You just know that on day one of Obamacare’s roll-out, CNN’s senior medical correspondent, Elizabeth Cohen, was thinking that she would immediately log onto the government’s healthcare website; enroll in Obamacare; and,  file a glowing report about how wonderful and majestic the government run healthcare system was.

Well, two weeks later, she’s been at it every single day and the reality of just how much of a failure the Obamacare roll-out is seems to be finally sinking in…

Ronin’s Common Sense Solutions to Gun Control Measures

By Ronin, 14 Feb 13 With all the calls for common sense gun control measures like the recent NY ban on what idiots refer to as “assault” weapons”, “large clips” and sensible solutions like weapon registration, limits to ammo etc.  I thought I would add a little stick to stir the pot. 

The easiest way to fight back is not to play their game.  No living politician wrote the constitution and none of them can change it.  Politicians will attempt to force compliance with a variety of measures from painting those that refuse as criminals, insane, dangerous, outlaws.  They will also offer rewards and pick a few misguided cowards (those that do as they say) and parade them around in the press as heroes (after all they surrendered their guns).

Educate each other, hunters and sportsmen, and legitimate gun owners as the media refer to us are all in this together.  Unfortunately a few will drink the cool-aid, remind them once we are divided we are easily all disarmed.   We are only demanding our rights be respected; we do not all live in a gated community with armed guards.   If we are ever disarmed, immediately start making demands that police are also.  We can win without breaking laws using civil disobedience, outright resistance and refusal and only as a last resort, unlawful methods.  Face it, we or one of our kind, will instantly turn from law abiding citizen to felon overnight at that point you have very little to lose.   

So what to do?  First and foremost do the research.  Identify everyone that voted for any restriction, call them, write them or visit them.  Let them know using any method that you can that you will never again vote for them or any other member of their political party.   Let them know that you will volunteer to help anyone running against them and follow through.  I suggest you publish your list and letters on facebook or similar social media so others can join in the ban the politician party.

It may be a small number but I believe at least some politicians are hoping for a few outraged gun owners to bunker up and fight to the death.  This will add endless proof that gun owners really are a problem.  Politicians would then call for confiscation, extreme criminal penalties for non-compliance and a host of other punishments.  Call their bluff; their worst nightmare is an outraged public asking why they are targeting citizens over criminals.  The closer to an election the better, trust me they do not want drama then.  Watch the blogs and watch and spread our outrage when these idiots actually grow a set and arrest someone for not registering a weapon.  We will expose, the who, what and why, that is what we do.  You can help. 

Because I think fighting first responders is wrong when politicians are the actual problem (and we can just vote those idiots out).  We need a nonviolent solution.  This would be the easy way to defeat this problem.  Monitor the crime stats for your area and call and report someone carrying an evil assault weapon in the most gang active area you can find.  Other options could also be fun, like tossing weapons in neighborhoods near the homes of officers, they leave those shiny cars in the driveway, report them for noncompliance.  If you get caught you were turning the weapon in, as framing an officer is not exactly legal but then again neither is placing limits on our 2^nd amendment rights. I do not want to be a criminal, they have no right to make me one.

Disabled Marine rifles at inauguration signal shift in administration policy

“Didn’t know the Marines had to take the bolts out of their rifles for the Inaugural,” an email forwarded to Gun Rights Examiner from a United States Marine Corps source observed. “Wonder if someone can explain why [they] would be marching in the inaugural parade with no bolts in their rifles!”

The email linked to a YouTube video of the 57th Presidential Inaugural Parade, embedded in this column, featuring Bravo Company Marines from the Marine Barracks Washington. Sure enough, the observation in the email is confirmed by watching the video, with screen shots provided in the photo and slide show accompanying this article.

This prompted an internet search to see if others had also noticed, and the Blur-Brain blog had.

“The bolts have been removed from the rifles rendering them unable to fire a round,” the post stated. “Apparently Obama’s Secret Service doesn’t trust the USMC. Simply searching each guy to make sure he didn’t have a live round hidden on him wasn’t enough, they had to make sure the guns were inoperable.

