A satellite system linking two continents became the latest weapon in Europe’s armoury against illegal immigration yesterday, as police forces in countries as far apart as Spain, Senegal and Mauritania were hooked up to a single high-speed communications and data network.
The EU-funded Sea Horse system helps relocate the effort to prevent illegal immigration from the coast of Africa, with stations opened in port cities such as Dakar in Senegal, Praia in Cape Verde and Nouadhibou in Mauritania. -The European Union has not impressed me, it amounts to a shell game – resources moved around to fool residents into temporarily thinking all is good. Uhm, this is huge and it’s slipping in under the radar! THE Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts, has decided to hear the Lightfoot v. Bowen case concerning Obama’s Natural-Born Citizenship status.
The significance of this is that we now have at least four Supreme Court Justices who have agreed to hear petitions for writs of certiorari regarding Obama’s citizenship status (it takes four Justices to move a petition on to the next stage of oral arguments – the briefing stage). Not only that, but THE Chief Justice is now on board! Obviously, he carries a LOT of weight with the other Supreme Court Justices, and he is also the person who must certify the validity of the Electoral College. So, it behooves him to insure that Obama is qualified. This ain’t over yet, folks!
Chief Justice John Roberts agreed to hear my case Lightfoot v Bowen, challenging eligibility for presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. He distributed the case to the full conference of the Supreme Court. The timing of this decision by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Roberts, is absolutely remarkable. On January 7, one day before the January 8 vote by Congress and Senate, whether to approve or object to the electoral vote of Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro, as president of the United States, Chief Justice Roberts is sending a message to them: “Hold on, not so fast, there is value in this case, read it. Hawaiian statue 338 allows Foreign Born children of Hawaiian Residents to obtain Hawaiian Birth Certificates, it allows one to get Hawaiian Certification of Life birth based on a statement of one relative only, without any corroborating evidence. You need to investigate, you need corroborating evidence. If only one Congressman or one Senator presents a written objection, then there has to be a formal investigation by the joint session of Congress and Senate. During this investigation original birth certificate from Hawaii will be subpoenaed. All other pertinent documents will be subpoenaed: Obama’s immigration records, any and all passports from Indonesia, Kenya and Great Britain; University enrollment records, showing if he was enrolled in US schools and universities and received financial aid as a foreign exchange student from Indonesia or Kenya. All of it can be subpoenaed and obtained within a day or two. Each and every member of US Congress and Senate owes it to 320 million American citizens to do his due diligence and demand all necessary records. When American servicemen are told to risk their lives defending Constitution of this country against all enemies, foreign and domestic, each and every Congressman and each and every Senator can spend a day or two of their time defending this Constitution, reviewing necessary documents, in order to see if Barack Hussein Obama is a Natural Born Citizen, if he is a citizen at all.” This is the message that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is sending to them, and if they are not listening, there has to be a massive petition drive to recall them. Truth will come out, no matter how many millions Obama is spending to hide it.

Police say two men attempted to break into a home on the 4100 block of South Hughes in Amarillo this morning.
The homeowner, police say, used a long gun to shoot one of the suspects. The other alleged robber managed to run away.
When police arrived at the home, 4117 S. Hughes, they found one of the suspected robbers lying on the ground with several gun shot wounds. They attempted to resuscitate him, but were unsuccessful.
Police are now searching for the second man involved in the invasion. Police have a vague description of him. He is a black male and was last seen wearing black clothing.
Witnesses say both suspected robbers have broken into the home up to four times in the past.
Police call this the first homicide of 2009.
The owner of the home went to the police station, as part of the investigation. But police have not made any arrests.
Police have tentatively identified the dead man, 22 years of age, but are waiting to notify the next of kin before releasing his name.
The Amarillo Special Crimes Unit is still investigating the block of South Hughes where the shooting occurred. They also closed off a section of Southwest 42nd Avenue.

They recognize that the Gaza conflict is a single front in a broader war.
Many Arabs are rooting for Israel to rout Hamas.
You read that right. As the international community, with predictable unanimity, demands that Israel immediately stop defending itself against the rain of rockets on its people, some Muslims, deep down, want to see the Jews give the terrorists in Gaza a good sound thumping.
Who are they? The Egyptian government. Other “moderate” Arab states. Even Iranians (Persians, not Arabs) who yearn for change.
They all want this for the same simple reason: because Hamas’s survival would be a victory for Iran—and Iran needs to be put down.
These Arabs have watched with concern as the Hamas-Iran relationship has blossomed over a period of years. In 1991, the Gulf War against Iraq strengthened Iran’s resolve to dominate the Middle East, and Iran looked for Islamist groups to co-opt in order to extend its reach. Within Israel, it chose Hamas—and began giving the organization millions of dollars, loads of weapons, and training. This tie grew far stronger after a series of more recent events—the second intifada in 2000, Saddam Hussein’s removal in 2003, Yasser Arafat’s death in 2004—swelled Iran’s appreciation for Hamas’s potential value. When the group won Palestinian elections in 2006 and was slapped with an international embargo, Tehran stepped in to provide hundreds of millions in aid. Today, Iran is Hamas’s biggest sponsor. It has come to use the organization the same way it uses Hezbollah in Lebanon: as a weapon to advance its own ambitions.
The Iranian-funded makeover of Hamas from being merely one of several competing jihadist groups to becoming the most popular force among Palestinians has instilled fear in Arab states throughout the region. They view Hamas’s transformation of the Gaza Strip into a heavily armed Iranian-sponsored terrorist enclave as being of a piece with Iran’s deep infiltration into Iraq since 2003. And with the tremendous influence Iran has gained over Syria. And Iran’s sway over several Sunni nations in the Persian Gulf. And Iran’s authority over Hezbollah, which now has a veto in the Lebanese government. And the sympathy Iran enjoys within Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas’s parent organization. And, most of all, Iran’s nuclear program that progresses in spite of all international efforts to stop it. These neighboring Arab governments, already considering the Islamic Republic too powerful, deeply fear a nuclear-armed Iran. They know the Iranian mullahs want not only to defeat Israel, but also to foment radicalism among Muslims throughout the region in pursuit of their broader revolutionary goals.
That is why they are so anxious about the outcome of the Israel-Hamas war.

