Fired Qur’an Burning New Jersey Transit Employee Gets His Job Back Along With Back Pay and $25,000 for Pain and Suffering

Excellent news!  Turns out, you CAN use the ACLU to undermine the spread of Sharia.  You just need to convince them that it’s all about the Freedom of Speech.

You know, I really like New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, bu I’m still heck-a miffed at him for supporting the NJ Transit Authority’s firing of Derek Fenton for merely exercising his Right to Free Speech.  Let this be a teaching moment for Gov. Christie;  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Although I disagree about burning a quran I am glad he got his job back.

    Hi Doc, Ronin,
Thanks for posting this. I just posted your title and linked back here for anyone wanting to read the post.

Is that how u understand freedom of speech? Firstly, this is against any sort of freedom. If u don’t believe in Islam , leave those who believe in it to fool themselves , if that’s how u see them. I think freedom of speech has nothing to do with hurting peoples’ feelings and humiliating them.

How would u feel if some people ,just because they don’t believe in Christianity, burnt the Holy Bible? Would u still call that freedom of speech?

In fact, I see that as a terrorist action as it might lead to the idea of ” since we burnt their Holy book , why don’t we burn them?” Just like what Hitler did in the Jews when he burnt them in the holocaust , which is completely null and void.

Lastly, I’d like to thank Islam isn’t for me for his opinion.

    • Ronin Says:

It is freedom of speech because Americans can still speak out against evil. Islam has been a cancer on humanity long enough.

Had muslims learned to control themselves centuries ago, islam would have infested the world. Only because your cult kills mostly other muslims are the numbers so low.

Had Pastor Jones never been born, your cult members would still be killing people over some “insult”.

I do not support burning books but I would support Christians burning three mosques every time a single church is attacked. Reality is they would never do it because they are better than muslims, more tolerant and more peaceful. And yet they far outnumber muslims, I guess God has a favorite.

  4. Ismail Says:

    Dear Ronin
First, it wasn’t actually an action of speaking , it was an action of terrorism. Just like the example u have just given of attacking churches. This wasn’t done by real muslims but by terrorists just like the ones who burnt the Holy Quran. In fact I’m against attacking churches , mosques or synagogues as well as burning the holy books of Torah, Bible or Quran. I’m against terrorism. I’m sorry to find American person , who is supposed to fight for freedom, fighting against it.

My advice to you, if I may, don’t mix up between any heavenly religion and some terrorist action coming from unresponsible people.

    • tgusa Says:

The ideology behind this is not terrorism it is islamofascism and it exists even if you refuse to acknowledge its existence. It is not a tiny minority, if it were, we would see the majority confronting it rather than making excuses for it. The US guvmint and our courts are proving for us that islamofascism is a cancer that infects many who come into contact with it and right now the people in power seem to be succumbing to it. Freedom of speech, the 1st Amendment of our Bill of Rights was put in place not to protect accepted speech but to protect speech that might be considered unfriendly, speech that might hurt some peoples feelings and really, if you feel humiliated, well, isn’t that the, root of the problem?

Keep up the denial and pretty soon no one, that’s no one in the world who is a non muslim will want to be anywhere near you. Now you don’t want that do you? You see, the islamofascists are defining you just as they are defining our own cancer within. Someday you will come face to face with God and you will be forced to explain your actions, be prepared.

    • Ismail,

I don’t know about you, but my Bible says that burning evil books helps to empower and advance the Word of God:

“A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.” – Acts 19:19-20 (NIV translation)

You wouldn’t want to keep me from freely practicing my religion and spreading the Word of God, now would you?

  5. islams not for me Says:

Unfortunately I know a few things about how islam works.

Islamic countries take away Bibles from Christian visitors and burn them daily. Because they consider them to be obslete.

Since the Torah is the Theocratic system and history of the Jews. And the Christian Bible is the history and moral system of Christians that makes the quran an easy target as well.

AFter all the quran is merely a censored version of the Torah, Christian Bible, and various religions muhammad knew during his life.

American Freedom of speech is also used by moslems to burn Bibles, Burn the American flag and other acts of protest.

But does that mean that islam is better than other Faiths?

    No it does not.

  6. islams not for me Says:

Burning a quran in protest is protected under Americas legal system. However… Destroying that book doesn’t cancel out its teachings, ideas, THeocratic system etc.

Only Information and better arguments against islam can change a moslems heart.

  7. Bob Says:

Ismail, Maybe you need to go back to school and discover that burning a book is not an act of terrorism, but burning a human being, or cutting off their hands, or burying them up to their neck and stoning them to death, or crashing an airplane into a building full of people, most definitely is.

