“Independent” Report: ACORN’s Crap Doesn’t Stink

Of course, we already knew that this “independent” investigation was a sham from the get-go.   It’s kind of like the fox hiring the wolf to report to the farmer on the “hen house incident…”

ACORN Probe: No Illegal Pattern in Videos
Internal Investigation Finds No Pattern of Intentional, Illegal Conduct in Undercover Video of Community Group

(AP)   An internal investigation of the community-organizing group ACORN found no pattern of intentional, illegal conduct by ACORN staffers on undercover videos shot by conservative critics of the group.

[Yes, I’m sure the ideological persuasion of the under-cover reporters was essential in evaluating the videos…]

In a 47-page assessment that former Massachusetts Attorney General Scott Harshbarger was commissioned by the organization to do, he criticized ACORN’s management as not moving fast enough to institute reforms after an alleged eight-year coverup by ACORN founder Wade Rathke of an embezzlement by his brother.

ACORN’s leaders are “now reaping what Rathke sowed,” wrote Harshbarger, who was brought in to investigate.

[…]

[Yup, a “gimme” that no one seems to care about.  Therefore, it was made the main focus of the report in an effort to somehow add to the impression of impartiality on the part of the investigators…  It’s an old, cheap trick that doesn’t impress anyone with half a brain.]

[RE – The undercover videos: ]

“We did not find a pattern of intentional, illegal conduct by ACORN staff involved; in fact, no action, illegal or otherwise, was ever taken by any ACORN employee on behalf of the videographers,” Harshbarger said in a statement. “Instead, the videos represent the byproduct of ACORN’s longstanding management weaknesses, including a lack of training, a lack of procedures and a lack of on-site supervision.”

[…]

Ah, yes.  The old “lack of training” excuse…  Seems to me that since EVERY ACORN office assisted the undercover journalists in setting up a brothel loaded with underage illegals, the employees were all trained the same way.  That doesn’t show a lack training; that shows a consistent philosophy of systematic and widespread corruption.

Conservative critics. Because no one would expect liberal criticism of child prostitution. once you understand the lingo and the ideology behind it the media becomes easy to decipher.

Did you even read the report? Can you explain why the videographers refused to participate in the report? Why they did not choose to hand over “raw footage”? Well that is fine when the subpoenas come down from the court case we shall get to see the raw footage. It is funny how editing can make a story look the way it does.

    • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny how dumb Lefturds and Libtards are.

Here’s a question for you: Can you explain how a report can honestly conclude that they found no pattern of intentional, illegal misconduct when: a) they were unable to view all of the videos; and, b) EVERY video that has been released, with the exception of one, shows ACORN employees, in multiple states, going out of their way to assist in an illegal venture?

BTW – Be careful what you wish for; Having seen several raw, unedited copies of the undercover videos, I welcome the raw video. It shows beyond a shadow of a doubt just how corrupt ACORN is!
