Obama and His Sycophants in Washington Unwisely Laugh Off Tea Party Protests

Yup, public opinion and protests have very little to do with which way commie-Libtards will vote on a particular issue.  Commie-Libtards that are in office already know how they, themselves, are going to vote, what pet project socialist issues they are going to push for, what bills they are going to  implement,  etc.  Suffice to say that once a Commie-Libtard is in office, We the People have no voice in the matter, no matter how much we may stammer and scream.

So, why are the Tea Party protests so important if our politicians aren’t listening to us?

They are important because they organize and activate large groups of Americans who would otherwise just be sitting at home doing nothing, losing hope, and getting more and more depressed—finally just giving up, altogether, on the whole political process.

Tea Party protests are important because they attract more and more like minded individuals to a cause.  This, in turn, creates a HUGE VOTER BLOCK in all the local districts throughout America who are now coordinated and will vote in a coordinated fashion!!!

THAT is when your voice will finally be heard by these asshats in Washington!!!!!!

So, don’t despair.  The Tea Parties are there to organize and mount a full frontal assault against the enemy on election day!  Therefore, it matters not if the politicians and Lame Stream Media are blowing us off at this juncture.

Remember, if we stay active in protesting and organizing, they will hear from us at the polls—and Our Voice will be heard around the world!

Believe you me, after election day, the politicians will be courting us Tea Party Conservatives like a love-struck teenager!

White House Brushes Off Health-Care Protests

By HENRY J. PULIZZI – WSJ

WASHINGTON — The White House isn’t concerned that increasingly vocal protests around the country are frustrating its push for health-care legislation.

Briefing reporters Tuesday, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs suggested that the opposition is being organized by a small group seeking to create “manufactured anger.”

“I hope people will take a jaundiced eye to what is clearly the AstroTurf nature of so-called grass-roots lobbying,” Mr. Gibbs said.

In recent days, administration officials and Democratic members of Congress have been shouted down by angry protesters at town halls in Pennsylvania and Texas, an uproar that could grow when lawmakers return to their districts for the August recess.

Mr. Gibbs compared the protesters with the “Brooks Brothers Brigade” that he said appeared in Florida after the 2000 presidential election.

“I seem to see some commonality in who pops up at some of these things,” he said, without elaborating. “You can see quite a bit of similarity between who shows up where.”

While protests intensify, the White House also has stepped up its response. It reacted early Tuesday to one online video featuring clips of President Barack Obama appearing to suggest that his health-care plans would eventually replace the private insurance sector, producing its own video shooting down the claim. In the White House’s video, its main health-care spokesperson, Linda Douglass, accuses opponents of taking old footage and using it out of context as a scare tactic.

“They simply cherry-pick and put it together, and make it sound like he’s saying something that he didn’t really say,” Ms. Douglass says in the video, which can be seen on the White House’s Web site.

Asked why the administration decided to respond, Mr. Gibbs said, “There’s a tremendous amount of misinformation floating around on health care.”

[Yes, Mr. Gibbs, keep it up.  Keep marginalizing and insulting our intelligence.  Every time you do, we only grow stronger!!!]

Actually, you were an idiot long before you decided to drop F bombs.

    • Doc' Says:

Wow jerry, you are living proof that my belief that all ” libtard commies” are genetically predisposed to be total morons from birth is true! Furthermore jerry, I also firmly believe your genetic predisposition also automatically disqualifies you for acceptance into the “Heaven” you so adamantly insist anyone who doesn’t agree with your twisted mindset should depart this planet for.

Enjoy your time and freedom here on this planet while you can jerry, your next abode will not be nearly as tolerant and pleasant. 😉

Yeah, and it’s all coming from the White House!
Mr. Obama must not be much of a student of history, or he has forgotten just what followed that first Boston Tea Party.
It would be my hope that he remembers before it’s too late, however I also truly believe his arrogance is unshakeable.

  3. Mark Says:

“There’s a tremendous amount of misinformation floating around on health care.”

