Tea Party by the St. Louis Arch
Well, it was cold. Damn cold; And yet, we had about 1500+ show up! Pretty darn good on a workday for Conservatives and Republicans who hardly ever get involved with protests. In fact, most of the folks I talked with in the crowd were saying that this was the first time they had ever protested anything in their lives!
It seems that America is really pissed off!!!
Anyway, here are some photos that I took. In case you couldn’t tell, the location is on the steps of the Arch right next to the Mississippi River—which is the river we dumped the tea into, of course:
Power to the People!!!
Even Mothers and their little children were doing their part! – Ain’t homeschooling wonderful?!!
Loads of fun
Rear view of St. Louis Blogger Dana Loesch on the megaphone (she’s located right under the white “don’t tread on me” flag).
In the background is the bridge from St. Louis to Obama-Land, Illinois.
Talking on the Capitalist Cellphone was a nice touch!
Ed Martin in the foreground with former GOP Senate staffer and blogger Shamed Dogan on the bullhorn letting Missouri voters know that they need to hold Sen. Claire McCaskill accountable for voting in the $1 trillion Stinkulus Package and vote her out of the Senate. Fat chance of that, however, because she isn’t up for re-election until 2012 – by then, the Sheeple will have forgotten…
Local Channel 5 news chick trying to downplay the number of protesters – they lied their little Libtard butts off and claimed that only about 400 showed up. (PS – No, I don’t care to find out what her name is).
Ed Martin on the bullhorn. He’s a St. Louis lawyer and board member of the American Issues Project.
He has appeared on the Fox News Channel’s O’Reilly Factor (here’s the YouTube video)
St. Louis schoolkids showed up to observe the proceedings.
I don’t know their names, but they reminded me of the professional protesters I use to run into around “Berzerkley,” CA.
Bill Hennessy on the bullhorn—he was the event organizer for the Tea Party.
One of Megan Dunhams‘ daughters, “E5,” rippin’ that tea bag open with frozen little fingers just to sprinkle it in the mighty Mississippi.

Keep up the good work all of you, goodtimepolitics will keep the news of the tea parties going out to the people that read my blog and hope that we will have more join in as time goes by, maybe we can have a march on Washington in the months ahead. There are many people that do not like what is happening to our great Nation but they sit back and say nothing until its to late. I’m not able to be there in person but I will do whatever I can for the cause on my blog. Lets keep up the pressure. Thanks again for all that is standing up for our country and our rights!

April 15 at 6:30 p.m. in Kiener Plaza (it’s that mini-amphitheater area with the fountain right behind the capitol building).
Cheers