Unsurprisingly, a Google news feed search finds no reports on inaugural Marine disarmament in the “Authorized Journalist” media. Chances are, most of them aren’t qualified to notice such things, and that it doesn’t serve the agenda of those who are to point such things out.

Chris Dorner’s Unredacted “Manifesto”

It’s no surprise to any of us that the Lame Stream Media (LSM) does its best to hide any photos of  L.A. cop killer Chris Dorner in his police uniform.  Instead, they flood the airwaves with images of him dressed in camouflage and military uniforms.  It’s all propaganda designed to influence public opinion by casting the military, veterans, and patriotic Americans in the worst light possible.

However, I ‘ve recently noticed a more disturbing trend:  The LSM has been busy redacting his “manifesto!”

Apparently, the Lame Stream Media is rewriting history by removing such gems as:

– Pro Gun Control

– Loves Obama

– Loves Piers Morgan,

– Fan of CNN and MSNBC

– Pro LGBT and Queer Marrriage

– Thinks Trayvon Martin should have cracked George Zimmerman’s skull open

… Which, of course, is exactly what Trayvon was trying to do, thus Zimmerman used his hand gun and shot in self defense.  But, I digress…

Anyway,  because the Lame Stream Media is once again engaged in a cover-up, I’ve decided to post the entire “manifesto” as I originally found it a few days ago.

In reading his manifesto, I unequivocally, without a doubt, believe Chris Dorner was wrongfully terminated by a corrupt LAPD hierarchy merely for blowing the whistle on “The Chupacabra.”  

Sure, I understand that the hotel workers at Doubletree Inn say that there was no police brutality, but, Chris Dorner believes he saw police brutality and saw fit to report it to his superiors.  It doesn’t matter if he was right or wrong about what he believes he saw.  What matters is that his supervisors fired him for bringing the incident to their attention.  That’s no way to run a police department.

For that, the LAPD absolutely needs to answer and those responsible for firing him need to be fired themselves!

However, that still doesn’t give Chris Dorner the right to go out and take the lives of others in a warped attempt at clearing his good name!

Anyway, I still haven’t been able to thoroughly read through his “manifesto”  without my eyes glazing over and my head feeling like someone is pounding on it with a jack-hammer.  But, if you think you are brave enough, have a go at it:

“Do you care about murders, or do you only care about murders with guns?” Nugent continued. “I don’t think you do — I think you care about guns. I think you’re obsessed with guns. 99.999 percent of the gun owners of America are wonderful people that you are hanging around with here today. Perfectly safe. Perfectly harmless. Wonderful, loving, generous, giving, caring people. Would you leave us the hell alone?”

Nugent said Morgan’s focus should be on mental health and convicted criminals.

Analysis Of Mass Shootings Since 1999 Shows Handguns Are Overwhelmingly The Weapon of Choice

Fascist like Piers Moron and Diane FienSwine who want to take your guns away would have you believe that scary looking rifles are the primary culprits in mass shootings.  Unfortunately for them, an analysis of over a decade of mass shootings says semiautomatic handguns are the most commonly used weapon of choice .

So, why do these Lefturds want to get rid of your rifles?  Well, it’s quite obvious; they wish to reduce your ability to defend yourself against a tyrannical government.  

They’ve already taken away your Right to full auto weapons manufactured after 1986 via the Firearm Owners Protection Act’s Hughes Amendment—which, by the way, did not have enough votes to pass, so, in the middle of the night and under the cover of darkness,  Charles Rangel somehow managed to weazel, err, wrangle his way into presiding over the House that night.  Then, when the Hughes Amendment came up, he refused an actual vote tally on it and declared that it had passed the House.  Then, with the help of the NRA, they convinced Ronald Reagan to just ignore the Hughes Amendment and sign the bill into law.  This is why I  dropped my NRA membership in 1986 and have never re-joined.  The NRA is just too damn Liberal for me!

