yourself does not a moderate make.

When muslims cannot fool a westerner into believing islam has a good side they have only have a few ways to defend islam from exposure:

• Turn to apple vs oranges comparisons. Comparing Christianity with islam is like comparing a Jeep Wrangler with a smart car. The first bump in the road will tell you the truth.

• Use distraction by condemning the messenger not the message. By pointing out flaws in others, they distract you from counting and comparing the result.

• Claim that islam doesn’t translate well. This one is silly when you consider the numbers of non arabic speakers and illiterate muslims.

• Claim that you need an advanced degree to recognize evil when you see it. I’m guessing that the Jews being forced into ovens didn’t need a PHD to understand the evil they faced.

• Denial of their own cult members and their actions. This one is why we get so many “you have them wrongs” and “I know a good muslim” and my favorite “we are not that kind of muslim, we are better than that”. The last one does not explain away accepting the rules set forth by a man of mohammeds low character or why they continue to follow him. Passive support is still support.

• Pretending to be non muslim. We get a lot of these, they use islamic ideology and basic defenses while pretending to be educated and enlightened Christians.

• Some Christians are cowards. By not standing up to correct or defend the mistakes of their own doctrine as understood by muslims they are giving passive support to islamic doctrine and allowing the myth of equality to spread. Many further their cowardice by condemning those that expose islam while ignoring the islamic attempts to drive Christians out of islamic lands. Some Christian leaders have almost as much Christian blood on their hands as al qaida does. Defend your faith. Unless I misunderstood Peter, you are required to correct misunderstandings of your faith. Exposure of islamic intolerance and false claims does not make you intolerant.

• Islamic threats are meaningless. I have exposed them, insulted their cult, their god, their book, ideology and their messenger. I am doing well. The difference is I am not afraid of thugs, bullies and cowards that attack the weak and claim their god wanted it done. Any deity that requires such men to defend it is a bigger coward than the men doing the act. Equally, any ideology that cannot defend itself verbally is worthless. By watching what muslims do and not listening to what they say, you will learn all you need to know to understand them.

I agree Islam is a death cult following a mad man named Mohammad, and worshiping a false moon god called Hubal, Sin, or Allah.

Check all Mosques in America for hate speech, weapons, and C-4.

All religions are cults, Mr R. Some are big, some are small, and many more are (thankfully) dead. Some are presently dangerous, and others are presently benign. But don’t forget there was a time when you wouldn’t want to have been in town when the Inquisition or the Crusades rolled through.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking Christianity or saying it’s worse than (or even as bad as) Islam. I’m just pointing out the ever-present potential for ridiculous evil when people appeal to an imaginary uber-thing to justify their “us vs them” mindset. The only thing keeping Fred Phelps from starting his own war is the lack of a few million more followers.

The sooner all religions die the better.

    • Leatherneck Says:

What evil men do in the name of religion does not mean the source of Christianty is bad. The evil men are bad.

Islam’s sourse is an evil man.

      Good luck to you.

      • Sky Noodle Says:

Well if it’s Jesus vs Mohammed, there’s no contest of course. But let’s move on to the Christian teaching that non-believers will go to Hell, and straight away you’ve got a big problem.

Straight away there’s a hellbound “sub-class” of people to be despised and ridiculed. And it could just as easily get worse in the future for the “non-believers.” Even now, a man stands a better chance of being elected to public office if he’s openly gay than if he’s openly atheist.

Sure, Christianity is all flowers and puppies – - if you’re a Christian.

Best we do away with all cults and their inherent potential to divide us and pervert human reason and morality.

I’m happily married. I don’t take drugs or drink or smoke. I own a business, employ people and give to charities.

        What do Christians call me?

        A reprobate.

Thanks for you kind wishes though.

        • Cora Says:

Well it is a shame. Dispised and ridiculed, believe me if we Christians were really following Jesus, it wouldn’t happen. I would never call you a name as I know at any moment, I can be worse then a reprobate. Flowers and puppies, not happening. I struggle through my days the same way everyone else does. As for Christians we have become a laughing stock because of the failures of our televangelists. The more likely fact is that because of the fools that have over-taken the simple truth of the teachings of Jesus, my faith not will, is already being called a cult and far right wackos. Take heart, believing in nothing is the belief that is tolerated today.