Yeah, it’s all coming from manufactured astroturf, corporate sponsored, tea baggers who are little more than sheep being herded along by their representatives from congress, I mean, the insurance companies. Any fool can see through the smoke screen being created. The tea baggers are the last gasp efforts of a political party in its death throes.

  4. Bob Says:

    Doc, if I may rebut?
    Mark,
Have you actually even READ any of the proposed health care “reform” or are you just repeating the party propaganda?
I’m associated with a PATRIOTS group that is NOT sponsored by corporations or Republicans (I personally feel that, with few exceptions, the R’s are nearly as dangerous to freedom as the D’s)We are simply hard-working people that are sick of having a socialist agenda shoved on us AGAINST OUR WILL.
Think, or don’t think, as you like, but I would suggest that you go troll with your own kind, most of us don’t want closed-minded buffoons with their heads buried…somewhere, around here!

    • “Doc, if I may rebut?”

Of course you may! I need all the help I can get!

      🙂

      Cheers

I have not read, nor have you, nor have any one of your representatives read the entire proposal. Even though we have socialized our police, our firemen, our schools, our retirement, our health care for the disabled and the elderly, our highways, and so much more, all of a sudden doing what every other civilized nation has done, providing health care, is evil and wrong and will only lead to the government taking away our guns and euthanizing our grandparents. We are a socialist republic and have been since 1913. Even your congressman will tell you that.
I don’t affiliate with any political party. I’m perfectly capable of doing my own thinking. The evidence of the corporate sponsorship of the so called “tea bag” movement is empirical; there is no question about Fox News financial support. And by the way, does everything in your vulgar style of patriotism have to be us against them? Liberals vs. conservatives? You’re just falling for the bullshit pal. There is no grass roots tea bagger movement, it’s a tool, it’s a fantasy, give it up. It will have disappeared in a few months like pet rocks, which by the way, were also corporate sponsored. This isn’t an issue of political party affiliation, that’s what they want you to think. Only through divisionary tactics will they win. If the people were actually united against the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical companies they wouldn’t stand a chance and we would get what we want. As it is, I have no doubt that we will get exactly the health care system that we deserve.

      • Mark,

I was at the VERY FIRST TEA PARTY in St. Louis back in February.

I personally know Bill Hennessy – the person who organized that and other Tea Parties.

Believe me, he didn’t do it because some mysterious corporation told him to do it, nor did anyone pay him to do it. He did it because he was pissed off about all the tax-payer money Congress is flushing down the toilet on all of this Socialist crap and decided to do something about it!

Socialism is a failed ideology and makes for extremely dangerous economic policies…

If anyone is falling for the bullshit, it is you!

Let’s take a look at your bullshit logic:

“I have not read, nor have you, nor have any one of your representatives read the entire proposal.”

Is that some new requirement for opposing further government control of your life?

        Certainly not!!!

We all know that this just another power grab by an increasingly totalitarian government.

It doesn’t matter one iota what is in the bill – that is only a secondary reason to oppose it. The VERY CONCEPT of the government stealing money from someone who worked for it, and giving it to someone who didn’t, is grounds enough to oppose it!

Government run health care is NOT a right! It is a crime!—They are stealing YOUR money and then deciding who they will and will not give your money to.

Do you somehow think that a government knows how to spend your money better than you? Hell, Congressmen and Senators can’t even balance their own checkbooks!

Here’s an article from 1992 in which ALL 296 members of Congress had bounced personal checks while in office!!!

        http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1282/is_n7_v44/ai_12127933/

In fact, I’m pretty damn sure that even you are a hell of a lot better at spending your money more wisely than some faceless entity that just considers you a cash cow…

Now, if you want to provide health care for the uninsured so badly, then why don’t you just donate all of your money to one of the many non-profit organizations out there that provide help for those without health care?

The Red Cross is a perfect example!

We don’t need no stinkin’ government to tell us how to spend our own damn money!

“[…] all of a sudden doing what every other civilized nation has done, providing health care, is evil and wrong and will only lead to the government taking away our guns and euthanizing [sic] our grandparents [?] “

Short answer, YES!!! I guess you would consider NAZI Germany, Communist China, North Korea, the now defunct USSR, and Cuba “civilized nations…”

Their governments all use “socialized” medicine to “euthanize” the elderly…

And, oh yeah, England—the model of health care—took away everyone’s self-loading guns; In case you are daft, that is almost all guns!

