Lou Dobbs Lied to by the State of Hawaii!!!!!!!

I caught this today on Lou Dobbs, and I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!  According to Lou Dobbs, the State of Hawaii has said that they no longer have Obama’s original Birth Certificate because it was discarded 8 years ago when Hawaii switched to an electronic Birth Certificate system.

That is an outright, bold-faced lie!!!!!!!!!!!

There is NO WAY that they would be allowed to dispose of the original copies!  It’s the law of the land that the original Birth Certificates must be kept on file.

And,  more importantly,  DOH Director, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, on October 31st, 2008, said she has “personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.

“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record,” DOH Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said.

Fukino said she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.”Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures,” Fukino said.

I’m hoping that our readers will take the time to expose this lie from the State of Hawaii and post it on as many websites as you can.  It’s got to go viral!!!!!!   And, hopefully, Lou Dobbs will eventually see it and realize that he’s been lied to, yet again!

There is something seriously rotten in Hawaii…

P.S. – While watching the video, take care to note how Libtards debate:  They shout down anyone who has a different opinion other than their own.  That’s because they don’t want anyone listening to hear another point of view—no matter how logical, well thought out, and reasoned it may be.  Nor, do they have the intelligence to understand that it is We the People who run the government, not that freakin’ meglomaniac, Obama!  He answers to us, we don’t answer to him!

Report: CNN prez told Dobbs to drop Birther story
Seems like CNN executives have finally spoken up on Lou Dobbs’ embrace of Birtherism. TVNewser is reporting that CNN/U.S. President Jon Klein e-mailed some of the staffers from Dobbs’ show before it aired Thursday night to say, “[I]t seems this story is dead — because anyone who is not convinced doesn’t really have a legitimate beef.”

I’ve contacted a CNN spokeswoman for comment, and will update this post if and when I hear back, but in the meantime the report looks trustworthy, as TVNewser has what it says is the actual e-mail from Klein:

    —– Original Message —–
    From: Klein, Jon (CNN)
    Sent: Thu Jul 23 19:00:44 2009
    Subject: Important re birth certificate

I asked the political researchers to dig into the question “why couldn’t Obama produce the ORIGINAL birth certificate?”

This is what they forwarded. It seems to definitively answer the question. Since the show’s mission is for Lou to be the explainer and enlightener, he should be sure to cite this during your segment tonite. And then it seems this story is dead – because anyone who still is not convinced doesn’t really have a legitimate beef.

*In 2001 – the state of Hawaii Health Department went paperless.*Paper documents were discarded*The official record of Obama’s birth is now an official ELECTRONIC record Janice Okubo, spokeswoman for the Health Department told the Honolulu Star Bulletin, “At that time, all information for births from 1908 (on) was put into electronic files for consistent reporting,” she said.

Dobbs basically followed the letter of Klein’s e-mail in his Thursday night broadcast, but he didn’t really adhere to the spirit of it. His presentation of the facts at hand suggested he was skeptical, and he continued to make some obviously inaccurate claims.

“President Obama promised transparency and openness in his administration. Yet he’s chosen not to release his original birth certificate or a copy of it,” Dobbs said. “Meanwhile, the state of Hawaii says it can’t release a paper copy of the president’s original birth certificate because they say the state government discarded the original document when the health department records went electronic some eight years ago.”

A little later in the segment he repeated one of his favorite falsehoods, saying the certification of live birth that President Obama released isn’t really an official copy of his birth certificate but “a certificate that refers to the fact that another certificate exists … a copy of his birth certificate would have the doctor, the hospital that he was born in, correct?”

And Dobbs’ remarks left some room for interpretation by the Birthers, because he only referred to Obama’s paper birth certificate being discarded, not all Hawaiian paper birth certificates, which is what happened. So the Birthers see this as yet another example of odd special treatment for Obama’s records — a cover-up!

In fact, the segment has actually fueled additional conspiracy theories — unofficial Birther headquarters World Net Daily has posted it on its Web site, and bloggers are claiming a contradiction between what Dobbs reported and previous statements by Hawaiian officials.

For the record, there is no such contradiction.

A statement from October of last year from the Hawaii Director of Health Chiyome Fukino says, “I … along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these types of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.” (Notice the lack of any wording to indicate that what they saw was a paper copy.)

Klein’s information came from a June Honolulu Star Bulletin article about the state’s procedures regarding birth certificates. The article actually refutes all of Dobbs’ claims — including the ones he made Thursday night — as well as many of the claims made by the Birther movement generally.

The article quotes Hawaii Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo as saying the department “does not have a short-form or long-form certificate …. [What Obama released] is the same certified copy everyone receives when they request a birth certificate.”

