Imam jailed for abusing boys

A 34-year-old Indonesian imam, who was also the caretaker of a surau in Gadong, was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment and eight strokes of the rattan for performing immoral acts on three boys under his supervision, the police said yesterday.
He voluntarily taught 30 boys and girls to recite the Quran every Friday and Sunday and stayed at the Surau.
He was charged with eight counts, four of which came under Section 354, Criminal Procedure Code, Chapter 22 for immoral act on three boys aged between six and seven and another four under Section 26 (1) Children Order, 2000 for committing an act that hurt the feelings of the children under his supervision. It happened between November and December last year.
He pleaded guilty to all the charges in the presence of Senior Registrar Radin Shafiee bin Radin Mas Baisuni at the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate’s Court.
The court sentenced him in accordance to the criminal offence and told that as an Ustaz, who educates and look after underage children, he should not have got down to this level. In addition, the offences were carried out in a religious place frequented by worshippers.
The court sentenced him to two years’ imprisonment and two strokes of the cane for every charge.
However, the court took into consideration his guilty plea against all charges that saved the court’s valuable time in calling witnesses to attend the hearing.
The imam’s sentence began on December 30, 2008, the day he was detained.

I have no personal knowledge, but have heard many tales from the troops… The saying goes something like, “Muslims believe women are for making babies.. and boys are for pleasure.”
Like I said, I have no way of proving this statement, just passing one what was shared with me. From some of the stories that hit the news, we can see that children are not always treated as treasured gifts by all cultures.

Muhammad [P Be Upon Him] must have a good reason for sucking on that boy’s tongue. Perhaps the young lad had just been bitten on the tongue by a scorpion. Perhaps the naughty boy seduced him, in the manner of that little hussy Aisha.

As for the first hadith about Al Hassan, prophet’s grandson_______
Musnad Ahmad, Hadith number: 16245
“I saw the prophet – pbuh – sucking on the tongue or the lips of Al-Hassan son of Ali, may the prayers of Allah be upon him. For no tongue or lips that the prophet sucked on will be tormented (by hell fire)
This hadith is only found in Musnad Ahmad, therefore it is not considered Authenic and most muslims dont care for it. The most authentic collections are Sahih Al Bukhari and Imam Muslim. Anything other than that is shady. This story is extremly unlikely to have happened. Thus we do not accept it.
The second case______________________________

Ali was a baby and his mother was Fatimah Bint Asad, when she gave birth to her son, according to Al Zamakhshari the mother THEN ALLOWED HIM TO SUCK ON HIS TONGUE till he fell asleep because the baby was crying with his mother and the baby was fond of the Prophet Muhammed. Ali was a baby boy,

The baby’s mother allowed it, but regardless we do not consider Musnad Ahmad, there is a good chance this hadith was fabricated as it was not included in the most authenic hadith collection, Sahih Bukhari, and also as you read, this report came from Syrians, so its not reliable at all. There are thousands of a false hadiths which came hundreads of years after the Prophet Muhammed from even enemies of Islam. The narration chain looks dubious

Well for instance.
The quran was dictated by muhammad to 42 different scribes. Each writer & muhammad got their ideas from Christianity, Judaism and other religions. The problems is that the stories in the quran are totally incorrect from either Judaism or Christianity.
I can find no evidence in the quran or in islam to suggest that the Torah or Christian Bible is wrong.

How do you know that the quran is true ali? The characters named in it come from Judaism and Christianity how are their stories true in the quran?
