Michiganistan: Gun Shop Stops Selling Turban Headed Skeleton Target After CAIR Complains

You will bow to Islam, infidel!  Else, I keeeeel you!!!

Skeleton target

Islamic group praises Royal Oak gun shop for ending sale of targets in Muslim attire
Detroit Free Press

A local chapter of a national Islamic civil liberties group is praising the decision of a Royal Oak gun shop to discontinue selling targets of a skeleton wearing traditional Muslim attire.

The Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI) welcomed the decision by Target Sports.

CAIR-MI Executive Director Dawud Walid met Wednesday with the owner of Target Sports to voice concern that a gun range target that depicts a skeleton with a long beard dressed in a turban and robe may provoke gun owners to view local Muslims who wear such garb as enemies.

Uh, yeah.  Just the other day, I saw a skeleton walking down the street in a turban and carrying an AK-47; acting all suspicious, and stuff.  Happens all the time around here. /sarcasm

The owner agreed.

Walid said he had received a complaint about the targets Wednesday morning, and walked into the gun store and bought two of the targets before introducing himself and expressing his concerns.

“He gave us a verbal promise to stop selling the targets,” Walid said. “It was an extremely non-hostile meeting.”

The targets, manufactured by Thompson Targets in Canton, Ohio, are shipped throughout the country, and Walid was checking with other gun shops in metro Detroit to see whether they are carrying them.

“Our concern isn’t primarily being offended,” he said. “It’s a safety issue. In metro Detroit, there are law-abiding, peaceful Muslims walking the streets of Hamtramck and Detroit who are dressed like this in the target. It is problematic. There seems to be a dehumanization of Muslims.”

[…]

Yeah, it’s a “safety” issue.  R-i-i-i-g-h-t.

You know, there seems to be a dehumanization of redneck farmer zombies, too!

Better get those pulled off the market, also.  Don’t want any law-abiding, peaceful farmers getting shot at!:

Redneck farmer zombie

Of course, CAIR didn’t see fit to mention that they, themselves support terrorists…

CAIR Wants Media To Do Away With Use Of The Word “Islamist”

3 January, 2013

Sure, I’ll do away with using the word “Islamist.”—Just as soon as Ibrahim Hooper does away with the word “Islamophobe.”

(Fat chance of that, buddy):

PRESS RELEASE

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 1/3/13) — The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today distributed a commentary urging media outlets to drop the term “Islamist” because it is “currently used in an almost exclusively pejorative context.”

By Ibrahim Hooper

As many people make promises to themselves to improve their lives or their societies in the coming year, here is a suggested New Year’s resolution for media outlets in America and worldwide: Drop the term “Islamist.”

[…]

Unfortunately, the term “Islamist” has become shorthand for “Muslims we don’t like.” It is currently used in an almost exclusively pejorative context and is often coupled with the term “extremist,” giving it an even more negative slant.

There are few, if any, positive references to “Islamist” in news articles. There are also no — nor should there be — references to “Christianists,” “Judaists” or “Hinduists” for those who would similarly seek governments “in accord with the laws” of their respective faiths.

No journalist would think of referring to the “Judaist government of Israel,” the “Christianist leader Rick Santorum” or “Hinduist Indian politician Narendra Modi,” while use of “Islamist” has become ubiquitous. It might be an interesting exercise to hold a contest, the winner of which would be the first to find a positive mainstream media reference to “Islamist.”

False argument, Ibrahim.

Besides, even the New York Times has called Israel’s government, “Jewish.”   (CLICK HERE for the link to the NYT’s corrections page and note the usage of the phrase, “the Jewish government,” in its first correction item).

I’d say that fits quite neatly into your “Judaist government” criteria, Ibrahim.    What are you?  A Jewophobe?

Quite likely, such a contest would end up being similar to a unicorn hunt.

The frequent linkage of the term “Islamist” to violence and denial of religious and human rights is also strongly promoted by Islamophobic groups and individuals who seek to launch rhetorical attacks on Islam and Muslims, without the public censure that would normally accompany such bigoted attacks on any other faith.

Aha!  There it is!  Still using the term Islamophobe, are we, Ibrahim?  Why is it that you want to control our language, but we can’t touch yours?

What are you?  A hypocrite?  Or, should I say, “Islamocrite?!”

[…]

By not dropping or modifying use of the term, the media are making a political and religious value judgment each time it is used.

As are you, Ibrahim,  every time you use that ridiculous word Islamophobe!  See the hypocrisy here, Ibrahim?

That is hardly fair or balanced.

