Breaking: Mubarak Resigns

Egypt’s VP Suleiman just announced this.  I’ll update when more info becomes available.

Mubarak resigns, hands power to military

CAIRO – Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak resigned as president and handed control to the military on Friday, bowing down after a historic 18-day wave of pro-democracy demonstrations by hundreds of thousands. “The people ousted the president,” chanted a crowd of tens of thousands outside his presidential palace in Cairo.

Several hundred thousand protesters massed in Cairo’s central Tahrir Square exploded into joy, waving Egyptian flags, and car horns and celebratory shots in the air were heard around the city of 18 million in joy after Vice President Omar Suleiman made the announcement on national TV just after nightfall.

“In these grave circumstances that the country is passing through, President Hosni Mubarak has decided to leave his position as president of the republic,” a grim-looking Suleiman said. “He has mandated the Armed Forces Supreme Council to run the state. God is our protector and succor.”

So Egyptians are trading torturous leadership for torturous murderous leadership? Oh goody.

And the Egyptian man on the street was overheard saying, well I’ll be damned…

This is the best scenario possible, they got rid of the only man that could control them. Now the islamic world will bleed as nations, clerics and thugs all attempt to take power. Like sharks to blood, mohammeds minions will do our work for us.

The best killers of muslims have always been muslims.

This is the islamic worlds one chance for change, seventh of twenty first century? There can be only one.

    • The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, [and] kingdom against kingdom. And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts. – Isaiah 19:1-4

This mess started because the people lost their handouts on food and fuel, unable to feed themselves they revolted. Granted every nut job and his sister joined in but islam needs blood. Better, they feed on themselves. Let the youth of islam rise up against their elders, the same ones that taught them to hate and thirst for blood, while filling their own pockets as they starved them.

I am betting no Saudi Royal is sleeping well tonight. They know their day is coming.

But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
        Ezekiel 20:7-9

And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.
        Ezekiel 30:7-9

I absolutly agree islam is collapsing its sytem finally failed. Its ‘martyrs’ died for nothing. muhammad failed.

In shock and horror muhammad struggles against the chains that bind him in hell… But to no avail his theocracy has died and no one mourns his memory or the collapse of the system he put together by murder, warfare, slavery and all other man made horrors.
