It has been brought to my attention, in addition to union protection via contracts Wis. and many states have very strong Civil Service Laws which protect even state workers who have no Union affiliation, in such matters as promotion, transfer, disciplinary hearings, and termination. As a retired public employee I can attest that the very politicians that sit across the table at negotiating sessions are no strangers when they are looking for large campaign donations, it looks like a conflict of interest to me.

Well, the Gov. just signed it into law.

The thing that’s ticking me off is that even FoxNews is framing it as “Wis. Strips Public Worker Rights in Blow to Unions”. There’s no “rights” being “stripped” from the workers. This is rolling back an unjustified leverage in the union bargaining process. This is reining in unwarranted manipulation of the process of awarding raises and general remuneration of public employees.

What about my right to the money that I earn in my paycheck?!? Seems to me that about 30% of that is “stripped” from me every freakin’ day. So I daily work from about 8am to 11am for the government, both federal and state. And that doesn’t even count the extra that I’ll have to work to pay my insurance premium, my 401k, increased doctor co-pays, increased prescription costs, and all the other ancillary expenses that unions and this administration have saddled us all with.

Rights to collective bargaining, my ass!!

Expect no less from the Communist/Ultra Leftist infiltrated unions. The big picture is the fact that these demonstrations and near riots are a carefully crafted part of a revolution to ‘change’ our great nation into a Socialist/Communist hell, and the manipulators behind the scenes could care less about the useful idiots doing their bidding. I have heard all of the arguments on both sides, however no one can change the fact that the states and the pension funds in most states will be broke in 10 to 15 yrs, and unlike the fools in the Federal government can print more money and stave off an economic doomsday for a few more years.

Reminds me of the union bullying of a neighbor of mine in South Washington state during a Boeing strike somewhere between 1989 or 1990….

They damaged his car, left threatening notes at his home… all because he went thru the strike lines…

LOL. I hear they have co opted the chillen for their cause, LOL. Having aborted their own, turned them homo, and entrenched themselves against adults they turn to OPK, other peoples kids. If all of us on the other side remove our kids from the schools the schools get a hundred times worse. Why should we send our kids to school where the good behavior we have instilled in them from birth is attacked? Besides, they will only try to make them criminals if they don’t go along with these leftists.

At some point some broken taxpayer who has had everything they worked for stolen from them is going to set themselves on fire in front of the white house in an effort to make their point. To those who don’t understand, that will be a sign of all hell beginning to break loose. The left do not understand the anger around the country that is festering right under the surface. When that happens, if our guvmint starts bombing the people who sets up a no fly zone?