Well, I would love to continue this, but I have very little time and need to use it wisely. I’ll continue this conversation later.

        Cheers

        • Mark Says:

I’m a little confused by your bullshit answer. I stated that neither I nor you or any of the members of congress have completely read the health care bill. That statement was made by several members of congress from both sides of the aisle. The fact of the matter is that it would take months. Not bullshit. It does matter what is in the bill. It’s going to affect every one of us for generations. Government run health care works for our soldiers and our members of congress. All we want is the same option that they have. We have the highest infant mortality rate than all other developed countries combined, the worst obesity, one of the highest rates of heart, and pulmonary disease in the world, the most inefficient and expensive health care systems in the industrialized world accounting for more than 16% of our GDP. Compare that to Canada’s 10%. Health care services are much higher in the U.S. than anywhere else, with 5% of the population accounted for more than half of all costs. You’re paying for it whether you acknowledge it or not bucky. Every time you make a premium payment to your insurance company you are paying for other people’s health care, particularly for the uninsured. What you don’t get is that the more uninsured citizens we have, the more expensive your insurance is going to be. But you don’t care, you’re so insulated in your little flag wrapped world that you think that if you just don’t think about those less fortunate that everything is going to be just okydokey.

You probably don’t like facts very much but just the same here are some facts for you. In 2006, 70% of health care spending in Canada was financed by government, versus 46% in the United States. Total government spending per capita in the U.S. on health care was 23% higher than Canadian government spending, and U.S. government expenditure on health care was just under 83% of total Canadian spending (public and private).
Until you’ve been on the receiving end of the medical establishment you really don’t know what you are talking about. Health care in a civilized society is a right. The World Health Organization in 2000, ranked the U.S. health care system as the highest in cost, 37th in overall performance, and 72nd by overall level of health, among 191 member nations.
Medical debt is the principal cause of bankruptcy in the United States. I’ve been through a catastrophic illness that required highly invasive treatments for almost three years. Chemo three times a week for months, surgery after surgery, infusion therapy for 7 months. And you want to know the funny part of it all? The fact of the matter is that since I was unable to work and had no insurance, you wound up paying for those chemo treatments at $1600 a pop. You paid for those $30,000 surgeries. You paid for me to have a liter of antibiotics dripped into my heart four times a day from April till September, plus the nurse who had to come by every day and dress an open wound, plus the hospital bill and all of the other affiliated costs. That’s the kind of health care you want in this country? Fine, you’re paying for it. The government isn’t stealing your money, pal. You’re giving it away of your own accord every time someone like me shows up at a hospital with a life threatening illness and refuse to acknowledge that universal health care is the answer so that society isn’t burdened with unfortunates who mostly through no fault of their own wind up in a situation like mine. It just makes your statement “…if you want to provide health care for the uninsured so badly, then why don’t you just donate all of your money to one of the many non-profit organizations out there…” just that much more ludicrous. You are already donating your money to the uninsured asshole. It comes right out of your paycheck.

          • See, that’s your problem right there; you are framing this as an health care issue, when that is just secondary to the real agenda of more government control of your life an money.

Using the argument that we should continue shooting ourselves in the head because others have done it and we’ve done it time and time again in the past to ourselves is not a cogent argument; it’s just stupidity and sophistry.

Your mom probably told/asked you something like, “if all the other kids are jumping off a cliff, does that mean you should too?”

But, if you, yourself, are willing to entrust your money to the government, there’s nothing stopping YOU from signing over all your paychecks to them.

I’m sure they will appreciate it.

As for me, I’ll keep my money and decide who, what, where, and when I want to spend it.

Like I said, I’ll get back to you later and expand upon my thoughts when I have more time.