Hey, like I said, if all you Muzzy-headed types would just stop using the word Islamophobe, I’d be more than happy to stop using the word Islamist.

Now, THAT is truly “fair and balanced!”—Unlike Ibrahim Hooper’s one-sided request for the media to stop using the term Islamist.

Stupid muzzy.

CAIR Throws Its Support Behind Rapists And Tyrants

6 December, 2012

No surprise, there.  Just thought I’d point it out:

CAIR Targets Morsi/Brotherhood Critics
via Right Side News

[…]

While Egyptians take to the streets to oppose what they claim is a nascent tyranny, Morsi and his Islamist government can count on support from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). For example, CAIR-Los Angeles boss Hussam Ayloush praised Morsi for assuming more power in order to prevent “corrupt judges” from the “undermining and undoing of every democratic step.”

In a Facebook post, Ayloush blamed Egypt’s internal strife on the secular opposition: “Much of the Egyptian opposition seem to be more interested in opposing Morsi and the MB than actually helping Egypt become a stable and institutional democracy,”

CAIR-New York’s Cyrus McGoldrick disparaged criticism of Morsi as “a last stand by old pro-West/Mubarak/Israel crowd to keep power in judiciary.”

CAIR-San Francisco chief Zahra Billoo dismissed American concerns that the Islamist-backed draft constitution wouldn’t protect human rights. “Why do we care about what the Egyptian Constitution says about indefinite detention, when it is being practiced by the U.S. government?” she wrote in a Twitter post Monday.

Several oceans away in Tahrir Square, Egyptian women see things very differently. They charge that the Brotherhood is “paying gangs to go out and rape women and beat men” protesting Morsi’s policies.

Female protesters in Tahrir Square provided harrowing accounts of sexual assaults they say were carried out by thugs on the Islamist group’s payroll.

A protester identified as Yasmine said she had been at Tahrir Square for several hours filming a recent demonstration when she was suddenly surrounded by 50 men who grabbed her breasts, ripped off her clothes and assaulted her. Men who tried to come to her rescue were beaten away by the mob, but she eventually managed to escape. Yasmine suffered internal injuries and was unable to walk for a week.

A journalist named Afaf el-Sayed said that while protesting at the square just over a month ago, she was attacked by a group of men she claims were “thugs from the Muslim Brotherhood.”

While the frequency of these assaults is unclear, “activists have reported nearly 20 attacks in the last ten days and say there has been a dramatic increase in mob sex attacks in the past year,” the British Daily Mail reported Saturday.

Oops! Obama Accidentally Signs Bill Which Prohibits FBI from Cooperating with CAIR and ISNA!

23 November, 2011

LOL!  Too funny to pass up!  And, one of the few things Obama has ever done that I support.

Of course, this is what happens when you sign “the bill so that you can find out what’s in it.”

PJM Exclusive: New Law Cuts Ties Between FBI and Terror-Tied Groups
Obama signs bill codifying and expanding existing, but frequently ignored, ban on engaging groups like CAIR.

by Patrick Poole – November 22, 2011- PJM

When Barack Obama signed the continuing resolution this past weekend averting another potential government shutdown, it’s doubtful that he was aware that tucked into the bill, which funds several federal agencies through the fiscal year and extends the continuing resolution for the rest of the government until December 16, is a provision that may dramatically impact what Islamic groups and leaders the FBI and other law enforcement agencies can continue to work with.

Under Division B, Title II of the bill, under the Federal Bureau of Investigation-Salaries and Expenses section, is the following provision:

Liaison partnerships– The conferees support the FBI’s policy prohibiting any formal non-investigative cooperation with unindicted co-conspirators in terrorism cases. The conferees expect the FBI to insist on full compliance with this policy by FBI field offices and to report to the Committees on Appropriations regarding any violation of the policy.

In other words; no more of those stupid,  mandatory, CAIR sponsored “Islamic sensitivity” training classes for FBI agents every few months.

The most obvious group that this will impact is the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which was named unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case — the largest terrorism-finance trial in American history. During the trial, FBI Dallas Agent Lara Burns testified that CAIR was a front for the terrorist group Hamas.

Following the trial, which resulted in guilty verdicts on all counts and lengthy prison terms for all five Holy Land executives, the FBI was forced to cut ties with CAIR – a decision that CAIR claimed would hurt local communities and that prompted other Muslim groups, like the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), to threaten to stop cooperation with the FBI unless CAIR was reinstated. In a February 2010 letter to members of Congress, Assistant Attorney General Robert Weich forwarded evidence submitted by federal prosecutors in the trial and court testimony concerning CAIR’s ties to the Hamas-controlled Palestine Committee and that committee’s role in supporting Hamas.

