Navy SEALS Come Out Swinging Against Obama

In the Navy, they have a saying, “Loose Lips Sink Ships.”

Never forget:  In Obama’s and Biden’s rush to self-aggrandize themselves in the execution of Bin Laden, they helped kill 38 military men, 20 of which were Navy SEALS (with the majority of those belonging to SEAL Team 6).

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A group of former U.S. intelligence and Special Forces operatives is set to launch a media campaign, including TV ads, that scolds President Barack Obama for taking credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden and argues that high-level leaks are endangering American lives.

Leaders of the group, the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund Inc, say it is nonpartisan and unconnected to any political party or presidential campaign. It is registered as a so-called social welfare group, which means its primary purpose is to further the common good and its political activities should be secondary.

In the past, military exploits have been turned against presidential candidates by outside groups, most famously the Swift Boat ads in 2004 that questioned Democratic nominee John Kerry’s Vietnam War service.

The OPSEC group says it is not political and aims to save American lives. Its first public salvo is a 22-minute film that includes criticism of Obama and his administration. The film, to be released on Wednesday, was seen in advance by Reuters.

“Mr. President, you did not kill Osama bin Laden, America did. The work that the American military has done killed Osama bin Laden. You did not,” Ben Smith, identified as a Navy SEAL, says in the film.

Speaking as a civilian I am stunned at the blatant disregard for national security with what information is being blindly disclosed. There was a time in our country that this sort of action would be considered treason and even punishable by death.

Lately I have cause to recall the words of Captain Nim (George Takei) talking to the reporter, George Beckworth (David Janseen) in The Green Berets,
Reporter; Are the VC that close?
Capt. Nim; I have VC in my own strike force!

Loose lips sink ships but bad policy destroys countries.

Swift-Boating refers to an unfair and dishonest attack, especially on an opponent’s perceived strength (Kerry went, Bush didn’t, and no one doubts that the Texas Air Nat’l Guard was dodge for the privileged during Vietnam).
Obama made a gutsy call that he knew could have ended like Desert One did for Carter, so that has to be swift-boated. Abandon the ship named integrity boys.
“The OPSEC group says it is not political and aims to save American lives.” There’s lie number one. Many more to come, I’m sure.

You never served, your lie number one. Anyone who has served this country wouldn’t have that belief. This administration is corrupt through and through and is lead by the biggest traitor and anti-American

You do realize that things have changed dont you? The fact is the helicopter technology in those days was evolving and as a result crashing all around me right here in the USA. Seemed like every month we would hear about another copter going down with a load of Marines on board. Yeah, the policy is great when you have to go in to a so called allied country, into the San Diego of Pakistan, to kill an enemy leader. Comparing Carter, Iranian islamofascists holding US hostages to Obama and a raid on our supposed allies to take out an islamofascist, you must be a rocket scientist. The primary difference between Crater of then and Obama of now is, Carter was on our side back then, or so we though at least.

      Proud,
Wake up and smell the war. It is obvious that Bin Laden had served his purpose and the best thing to do to him was send him off to paradise. I see the Bin Laden killing as cooperation between Pakis and Democrats, remember, democrats called our men Nazis for going into homes in the middle of the night in a war zone, Iraq. Can you see the difference between going in to an allied country to kill an unarmed hostageless man as opposed to going in to an enemy country to kill armed men who are holding US citizens as hostages? Go ahead, make a gutsy call.

The American public was led to believe that the war in Vietnam was going much worse than it really was, not that the guidance of the war didn’t have its problems. The same media we have today believe they have received a pass on the past but even if it takes a hundred years we will see justice served. We will not rest until they are dug up, cremated and buried in an unmarked grave in some foreign craphole.

No matter what the general public thought about the war the majority never thought badly about the war vets, a mistake that Kerry’s people made. However, the public did view a former officer in that war coming back here an d stabbing Americans in the back, well we did think of him and his kind as sleazes. We still do.

The public were led to believe that our troops there were worse than communists. In the light of day, decades on, we now know that communist victories are worse than the wars against them. I will say one thing, the primary difference between Vietnam and now is, that in Vietnam we had a few allies in country. Also, reflecting on the medias reporting of the Iran debacle, in retrospect they seemed quite pleased, almost giddy, they are traitors, then and now. On the other hand I have had the pleasure of knowing multitudes of Vietnam war vets and they are nothing like the media or Kerry, and yes, they are even better than communists.