If we were to jump on board the Knee-Jerk Express in order to “even save one child,” I’d say that all males between the ages of 17 and 48 should be executed.  It’s the only way to be sure…

The Wisdom of Al Sharpton: “People Do Not Have the Right to Unregulated Rights in This Country”

Um…  I’m pretty darn sure that if our Founding Fathers intended for our Rights to be regulated, they would have come out and just said so and wouldn’t have used such words in the Bill of Rights as,  “shall NOT be infringed,” and, “shall NOT be violated,” and, “Congress shall make NO law…”

Yup, Our Rights were set in stone by Our Founding Fathers.  However, over a century of Progressive Marxism in this country has chipped away at  those Rights to such an extent that now we have idiots like Al Sharpton running around who actually believe, “People do not have the right to unregulated rights in this country.”

Following a public policy meeting of African-American leaders, National Urban League president Marc Morial and National Action Network president Al Sharpton called for a new national assault weapons ban, saying the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution should be regulated.

“The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are not absolute. One cannot yell fire in a crowded theater and hide behind the First Amendment,” said Morial when asked by TheDC if he supports California Democratic Sen. Diane Feinstein’s assault weapon ban bill.

“And we absolutely think that the idea of banning a military style assault weapon, a weapon that I am confident that Thomas Jefferson and James Madison never laid their eyes on, is not inconsistent with the rights of those who self-protect, those who shoot, who want to participate in sporting and hunting,”

“No one has been more aggressive in our defense of the Constitution than this nation’s civil rights leaders. …We respect the Second Amendment,” Morial added. “None of these provisions speak in absolute terms.”

Uh, NO, Morial!  You DO NOT respect the Second Amendment.  If you REALLY respected it, you would respect that significant part of it which says, “shall NOT be infringed!”

What a lying sack of poodoo! 

Of course, this is a typical tactic that the Left uses; saying they respect and cherish something, just like you and I, but they’d just like to make some changes which they, personally, feel are for the better.

Hey, Morial, why don’t you try that tactic with your wife, Michelle Miller, over at CBS News?  Tell her you love and respect her, but you don’t think she means what she plainly and succinctly says she means and so you are going to fundamentally transform whatever she is says into whatever you wish her to say.

TheDC asked Rev. Sharpton if he agreed with Morial’s comments.

“Absolutely, I mean if you look at the Second Amendment it was that you would have militia to protect yourself in case the government came and attacked citizens,” he responded.

“First of all, if the government were to come to disarm you, you would not be able to use an automatic weapon to defend yourself. Let’s be serious. We’re in a world of drones now so the Second Amendment would not help you in that area. It is absurd to try to cite that.”

LOL!  He certainly doesn’t understand guerrilla warfare; you use your knife to acquire guns; your guns to acquire mortars; your mortars to acquire tanks; your tanks to acquire aircraft; your aircraft to acquire…  Well, you get the picture. 

The guns are a stepping stone to bigger and better weapons when the sh@t hits the fan and you find yourself in the cross-hairs of a fascist government.

“People do not have the right to unregulated rights in this country,” Sharpton continued. “And I think that for those that use the Second Amendment [they] are conceding that they have no argument on why you need a magazine with 100 rounds of ammunition or 30 rounds of ammunition.”

Reasonable Argument #1:  Because, I’m a terrible shot…  Really, I swear.  One bullet isn’t enough for me.   I need, like, a thousand rounds just to hit the backside of a barn.  Honest!

Reasonable Argument #2:  Because, violent mobs, by definition, are not a single person.

Reasonable Argument #3:  Because, if I have to defend myself from my government because Progressive Marxist @ssholes like you, Al Sharpton, have turned the government against its People, I’m gonna’ need all the firepower I can get!

Sharpton also said “everybody is regulated with every right,” using airports as an example.

“I don’t have the right to tell them at the airport that I cite the Constitution so I’m not showing you my ID and walk through,” he said.

There you have it folks; the Left will always use a prior violation of your Rights to justify another, bigger violation of your Rights.  First, they took away our sawed-off shotguns, then our machine guns ( with the help of the NRA! ).  Then, they used those violations of our Rights to enact Clinton’s Assault Weapons Ban.  That’s how they do it.  If they get this new Assault Weapons Ban passed, they’re gonna’ use it in the future as justification for taking your handguns and hunting rifles.  Mark my words!