Hahahahahahahahahahahahah. The story is just getting going. Obamas father may not have been a muslim but he sure had no problem taking part in the multiple wives part. Obama’s mom was 17 when she began the relationship with Obama’s already married British/Kenyan citizen father, a marriage should not be allowed to be used to conceal a crime. We understand that Obama has a shrouded past a secret agent could only dream of having, we know that, and soon we are going to know all of it. It is obvious that even as Hawaii was just becoming a state it was already over run by Marxists I doubt anything has changed.

He may be a citizen, maybe, but there’s no way his a natural born citizen. It took 2 Americans for that tango.

    • az_conservative Says:

If he is legit and has nothing to hide, why not release all his records, including his real birth certificate? Why spend so much money to keep them hidden? Every President before him has released their school records, work records, military records, etc. We all have to produce birth certificates to get a drivers’ license, enter school, update our SS, and get a passport. What’s the problem with him releasing his to prove his eligibility for the highest office in the country? He allegedly represents ALL Americans, so if there is a question about this, then he should put it to rest for ALL Americans.

Consider for a moment the implications if it is found eventually that Obama is NOT eligible for office.

His refusal to release his records (any of them) simply begs the question, “What is he hiding?”

Lefties lie, and so-called Conservatives don’t do their homework.

“QUOTE: ‘The Certification of Live Birth is a legal document, but it is TOTALLY INADEQUATE when it comes to proving an individual was born in Hawaii.

The State of Hawaii DOES NOT EVEN ACCEPT the Certification of Live Birth as valid proof that an individual was born in Hawaii.

The Hawaii Department of Homelands, which administers programs to encourage property ownership for native Hawaiians states the following on its website.

In order to process your application, DHHL utilizes information that is found ONLY on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth(a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL’.”

And all that ZeroBlanko has is a redacted (tampered with) computer-generated one, at best.

A few things you will need the original birth certificate for, Little League registration, School registration, Social Security registration, to obtain a Passport, your first Driver license in the particular state you are applying in. They will not accept a copy. We saw Obama throw, we know he never played little league but he did go to several schools and I presume he has a SS card, Passport, Driver license. Obama is not a Manchurian candidate, no one was planning for him to one day be president, there was no cover up as he went along. The rush to sweep things under the rug has just begun but it’s hard to cover things up if you hadn’t been trying to cover your trail all along. And therein lies the problem for them.

  4. Greek Arctic Icebreaking Vessel Says:

I still think there is something fishy going on with Obama, BUT…

I was born in Oakland, California in 1969. My son was also born in Oakland, California – in 1993. (My wife is deceased and so not relavent to this quick story).

After my wife died in 1994, my son and I moved to the East Coast where we’ve been ever since.

Two years ago, we had a house fire and lost most of our things – including our original birth certificates.

I needed to get passports for both of us this spring. In order to get passports, I needed new copies of our birth certificates. It turns out that in California, at least, birth certificates are handled at the County level. Both my son and I were born in Alameda County, so it was the Alameda County government that I dealth with in order to get new copies of our certificates issued.

They sent me basically their version of the same Hawaiian document that Obama has produced.

I thought that it wasn’t the right form – that it wouldn’t be accepted by the State Department as good enough to issue a passport, so I called Alameda County.

What they told me is, unfortunately, exactly what Hawaii is now apparently saying about Obama’s paperwork:

Originals no longer exist and were intentionally destroyed “around the millenium.”

The documents they issued us – basically a laser-printed document on a fancy piece of paper with a seal stamped into it – is the only thing that they issue anymore. That’s what you get for a copy – and that’s what new babies born in Alameda County get.

So – for what it is worth, I think we’ve been barking up the wrong tree with this one as far as Obama and Hawaii are concerned.

    • tgusa Says:

Destroying original hard copy certificates at the time the guvmint and nation were frantically preparing for the Y2K information apocalypse and subsequent global riots? That’s the most insane thing I have ever heard. So I’m inclined to believe its true.

There’s a paper trail though, somewhere, I doubt everyone was dumb enough to destroy documents as quickly as that. I also believe that the apparent super smooth transition from paper to paperless at that time is extremely suspect. You could be right but we wont find out until they start cooperating.

    • az_conservative Says:

You may be right, but why won’t he release other documents that could help clear this up, such as his:
kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College and Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and adoption records.

    • GAIV,

I just got a copy of my CALIFORNIAN birth certificate two years ago.

Surprise, surprise! It is a copy of my ORIGINAL birth certificate.

Therefore, they DO NOT destroy the originals. The originals are kept in a vault. The person you talked to was just too lazy to go get the damn thing! The short form is what is on the computer database, not the original. Go ahead, pay the extra $$ and get a copy of your original birth certificate, and then when you get it, you can call the bastards up and tell them that they lied to you about not having the long form birth certificate!

      • Greek Arctic Icebreaking Vessel Says:

What County were you born in?

Also, it occurs to me that originals could have been photographed/microfilmed before being destroyed. Certainly microfilm technology existed from long before I was born. These days instead of microfilm, a document could of course be scanned and stored in a database prior to destruction.

