Death Star petition on White House website succeeds
By Stephen Dinan – The Washington Times
The Death Star petition on the White House website has gained enough signatures to merit a response from President Obama’s administration.
The petition, which calls for the administration to “begin construction of a Death Star by 2016, crossed the mark Thursday for 25,000 signatures, which is the level the White House requires before it will respond.
“By focusing our defense resources into a space-superiority platform and weapon system such as a Death Star, the government can spur job creation in the fields of construction, engineering, space exploration, and more, and strengthen our national defense,” the petition reads.
Natalie M from Minneapolis was the 25,000th signature, and it came just one day before the Dec. 14 cutoff for the petition.

How can a nation build a death star while it’s committing suicide, by giving up it’s sovereignty, spending itself into bankruptcy, exporting it’s industrial and manufacturing base, Importing a class of lifetime dependents, denying it’s citizens the Constitutional process, and shrinking in influence as a world power?

Jeffrey Immelt, Obama’s job creation czar, in an interview, commented that he believes communist rule works. He further advised US firms to seek customers outside of the US.
Read between the lines. He is pretty much saying that gvt control of everything is the current fascist ideal of the O admin. Knowing that when that happens, the American consumers will have no money left to spend, he is advising companies to be ready to find customers elsewhere.
An interesting doom and gloom perspective from the US job czar, don’t you think?
