Obama’s New “Forward” Slogan Echoes Leftist MSNBC’s “Lean Forward” Slogan
Forward? Sounds to me like another dysphemism for “Progressive.” In the end, it’s all Newspeak for “Communism”:
(Note: If, like me, you retch every time Obama has the audacity to show his repugnant, paltering puss on TV, skip to the end of the video to right about the 7:01 mark).
The Obama Campaign Now Has The Same Slogan As MSNBC
Brett LoGiurato – BusinessInsider.com
Barack Obama’s re-election campaign today released a new video that unleashes a new slogan: “Forward.”
And the video also serves as the blueprint to the President’s strategy against Mitt Romney in the general election. It’s important for a team that built so much of its 2008 campaign on slogans that became part of political discourse — “Change we can believe in” and “Yes we can!” became the most popular.
Also, the slogan bears an uncanny resemblance to that of MSNBC, which unveiled the “Lean Forward” slogan in late 2010 in an attempt to highlight its progressive political leanings. (Here’s Al Sharpton in a video ad for the network, saying something nonsensical about blueberry pie.) So this should be fun for Fox News tonight.

UPDATE: I just remembered where I had heard that “Forward” slogan before…Mao Zedong’s “Great Leap Forward!!!”:
Yup, just like “Hope & Change,” it’s got “Commie” written all over it!
UPDATE 2: Since Commies love trains so much, this one’s starting to make the rounds:

Obama; If I’m not re-elected we will run out of burrito covering an ****!

Forward, I would have thought that something like, Eaten, would be most appropriate. Obama is a real Donner, I mean, downer.
30 April, 2012 at 6:52 pm
Considering that the other night, he all but admitted that he ate a Hockey Mom, I would have figured “Cannibal Holocaust” would have made the short list for his new slogans…
Um… Is that racist of me to even think that?
Cheers

Racist no, this is a cultural thing. He did live in Indonesia with that gourmet stepdad of his.
Forward, forward. The Hitler Youth anthem. Can’t make this stuff up!
30 April, 2012 at 10:00 pm
Hm… I thought the Hitler Youth Anthem was something like “The Flag Song” or something like that… Let me Google it…
30 April, 2012 at 10:10 pm
Okay, I just Googled it and HistoryPlace.com says it’s the “Banner Song.” However, they give the title as “Fahnenlied,” which, although my German is a bit rusty, translates in my head to “Flag Song.”
Nach vorn -or- vorwärts, I think, is commonly used to mean forward. I don’t know how someone got “forward” out of “Fahnen.”
Any links? It might be that I’m just too rusty on my German.
Cheers

Okay, I see now.
“Vorwärts!”
Googling around, it appears to be one of the Hitler Youth’s marching songs. Not their Anthem. Although…this book refers to it as “the martial Hitler Youth theme song:

And, thinking about it, there used to be a Socialist Party publication in Germany called “Vorwärts,” too!
Sheesh! With all those ties to Nazism, Communism, and Socialism, you would think the American public would wake up to the truth about Obama’s communism!
Cheers

Vorwarts, Vorwarts, Hogwarts, more warts! I guess it’s not the national anthem, just a minor anthem.
Obama knows nothing about other peoples history. He came, he saw, he chooses East Germany. I just refuse to believe that a majority of the Anglo sphere will side with National Socialism or Russian retards no matter what obama thinks or believes. Karl Marx was supposedly the smartest guy they had and look what that moron came up with. His problem was he didn’t have anyone from somewhere else to copy and as a result, what he came up with, sucks.

How right you are, we all remember the propaganda method of the Nazi party, ‘tell a lie big enough, and often enough, it becomes the truth’. Our ‘Dear Leader and his band of Socialist manipulators are using the same methods. Karl, Josef, Mao, Nikoli, Adolf, and Benito would have been proud.

Timing, it’s all about timing it is no mistake that the new slogan was introduced prior to the biggest and most important day in the Communist/Socialist calender.

Excellent point! I hadn’t thought about that, but I think you’re onto something!

Your allusions to “socialism” are grossly overstated. There are many Social Democracies that have a better standard of living that ours, have much better health care results than ours and far less poverty and deprivation. Nazi’s? The only Nazi’s left in the world are the skin-heads that populate YOUR kind of organizations. The cold war has been over for years yet you continue to live in the past. But even so, why do you prefer Oligarchy and Fascism over Social Democracy? Why do the hateful and egregious excesses of unrestrained Capitalism get a pass from you so easily?
Your spokespeople whine about death panels and health care rationing when corporate America has provided both in massive doses to our society for decades through greed ridden corporate for-profit health insurance.
You show a picture of a train wreck on your mast head and some how relate it to Obama who has provided 39 months of job growth and taken the stock market from the Bush low of around 6400 to 13,000+. So how would you describe the Bush near-depression of 2008?

Name just one “Social Democracy” that has a better standard of living than the United States of America, stooge!

Five days later, I’m still waiting for an answer to a simple question, stooge.