  8. Ismail Says:

    Dear you

I’m sorry to inform you that what you know about Islam and Islamic countries is wrong. I live in Egypt where the majority of residents are muslim. We don’t have the habit of burning Bibles , as you’re claiming.

I’m very happy with ur evaluation to the Quran. As Muslims believe that Islam is the last heavenly religion the introduces the essence of Christianity and Judaism which perfectly match what you’re saying.

Regarding ur claim is that Quran is a man made thing and Mohamed (PBUH) composed the Quran based on his knowledge of the other religions, this is not right. As Mohamed PBUH was raised in an atheist society where the people used to worship man made statues and he wasn’t exposed to any heaven religion.

As for burning the American flag, that was due to what the American army has done in Iraq. However, Obama’s visit to Egypt was totally welcomed and he wasn’t attacked by muslims that u c them barbarians.

  9. islams not for me Says:

Well your from Egypt eh… Good for you.

Although I cant immediately find evidence that moslems burn Jewish or Christian Holy books according to sharia law in Egypt.

Ive read plenty of evidence that moslems in Egypt burn Coptic homes, churches and committ themselves to ritoing over rumors and lies.

Muhammad was not born in a atheistic society but one of paganism that goes all the way back to his grandfather.

Muhammad came into contact with many groups from Jews to Gnostics during his lifetime and these religious ideas were brought into his religious part of his Theocratic system called islam.

I know this because I have read the quran and hadiths in my native language and easily saw that muhammads ideas were flawed.

  10. Ismail Says:

    Dear all

There is no evidance that muslims behind the burning of churches in Egypt.Simply, we ,as muslims, are advised by prophet Mohamed PBUH to take care of chrisitians in his las speech before he died. I’m not saying that there is no minor conflict between extremists from both sides. However, the majority of muslims and christians are on very good terms together. The biggest evidence is that during 25th Jan revolution ,that you may have heard of it, muslims were protecting christians while they are praying and vice versa.

Again, it’s very tricky to generalise any negative aspect in any society to judge people all over the world.

If we had applied your logic of generalization, I coud have said that all Americans are terrorists or extremists due to all the agrresive deeds of the American soldiers in Iraq “Abo Ghareeb Prison”. But I’m sorry to tell you that we muslims are way more civilized and open minded as we can tell the difference between unreliable group of soldiers and peacful American citizens.

    • Ronin Says:

Save it, do you seriously think that you are the first muslim that stopped by here and attempted to BS us? Really? Are you sure that at least a few hundred have not stopped in before you? We have been here for many years now, you might want to re-think it before answering.

  11. tnr Says:

Moderate and civilized Egyptian Muslims attacking and burning Christian shops and houses in Abu Qurqas, Upper Egypt, earlier this week ( and please don’t generalize- they are not terrorists – just open-minded people 😦 ) :

Upper Egypt’s military prosecution ordered on Tuesday the detention of 18 people for 15 days pending investigations into sectarian clashes in Minya on Monday that killed two and injured four others.

The detainees are facing charges of murder, rioting, damaging public utilities, and spreading panic among citizens, according to judicial sources. If convicted they will face five to 15 years in prison, the sources said.

The dispute started between a Christian family and a Muslim family in Abu Qurqas on Monday, when the latter objected to the erection of a speed bump in front of the house of a Coptic former National Democratic Party member.

The confrontations renewed on Wednesday when two Muslims quarreled with a Christian neighbor, resulting in two hospitalizations.

Police and armed forces worked on restoring stability, meeting with Christian and Muslim clerics and asking them to help placate the feuding citizens.

Christians make up an estimated 75 percent of Abu Qurqas’ population.

  12. islams not for me Says:

1400 years of aggression by moslems can’t be swept out. Even if your fellows didn’t non muslims the threat is always there.

You… ismail might be ‘civilized’. But theres alot of moslems through islams culture that are beasts. And it is up to you to tame them.

As a former American soldier we are ALWAYS Under orders not to harm civilians. Those that do are punished. As for Abu Ghraib those soldiers who did so were punished. And thier ‘handlers’ punished as well.

  13. Ismail Says:

    Dear all

I’m very happy to see more people involved in the conversation. Let me say something on every comment:

    1. Doctorbulldog: I’m really surprised to know that Christianity, religion of aboslute mercy and elevated sprituality, orders christian to burn the holy books of other religions. If you want to burn the holy Quran, fine do it . I’m sure God is able to protect his word. As someone said before,Quran isn’t just in their Holy book. This is true. It’s been in their hearts for over 1400 years and will be like that till the end of the world.