None of this changes the fact that the State of Hawaii has articulated the process they went through and that whether we like it or not, it explains the situation with Obama’s birth certificate.

az_conservative is right, however. Where are his kindergarten, elementary and private high school records? Where is all of the university, law school and law career paperwork?

        • You’re getting distracted by trying to say that Hawaii has “articulated the process.”

No they haven’t! They’ve been less than forthcoming.

But, let’s assume that they destroyed the original (which they really haven’t).

They certainly HAD to make a copy of it on microfilm or computer.

Therefore, there exists an EXACT copy of Obama’s original Birth Certificate.

So, why doesn’t he release it?

Also, are you trying to tell me that Obama, himself, does NOT have a copy of his original Birth Certificate?

I find that hard to believe, since he has a driver’s license.

I’m confident that he DOES have a copy of the original, but doesn’t want the public to see it.

He’s already spent almost a million dollars in legal defense to keep it hidden.

There must be something REALLY interesting on that birth certificate!

  5. oaks777 Says:

My husband and I applied for our birth certificates, he in TN and I,KY, and we got certified copies of our birth certificates as the originals are still in Nashville and Frankfort. That was last year. No problem.
In this Lou dobbs interview, the main fact was left out, the Constitution sets the requirement for the qualifications for POTUS. That young liberal man who got so loud and verbal of what is the point does not know his Constitution—neither does Lou Dobbs to jump in with it to shut the young man up.

  6. Greenie Says:

Klein’s memo does not exactly quote Okubo as saying that the records were “discarded.”

Neither did the newspaper article say that she said that.

It looks to me to be a convenient assumption on the part of “researchers” who were doing Internet research and turned up that story from June. Klein did not say that his researchers contacted anyone at the Hawaiian DOH to ask any questions about birth certificates. The merely quoted Okubo second hand, from that newspaper article.

The point is that Hawaii no longer receives paper reports from hospitals about births. The DOH receives the reports electronically from hospitals. (They probably save those reports, too.) Then they enter the data into a database and from that database, COLBS are printed and sent to people in the mail (or in person). So, anybody born after they made this changeover in 2001 won’t have the traditional paper long-form birth certificate.

BUT anybody who was born when there were such long-forms, still can get copies of them.

There’s an e-mail on another blog that somebody got from Hawaii DOH. It says that the long-form original is copied only under two circumstances: An order by a judge OR when the original had “diacritical” marks on it.

I suspect the reason for that is that they created the database from which they print the abstract by scanning the originals using OCR software, which didn’t correctly handle all text documents (such as those with diacritical marks).

In any case, it defies belief that they would hire legions of data entry operators to key enter the data from every birth certificate they had on file from 1908.

These documents had to have been scanned, so even if the paper documents were “discarded,” which I doubt, they still exist in electronic form and they still can be viewed to determine exactly what Obama’s original birth certificate said in 1961.

Last week, I found a pdf that documents the steps that the Hawaiian government has to go through to preserve and protect historical documents. This was after 9/11.

What I suspect is that they put the originals into a fireproof, floodproof vault for safekeeping, after microfilming and/or scanning every birth certificate in their archives. Therefore, the clerks no longer have access to the originals, but only to the database containing the abstracted data or possibly to the microfilm/digital scans of the originals.

There’s no way that a department of any state government would simply discard hundreds of thousands of historical documents like birth certificates, without an order from the legislature or the governor.

Certainly it would be very newsworthy, so where are the news articles from 2001 advising the Hawaiian people that their original birth records were on the verge of being DESTROYED?

Magnetic data can be easily erased through accident (or EMPs), so surely they must have redundant storage/preservation methods.

In addition, Native Hawaiians, historians, and genealogists would be particularly interested in those ORIGINAL paper birth records.

These researchers at CNN were looking for anything that they could use to shut Dobbs up and to mislead the public.

This lie that the originals have been destroyed is simply too convenient, because Dobbs kept asking why Obama won’t release the ORIGINAL instead of a document that certifies that another document exists.

And this IS what a CERTIFICATION of live birth DID represent up until very recently, when Hawaiian spokespersons conveniently changed their tune and started to say that the abstracted CERTIFICATE of live birth is the “birth certificate.”

They no longer produce any CERTIFICATION of live birth. So, Obama doesn’t have an original OR a new, abstracted, electronically produced “birth certificate” because what’s on the Web is not a CERTIFICATE of live birth, it’s a CERTIFICATION of live birth.

Got it? Probably not, because the goal is confusion. The more confusing the issue is, the harder it will be for the American people to grasp the reality and the seriousness of the issue.

The bottom line: Obama, our employee, has not sufficiently proven that he meets the requirements for POTUS.

All he has to do to prove it to his employers (We the People) is to be as transparent as he promised he would be when he was a candidate.