CAIR Blasts Somali Muslim Leaders for NOT Promoting Islamic Terrorism

9 November, 2011

Careful, CAIR, your slip is showing:

CAIR Claims 2 Metro Somali Leaders are Anti-Muslim
Letter blasts Abdi Bihi, Omar Jamal before forum
MyFOXTwinCities

MINNEAPOLIS – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is blasting two high-profile leaders in the metro Somali community as anti-Muslim ahead of a conference with police departments to discuss Somali culture — and the public spat is testing the limits of tolerance.

The controversial claim comes from a group that is no stranger to controversy itself, and the conflict centers over who speaks for the local Somali community, which is a complicated mesh of 15 separate groups with deep cultural and religious divides.

“I’m not anti-Muslim,” said Omar Jamal. “I’m anti-Islamic terrorism.”

Omar Jamal and Abdi Bihi were the first to blow the whistle on the effort to recruit Minnesotan Somalis for terrorism in Somalia. Three of the young men who disappeared from Minneapolis would later become suicide bombers in Kenya and Somalia for the terror group al-Shabaab.

That stance earned them a seat on CAIR’s bad side, and the group recently sent a letter attacking both men’s education and experience while asking local police departments to boycott a Thursday conference where the two will be keynote speakers.

“These individuals, who have no credibility in the Somali community, are going to be educating law enforcement,” the letter read in part.

Yet, both men have been consulted by government leaders in the past. Jamal is now a United Nations representative of the Somali government. Jamal has also spoken before the National Press Club and has been sought after as a spokesman for the Somali community.

GOP Hillsborough court clerk candidate – Islam is not a religion

2 November, 2011

It is not everyday that I wake up and see an article that makes me smile. I congratulate Mr. Barrish on his honesty and the reporter for reporting and not interjecting. Nothing much will surprise regular readers, the man told the truth and will be condemned for it by people that are scared to consider his point of view. The evidence against islam being a religion is as obvious as the blood spilled in its name.

By Jodie Tillman, 1 Nov, 2011, Times Staff Writer
TAMPA — A Republican candidate for Hillsborough Clerk of Circuit Court on Monday fired off a letter saying Islam is “not a religion” but a theocracy that is “totalitarian and littered with human rights violations.”
-Islam is a cult, religions do not worship the opinion of a single individual (the pedophile mohammed) and they do not have extreme physical punishments to people that want to leave the cult, in islams case the penalty is death.

Scott D. Barrish, a 35-year-old private security officer who previously ran unsuccessfully for the Hillsborough School Board, sent the letter to the Council of American-Islamic Relations. He signed it as a member of the Hillsborough County Republican Party’s executive committee.

“Your efforts in espousing Islam in America and Florida will not succeed,” Barrish wrote. “This is us vs. you. In the great words of the late President Ronald Reagan, ‘I win, you lose!’ ”
-Like Mr.Barrish, we have found the in your face approach to members of the islamic cult to work well. Granted we usually start with a welcome to our site, a few discussions and only respond aggressively after they insult us and threaten to kill us.

Barrish said in an interview that he sent the e-mail letter because the group had engaged in what he called publicity stunts. CAIR, for instance, thanked Gov. Rick Scott and Sen. Marco Rubio for declining to speak at the upcoming Florida tea party convention because it featured a presentation by an “anti-Islam extremist.”
-Code for someone who understands islam and can explain it to others.

“I don’t sugarcoat things and I don’t use (political correctness),” Barrish said. “I’m like a (New Jersey Gov.) Chris Christie. I say it like it is.”

Barrish, who said he had spent the past two years studying Islam, said he signed the letter as a member of the Hillsborough GOP to show his credentials, not to speak for the party. But the Florida chapter of CAIR used Barrish’s letter in a press statement Monday.

“It is imperative that Republican Party leaders at the state and national levels repudiate these bigoted comments and take concrete steps to challenge the growing perception that the GOP is not a big tent party that welcomes Muslims,” said Tampa executive director Hassan Shibly.
-Yeah, see here is the problem, Scott told the truth and no matter who caves in for the Republican Party, they do not speak for him or even have a right to decide to apologize for what someone else said. I have said much worse things about islam and for a lot longer. I will never apologize to anyone stupid enough to claim the title of muslim. Your murderous pedophile pretend prophet’s stupidity is only surpassed by today’s followers and professed members of his modern cult. (more…)

The Muzzie Blame Game

24 August, 2011

Robert Spencer penned an interesting piece over at Human Events which I thought you might like to read and comment on:

N.J. Murder the Latest Outrage in the Islamic Blame Game
by  Robert SpencerHuman Events

On Friday, a young Muslim man in New Jersey named Kashif Pervaiz was charged with the murder of his wife, Nazish Noorani, who was shot dead Tuesday night while pushing her 3-year-old son in a stroller on a street in Boonton, N.J.

