Kansas Gives Islamic Supremacy the Boot! Governor Signs Anti-Sharia Bill

Of course, being a typical politician, he kept it on the down low and didn’t tell anyone until Friday:

Brownback signs bill blocking use of Islamic law

Gov. Sam Brownback has signed into law a bill aimed at keeping Kansas courts or government agencies from basing decisions on Islamic or other foreign legal codes.

Brownback’s office notified the Senate of his action Friday, but he actually signed the measure Monday. The new law will take effect in July. Muslim groups had urged him to veto the measure, arguing it promotes discrimination. Supporters say it simply restates American values. Supporters have worried about Shariah law being applied in Kansas courts. However, they also point out that the bill doesn’t specifically mention codes within the Islamic legal system. Instead, it says courts or other tribunals can’t base rulings on any foreign law or legal system that would not grant rights guaranteed by state and U.S. constitutions.

  1. Big Frank Says:

All of the lackeys, lapdogs, apologists, and sycophants of Islam get their underwear in a knot when a state passes legislation, confirming that the Constitution of the USA and state, county, and local laws supported by it are to be the only laws governing this nation. As I have stated before if the ‘followers of the teachings of the prophet’ want to live and be governed by Sharia or Islamic laws may I suggest that they migrate ASAP to the ‘Islamic Paradise’ of their choice. Once there they can live without the hassle of daily contact with the unclean and unholy Infidel. They can have their lives and very existence controlled by the Imams (who BTW change the rules at their whim) and enforced by the always brutal ‘religious police’. They can leave behind all of that Western ‘nonsense’ such as modernity, personal freedom and liberty, economic and educational opportunity. As far as justice goes they won’t have to bear the cumbersome legal system granting Habeas Corpus, due process, and a public trial. As far as the accusation of alleged discrimination , that’s a crock of BS. Fairness and equal protection under the law are alien to the Islam mindset, which is based on complete domination. .
