Lying Afghan warlord shredded.

16 February, 2009

Ain’t no sound but the sound of his feet,
machine guns ready to go
Are you ready, Are you ready for this
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust

My apologies to Queen

By HEIDI VOGT and AMIR SHAH 16 February 2009 (AP) A coalition airstrike has killed a powerful Taliban commander who broke a promise to renounce violence after village elders persuaded President Hamid Karzai to free him from prison, officials said Monday.
-Lying is a sin.

The Sunday night attack destroyed a building housing Ghulam Dastagir and eight other militants in the village of Darya-ye-Morghab, near the Turkmenistan border, the U.S. military said in a statement.

Dastagir was responsible for a surge in violence in the province in recent months, including a November attack on an Afghan army convoy that killed 13 soldiers, the statement said.
-For those of you that do not already know the surge is on, the Tenth Mountain Division is also kicking some serious Taliban ass. (more…)

Fox News Finally Picks Up Story About “Moderate” Television Muzzie Beheading His Wife

16 February, 2009

Gee, that only took about three days…

Well, at least they are finally covering it.  I haven’t seen anything concerning it on ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN.  Odd, considering all the accolades they lavished on Mr. Hassan when he first started his little television station

Since our local Democrat-owned and operated cable company doesn’t carry Fox News, I was wondering if anyone who watches Fox News had seen this covered on the air.  Let us know.  THX.

This updates our previous post HERE.

Muslim Television Channel Founder Charged With Beheading His Wife
Monday, February 16, 2009 – Fox News
By Joshua Rhett Miller

The estranged wife of a Muslim television executive feared for her life after filing for divorce last month from her abusive husband, her attorney said — and was found beheaded Thursday in his upstate New York television studio.

Aasiya Z. Hassan, 37, was found dead on Thursday at the offices of Bridges TV in Orchard Park, N.Y., near Buffalo. Her husband, Muzzammil Hassan, 44, has reportedly been charged with second-degree murder.

“She was very much aware of the potential ramification of her filing for divorce might have,” said attorney Elizabeth DiPirro, whose law firm, Hogan Willig, represented Aasiya Hassan in the divorce proceeding. “But she wanted to proceed despite the potential for it to erupt.”

DiPirro said the couple had “physical confrontations off and on” for their entire eight-year marriage that had recently escalated to death threats. The grounds for divorce were “cruel and inhuman treatment,” DiPirro said, referring to mulitple prior incidents of abuse. She declined to elaborate.

“We were worried about the situation becoming volatile,” DiPirro said.

The couple had two children, ages 4 and 6, DiPirro said. Muzzammil Hassan also has two children, ages 17 and 18, from a previous marriage.
