Former President George W. Bush has turned down President Barack Obama’s invitation to join him at ground zero on Thursday, citing his desire to avoid the media glare.

“President Bush appreciated the invite, but has chosen in his post-presidency to remain largely out of the spotlight,” Bush spokesman David Sherzer told POLITICO in an email Tuesday night. “He continues to celebrate with all Americans this important victory in the war on terror.”

Bush, who grabbed a bullhorn and vowed to avenge the attacks during a visit to the trade center’s smoking ruins days after bin Laden’s terrorists struck, will attend the 10th anniversary commemoration of the nation’s worst terror attack on Sept. 11, 2011, Sherzer said.

True. Bush was smart to decline. Good for him.

Appears everyone is rejected the Usurper Obama these days.

The Obamas were even uninvited to the Royal Wedding.
William said they did not want the Obamas to attend and steal his bride’s wedding day.

These frauds are hated throughout the world and a complete embarrassment and disgrace.

Sorry to get a bit off subject but it all ties back in to Bush’s decision not to be used by this fraud.

Former Pres. Bush like him or not has always acted like a gentleman, and has not second guessed or made any comments concerning the present administration.

I greatly appreciate the fact that former President Bush continues to serve this country on his own time, without announcing intentions to the media, hence avoiding making his acts silly circus events which are all about him. Class Act