THE Gaza Strip has been turned into a “concentration camp” by two weeks of Israeli bombardments, said a senior Vatican official.
Cardinal Renato Martino, the Vatican’s justice and peace minister, was quoted by the online Italian daily Il Sussidiario.
“Let’s look at the conditions in Gaza: these increasingly resemble a big concentration camp,” said Cardinal Martino.
[Gee, I don’t recall the Jews launching rockets and sending suicide bombers into the neighboring communities…]
Cardinal Martino said it was in neither parties interest to carry on fighting and urged both to show more willingness to hold peace talks.
“If they can’t come to an agreement, then someone else should do it (for them). The world cannot sit back and watch without doing anything.
“We Christians are not the only ones to call this land ‘holy’, Jews and Muslims do so too. The fact that this land is the scene of bloodshed seems a great tragedy,” he added.
Israel’s offensive on Gaza has killed almost 700 Palestinians, including 220 children, and injured 3000 since December 27, according to Gaza medics.
Aid agencies have declared a total humanitarian crisis in Gaza, owing to the ailing stocks of basic food, water and medical supplies.
In response Israel said the comments were “based on Hamas propaganda”.
“Making remarks that seem to be based on Hamas propaganda while ignoring its numerous crimes … does not bring the people closer to truth and peace,” foreign ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor told AFP.

Man charged over bestiality images January 07, 2009

A PAKISTANI national who flew into Sydney on the weekend has been charged with importing child pornography and bestiality materials into Australia.
The 36-year-old man was stopped for questioning by Customs officers when he arrived at Sydney International Airport on Saturday on a flight from Hong Kong.
They allegedly located child pornography and bestiality videos on the man’s laptop and on a CD.
The man was arrested and appeared in Sydney Central Local court.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in the Downing Centre Local Court on January 13.
It is the second arrest of its kind in two weeks.

A 51-year-old man was arrested and charged by Customs officers in Perth last week for similar offences.
“These arrests should send a strong message to anyone seeking to bring child or abhorrent pornography across the Australian border that Customs has the capability and resolve to detect, investigate and prosecute such attempts,” Customs investigations manager Richard Janeczko said.
The maximum penalty for importing child pornography is $275,000 and/or 10 years’ imprisonment.
And, he is currently pursuing U.S. Citizenship… Maybe we should all contact the Department of Homeland Security (since they are in charge of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) ) and forward the following information:
Top American Islamic Cleric Threatens U.S. on Egyptian TV
Islamic cleric Salah Sultan appeared on Egypt’s Al-Nas TV last week and delivered a warning of death and destruction for America. Not only did he attack the U.S. for its military support of Israel in its fight against the Hamas terrorist organization, but he vowed retaliation such that more Americans would be killed than those Palestinians (and, presumably, Hamas terrorists) killed in the present conflict in Gaza, emphasizing that this would take place “soon”:
America, which gave [Israel] everything it needed in these battles, will suffer economic stagnation, ruin, destruction, and crime, which will surpass what is happening in Gaza. One of these days, the U.S. will suffer more deaths than all those killed in this third Gaza holocaust. This will happen soon.
He also invoked a notorious Islamic hadith on the inevitable annihilation of the Jews by Muslims:
The stone, which is thrown at the Jews, hates these Jews, these Zionists, because Allah foretold, via His Prophet Muhammad, that Judgment Day will not come before the Jew and the Muslim fight. The Jew will hide behind stones and trees, and the stone and the tree will speak, saying: “Oh Muslim, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.” The only exception will be the Gharqad tree.
This harangue would be nothing new on television in the Islamic world; in fact, it is commonplace. What is unique about Sultan’s threats against America is that he holds U.S. permanent residency status and, according to one federal law enforcement official, travels regularly on a U.S. passport. And as I have reported elsewhere, Sultan is pursuing U.S. citizenship (the status of his application is unknown due to federal privacy laws). Thus, Salah Sultan has lived quite comfortably for more than a decade under the protections of the very country he now threatens with death and destruction.
It should be noted that Salah Sultan is not some obscure figure in the American Islamic world. He serves as a member of the Fiqh Council of North America. Touted as the top Islamic governing body in the U.S., the Fiqh Council is an arm of the Islamic Society of North America. Sultan founded and served as president of the Islamic American University in Southfield, Michigan; he was the national director of tarbiyah (Islamic instruction) for the Muslim American Society; and he continues to operate the American Council for Islamic Research, based in my hometown of Hilliard, Ohio.
Sultan’s Al-Nas TV appearance last week was recorded and translated by the indispensable Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). Curiously, as soon as MEMRI published the video clips of Sultan’s harangue, references to Sultan’s membership with the Fiqh Council were scrubbed from its website. His name has been removed from its list of council members, even though he appeared there as recently as early last week. However, Sultan is still listed as a member on the Fiqh Council’s brochure posted online (no doubt that will be remedied as soon as they are informed of this report).