The Bible says a lot of things that relate to your post like, judge not lest ye shall be judged. Now that doesn’t say don’t judge people it says that you had better have all your Ps and Qs in order if you do cause you will be held to an even higher standard as a result of your actions. Beware, when making judgments, that would be more appropriate.

You could review the story of Jesus, some townspeople and the prostitute, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. In other words and following on judgment, you can oppose prostitution, you can say that it is wrong, you can refuse to participate and speak out on it but, judgment is mine sayeth the Lord.

The inquisition was about as un Christ like as one could get and I’m still not sure what the story is on that, could have been the close proximity of muslims in Spain that led to that but if so we would not hear about it today.

Christianity is supposed to be a personal relationship with God through Christ. You can review the actions of the God of the Bible cause God changes his mind alot. Read the Bible and understand that God is not afraid to debate man, have a conversation with him. The Bible says that we are made in Gods image so that would mean what we are is essentially what God is. All of the things that make humans humans are present in God.

It is not for me, a Christian, to make determinations regarding who is and isn’t going to hell and I would never make that presumption, it is ok for me to have an opinion but we all know what opinions are like. Render unto Caesar what is Caesars and unto God what is Gods. Christianity is too complicated for many modern Christians to understand. And them we have the evil nemesis, trying to screw it all up. Another story I would suggest is the story of Job.

Well sky noodle so called atheist morality and atheistic humanism / ‘reason’ has been done before…

It’s called communism… And it failed.

    • Sky Noodle Says:

Communism was (and is) idiocy turned corrupt and barbaric. It’s founders were unwitting fools. Stalin was an idiot. Anyone who thinks he can banish religion by force is an ignoramus who deserves to fail as quickly as possible. That’s what I think, anyway.

However, today’s much more reasonable secular societies, of Northern Europe in particular (e.g. Denmark and Sweden), are examples of spectacular success.

  4. islams not for me Says:

The crusades of course were origionally defensive against islam. Of course we all know how that turned out…

Exactly how is the inquisition only a ‘Christian’ criminal act when atheists and others have used similar tactics by murdering non atheists enemies and so called ‘religious folks’ or xians… As you propbably would call them.

  5. Sky Noodle Says:

I don’t call people xians. Or muzzies.

Why would I be divisive when I’m talking about how being divisive is a bad thing?

Anyhoo, thanks for your time. And a big thanks to Dr Bulldog and Ronin for an open and interesting site!

    • Ronin Says:

      Sky,

I leave the defense of religion to others; this blog is not designed to be a comparative religions class. That said, you are guilty of using apple vs oranges comparisons. Each ideology should be based independently, they do not teach their believers a common ideology nor do the practitioners act the same.

Some religions but especially the Christians have impressed me. Their global charities have saved hundreds of thousands and they risk their lives in many cases to feed those that would gladly torture and murder them. Until I see world governments accomplish what I have seen them do, I cannot condemn them.

Since our legal system is based on their moral code, I feel I also owe them credit for that. I actually think we could benefit greatly from a class of leadership that actually had some sort of a moral code. Our current ruling class has proven to be self serving and of no identifiable moral code.

If you read the other posts you would notice that I consider many senior politicians and military officers to be little more than cowards. At the first hint of conflict, they cave. Their job is simple; defend our principles, values and way of lie. Instead, they suck so much ass they have permanently stuck their own bowls up.

If our system is unique then it deserves better leadership. No other system has benefited its people as much as ours, as imperfect as it is, we have set an impossibly high bar for others.

      • Sky Noodle Says:

Thanks R. I feel compelled to reiterate that I did point out presently Christianity is better than Islam.

However, comparative ideology is irrelevant when there’s an even better third alternative. As a society we can have religion’s benefits without its pitfalls.

Christianity is fraught with danger and open to some of the same charges you’ve levelled at Islam, especially the way in which moderates distance themselves from fundamentalists. Fred Phelps gets his twisted garbage from the Bible, but Christians use “no true Christian” defence. Catholics offset their hospitals and charities by incubating peadophiles and discouraging the control of a.i.d.s in Africa by prohibiting the use of condoms.

Still better than Islam? Sure, on the balance of things.

Better than secular humanism? That’s yet to be seen, in my (current) opinion.

        Thanks again for your time.