2.Bob: Islam doesn’t order muslims to do the following:
    a. burning human beings
    b. burying people alive and stonening them to death
    c. killing innocent people
If you have an evidence against this, please say it. If you found some muslims who did that , they did something against the religion of Islam and must be punished for doing that.As for cutting heads,if you’re referring to this action as an element of the Islamic legislation, although this is a separate issue, but in countries that decided to take Islam as their source of legislation, this will an action of punishment to anyone in this country ,muslim or non muslim, who does grave thing like killing someone. It’s just like sentencing people to death in man made laws that exist in non-Islamic ,civilized countries that you probably have nothing against them!!

Ronin: I know you might have been around for too long. Not only you, many others who are like you. Those who attack Islam and muslims and judge them based on the fake picture they have made based on the terrorist actions of so called muslims that me and all muslims are against.

tur: I said earlier that minority from both sides, due to ignorance and poverty, do foolish action. Dear, all the “crimes” you have mentioned happened in some parts of upper Egypt. We are almost 88 million Egyptions. This is considered minority. What you probably don’t know and you might not find in the press. The old regime of Mubarak was after not only keeping these clashes between muslims and christians but also creating them. The grand Imam of Al-Azhar went to congratulate chrisitians on the reopening of the church in Soul village that was bombed by “terrorists”. Surprisingly enough, we found in the mosque of Omar Makram mosque the same kind of bomb that bombed the church in Alexandria in the New Year Eve. Does that mean anything to you? We’re not ordered by Islam to burn any place where people worship God or harm them or their books.

Islams not for me:In any place, you’ll find good people and bad people. It’s tricky to say all people are good or all of them are bad.I’m very happy to know that those soldiers were punished for what they did in Iraq. I’m totally with you that those, including muslims, who kill civilians must be punished.

Happy Easter to all of youm friends

    • Ronin Says:

We judge islam by the actions of muslims. We have yet to meet one of you that will admit that mohammed would have be judged as a madman, a criminal pedophile and worse if he lived today. He would have been jailed for life or executed if he were born in the USA. In the ummah he would still be a hero.

I will not list all mohammeds crimes because I think that you already know them. Worse than his crimes are the ones that he continues to inspire.

Any muslim that can consider such a man as a role model is guilty of passive support to terror and passive support is still support.

»»»Islam doesn’t order muslims to do the following:

All right- but Jews, Christians, apostates and atheists are not considered “innocent” people :

Qur’an 1:7: not those upon whom wrath is brought down, nor those who go astray.

Egyptian Muslims burn St.George Coptic Orthodox Church in Rafah on January 25th 2011 …

    • Ismail,

“Doctorbulldog: I’m really surprised to know that Christianity […] orders christian to burn the holy books of other religions”

See? There you go misunderstanding Christianity again. Christians aren’t ordered to burn books; however, they CAN burn books if they feel the need to do so. It’s a free-will type of thing that I doubt you would be able to fully understand.

“2.Bob: Islam doesn’t order muslims to do the following:
      “a. burning human beings
“b. burying people alive and stonening them to death
      “c. killing innocent people
“If you have an evidence against this, please say it.”

      a. – “When he [Muhammad] asked him about the rest [of the treasure] he refused to produce it, so the apostle gave orders to al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam, “Torture him until you extract what he has.” So he kindled a fire with flint and steel on his chest until he was nearly dead. Then the apostle delivered him to Muhammad bin Maslama and he struck off his head.” (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 764)

Hm… Sounds like Muhammad had no problems with burning human beings to find out where the booty was hidden. One does wonder why, if Muhammad was such a great prophet and all, he didn’t just ask Allah to tell him where the loot was hidden. But, I digress.

      b. As for burying people alive… You’re right—Muhammad made sure his victims were good and dead before he buried them:

      The Genocide of Banu Qurayza:

“Then the Messenger of Allah commanded that ditches should be dug, so they were dug in the earth, and they were brought tied by their shoulders, and were beheaded. There were between seven hundred and eight hundred of them. The children who had not yet reached adolescence and the women were taken prisoner, and their wealth was seized.” Tafsir Ibn Kathir – The Campaign against Banu Qurayzah

      Continuing on:

      c. “And when the sacred months are passed, kill those who join other gods with God wherever ye shall find them; and seize them, besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush: but if they shall convert, and observe prayer, and pay the obligatory alms, then let them go their way, for God is gracious, merciful.” – Sura 9:5

I find the definition of “innocent” to be highly subjective in Islam.

So, what’s your definition of “not innocent?” Those who reject Islam, or those whose only crime is joining other gods with Allah?

Either way, these people were merely practicing their own religion, and yet Muhammad had them indiscriminately killed. Surely not all of those people who joined other gods with Allah were at war with Muhammad. Where is this tolerance and respect for other religions that you speak of?