            Cheers

Ya know, I’ve been hearing the libs spouting off about “astroturf, corporate sponsored, tea baggers” pretty regularly. I think it interesting that they deny that a grassroots movement can genuinely sprout up around a set of conservative viewpoints. This movement can’t possibly be because real people really dislike what the current administration is doing. No, no, no, it must be those evil healthcare corporations, or other unnamed corrupt corporate interests.

Hmmmm, well, how’s about we take a look at another EVIL corporate interest, namely GE. GE holds a significantly large part of the market for wind generation equipment. They also hold some significant share in Greenhouse Gas Services, a carbon-offset trading company (protection racket). Add to that the fact that GE owns control of NBC, and MSNBC, and has been strongarming what has been reported on and how it is reported. Heck, even the ultra-lib HuffPo is bitching about it:

    http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mitchell-blatt/2009/08/04/huffpo-decries-general-electrics-control-nbc-msnbc-only-some-topics

All that to say, libs quit whining. Just because you are being strongly disagreed with doesn’t discount the validity of that disagreement. Along with that, discounting your detractors is juvenile and not conducive to a stable society. Of course, that’s not what you’re after, control is what you guys want. Too bad you won’t get it. Ultimately ‘We the people’ have the control of this great nation.

    • “Ya know, I’ve been hearing the libs spouting off about “astroturf, corporate sponsored, tea baggers” pretty regularly. I think it interesting that they deny that a grassroots movement can genuinely sprout up around a set of conservative viewpoints.”

Yup, that’s what happens when you are a Lefturd and constantly have to astroturf in order to push your commie agenda on an unsuspecting public; you begin to think that all movements are astroturfed.

In fact, David Axelrod (Obama’s puppet master) is considered the “King of Astroturfing” because his company, “ASK Public Strategies,” made a living off of using astroturfing techniques to move commie agendas.

But, you can always tell when a movement is astroturfed: Their numbers are small and the Lame Stream Media portrays them as being much larger than they really are.

On the other hand, you can tell a real grassroots movement by the way the media attempts to downplay the massive numbers!

On April 15th, we had over 1 million Tea Party protesters show up. You didn’t hear that on the Commie News Network, now did you?

When confronted with an actual movement, Lefturds are clueless and caught completely off guard. That will be the death of them, yet; because hell hath no fury like an American revolution!

Now that We the People are finally waking up to the nightmare created by the Libtards and Lefturds, We the People MUST NEVER STOP attacking until there isn’t a single “progressive” left in a position of power – that includes your local school district, colleges, community homeowner associations, etc!

If we achieve a victory with blocking Health Care Deform, we MUST NOT THINK WE HAVE WON THE WAR!!!

This is but one battle in many more to come during the long war.

It will be a long fight, after all, the “progressive humanists” have been waging war on us for about a hundred years—winning more battles than losing. What makes any sane person believe that the war will be over any time soon?

Don’t fall for any “retreats” or “compromises” offered by these Lefturds! That is a ruse to buy some time and gain a foothold.

The key is: ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!

NEVER STOP, EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE WON THE WAR,

ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!

Forgive me in advance as this is long, but I want to share it with you:

This list was originally written by a Peter Fleckstein and published on his blog http://blog.flecksoflife.com/2009/07/19/the-hc-monstrosity/. Apparently this man’s criticism of the bill came to the attention of Polifact who disputed what he says. So, Mr. Fleckstein did a point by point rebuttal on his blog and it shows his reasoning for his comments! Very interesting reading. Here’s the link http://blog.flecksoflife.com/

The actual draft version of this horrendous bill is online at http://waysandmeans.house.gov/media/pdf/111/hrdraft.pdf

Mr. Fleckstein only references the page (found at the top of each page) and it would have been more useful if he had referenced the line number.

It is vitally important for all of us to read and read and read and contact our Congressmen and Senators.

When I checked the original on his blog, I found that he had commented on all 1,000 pages and the comments are in reverse order so p. 22 is at the bottom!

Subject: A few highlights from the first 500 pages of the Healthcare bill in congress

Contact your Representatives and let them know how you feel about this. We, as a country, cannot afford another 1000 page bill to go through congress
without being read. Another 500 pages to go. I have highlighted a few of the items that are down right unconstitutional.
