Power Paragraph of the Week!
Peter Wehner, over at Commentary Magazine, hits the nail on the head with this one!:
“[…] No president in human history has quite equaled Obama when it comes to blaming others for his problems. And during the 2008 campaign, everything wrong with America could be laid squarely at the feet of President Bush. But now Obama, having presided over what at this stage must qualify as among the most inept presidencies in American history, is complaining because he’s being held accountable.”

Obama is a narcissist plain and simple so he can’t be blamed or held accountable for anything, it’s not part of his personality disorder:)))

What did we expect? They voted for Obama because of the color of his skin not the content of his character nor his qualifications as a leader. 2008 will go down in history as the first racist election of the 21st century. But of course, everyone else is a racist!
Barry is only a symptom of the larger problem, the people who voted for him because of the color of his skin.

They wanted to go down in history as voting for the first black president, they have told us this time and again. They tell us that not supporting the policies of the first black president is racism. If we don’t vote for the first black president this time around it’s because we are a nation of racists. Of course we are, the voters just elected the first black president because he would be the first black president.
Funny thing is, now-a-days, you cannot find anyone who voted for Carter.

Yeah. I hear ya’. I attend a predominately black church. Back when Obama was first running for President, Memaw (my mom) and I tried to warn other members of our church about Obama. The response was fairly unanimous: “We don’t care about his pro-abortion, communist, anti-American, anti-Christian history; we are going to vote for him no matter what.”
While many in our church wouldn’t come right out and say it, it was understood by all that they were voting for Obama just because of the color of his skin. Racism at its finest!
Apparently, in their haste to make history, they forgot a portion of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech:
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character!”
Today, those same church members are kicking themselves for being so foolish as to allow the color of One’s skin to trump the content of One’s character.

How do the people at your Church feel about what appears to be the most important issue in the black community, the plight of the homosexual?

While our church loves the sinner and hates the sin, marriage is sacrosanct. You don’t mess with it! Needless to say, they are absolutely livid with Obama’s support of queer marriages.

Obama is in fact the first African-American president. His father was an African, his mother an American. There is a difference between American blacks and African-Americans. Perhaps someday we will have an American who’s skin color is black as president. The first American (black) president. Sadly many future candidates will have the African-American Obama albatross hung around their necks and that will make it harder. Through a strange and twisting journey and by no intention of his own Obama may very well usher in an age where The Dream becomes reality. The Lord works in mysterious ways. 🙂