Morial said he is “waiting for someone to suggest that the Second Amendment gives them the right to own a tank and to park it in their driveway.”

Um…  What point are you trying to make, Mr. Morial?  Just like owning an automobile, it’s perfectly legal to own a tank.    Sheesh!  What a moron!

“The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun,” he said. “Would you rather have your 911 call bring a good guy with a gun from a mile away, or a minute away?”

He said Congress must appropriate whatever funding is necessary to put armed security in every school in the country before students return from the holidays, and before “we engage in any lengthy debate over legislation, regulation or anything else.”

“If we truly cherish our kids more than our money, more than our celebrities, more than our sports stadiums, we must give them the greatest level of protection possible and that security is only available with properly trained armed good guys,” LaPierre said.

He also blamed the media as “silent enablers, if not complicit co-conspirators” when it comes to gun violence, saying there is a “national media machine” that rewards and gives wall-to-wall coverage of those who embark on violent shooting rampages and that “sells and sows violence against its own people” in the form of violent video games and gory blood-filled films.

On Thursday, George Zimmerman filed suit against NBC News and three NBC producers he accuses of intentionally painting him as a racist. Zimmerman and his attorneys have now done what many in the new media only dream of doing, holding the major media responsible for their biased and misleading output.

The language in the complaint is blunt. It calls NBC’s coverage “yellow journalism” and refers to “journalistic crimes.” Most broadly, the complaint accuses NBC of trumping up a racism narrative for ratings, with a name check of the Today Show and Rev. Al Sharpton in particular. Here are some of the highlights or, if you prefer, the media’s lowlights from the complaint:

• NBC saw the death of Trayvon Martin not as a tragedy but as an opportunity to increase ratings, and so set about to create the myth that George Zimmerman was a racist and predatory villain. Their goal was simple: keep their viewers alarmed, and thus always watching, by menacing them with a reprehensible series of imaginary and exaggerated racist claims.
• NBC created this false and defamatory mis-impression using the oldest form of yellow journalism: manipulating Zimmerman’s own words, splicing together disparate parts of the recording to create the illusion of statements that Zimmerman never actually made.
• Defendants pounced on the Zimmerman/Martin matter because they knew this tragedy could be, with proper sensationalizing and manipulation, a racial poweder keg that could result in months, if not years, of topics for their failing news programs, particularly the plummeting ratings for their ailing Today Show.
• The defendants media arson was ignited on March 19, 2012, when NBC and defendant [Jeff] Burside broadcast from Sanford, Florida the first manipulated audio of the call.
• Defendants’ improper juxtaposition of unrelated dialogue between Zimmerman and the dispatcher was specifically done to imply that Zimmerman had a racist motive.
• Only after defendants’ malicious acts were uncovered and exposed by other media outlets…did defendant NBC “apologize” and terminate some of those in its employ responsible for the yellow journalism identified in this Complaint.
• In addition to portraying Zimmerman as a racist via their manipulative editing, the defendants also falsely claimed, without any legitimate basis — and in spite of what the Sanford police had concluded — that Zimmerman also stated a “racial epithet” during the call.
• Only after other news and internet media identified these outrageous manipulations did NBC address them, with a sham “investigation” that attempted to sweep their yellow journalism — intended to exacerbate racial tensions, at the expense of Zimmerman and the truth — under the rug; NBC’s President, Steve Capus, made a bogus non-apology that claimed the doctoring was merely a “mistake.”
• All of the defendant’s actions have substantially contributed to a media frenzy including rallies provoked by NBC personnel such as the Reverend Al Sharpton (and employee of NBC, who reported on his own rallies on behalf of NBC) and public misunderstanding which has caused severe damage to the plaintiff, including death threats and a bounty for his capture.
• Due to the defendants’ journalistic crimes, Zimmerman has been transformed into one of the most hated men in America. Plaintiff seeks substantial compensatory and exemplary damages to punish the defendants for their outrageous fraud upon the public, designed to mislead our nation, create a national uproar, forever ostracize Zimmerman, and taint his jury pool, all to profit and attract attention to their television news programs.