Although the case apparently has nothing whatsoever to do with jihad terrorism, Islamic honor killing, or any such matter, it has been illuminating of the Islamic supremacist strategy to suppress free speech about Islam and jihad in the U.S. today.

Pervaiz, you see, was walking with Noorani when the shooting took place.  He had allegedly set up the whole thing with his accomplice mistress, a Boston woman with whom he apparently shares an apartment.  And according to the New York Post, Pervaiz initially told police that “three men, one black, one white and one of an uncertain race, called the couple terrorists before opening fire.”  That was enough for police to investigate the possibility that the shooting was an anti-Muslim hate crime—that is, until Pervaiz began changing his story, and began to emerge as a suspect.

Islamic supremacists never miss a chance to position Muslims as victims so as to deflect attention away from jihad terror and try to place Islam and the Muslim community beyond reasonable scrutiny.  And so even as Pervaiz was starting to equivocate and spin ever-taller tales, the blame game began.  I received a tweet from a certain Jawad Rasul, containing a link to one of the initial stories about the murder:  “If you have any humanity, you might ponder over this!”  Meanwhile, a well-placed source told me that Ibrahim Hooper of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was “salivating and waiting to jump all over” the Noorani murder story.  “They are waiting to blame you for everything.”

Explosion at Florida Mosque Under Investigation

11 May, 2010

Another work related accident, perhaps?:

Investigators at Islamic center after explosion
The Associated Press – Miami Herald

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Authorities are investigating an explosion at an Islamic center in Jacksonville to determine if it was a hate crime.

Fire spokesman Tom Francis says investigators will be at the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida Tuesday to collect evidence.

Witnesses said they heard a loud noise Monday as preparations were being made for the evening prayer. A fire caused minimal damage to the building. No one was injured.

Witnesses said they found a device at the scene, but Francis wouldn’t comment further.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued a statement saying an attack “on a house of worship should be of great concern to Americans of all faiths.” The group called for political and religious leaders to speak out against anti-Muslim sentiment.

UPDATE: Here’s an interesting little tidbit I found at News4JAX.com:

[…]

“Tom Francis, a spokesman for JFRD, said the explosion caused a small fire in the back of the building. Francis said the material that started the fire had no business being at the Islamic center, but would not elaborate on what was found.”

ACLU to Give Muzzies Free Lawyers When Questioned by Law Enforcement

2 April, 2010

Yup, this is all part of that special treatment Muzzies clamor for.

I have an idea; if you are ever picked up by the po-po and questioned, tell them you are Muslim and demand that they provide an ACLU lawyer for you.   If everyone who gets in trouble with Johnny-Law were to do this, the ACLU would wake up and stop this “free lawyer for every Muzzie” BS right away!

ACLU program will protect Muslims in FBI questioning
BY TIM TOWNSEND
ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH

Adil Imdad, 41, moved to the United States as a teenager from his native Pakistan in 1981. Five years later, he became an American citizen, and in 1995, he moved to St. Louis to pursue a master’s degree in environmental engineering at Washington University.

Imdad loves his adopted country. He also loves Islam, and his story embodies the reason the American Civil Liberties Union of Eastern Missouri is launching the Muslim Rights Project. The program, which ACLU officials say may be its first nationwide, will provide volunteer attorneys for Muslims questioned by law enforcement officers.

Imdad is a devout Muslim. He wears a long beard, in honor of Islam’s prophets.  His forehead is occasionally bruised from bowing to the floor in frequent prayer. He travels to Pakistan to see his family there, and to Saudi Arabia for the Muslim pilgrimage known as hajj. He’s a leader at the Bilal mosque on St. Louis University’s campus.

In 2002, Imdad says, agents from the FBI interviewed him for the first time at his job at TSi Engineering in St. Louis.   Since then, he has submitted to more than 20 FBI interviews, he said, some by phone and some in person. He keeps the business cards of each agent he has met in a laminated page in a three-ring binder. Each of their phone numbers is saved in his BlackBerry.

When Imdad was first approached by agents eight years ago, his motivation in talking to them was simple cooperation.

“I know the FBI is not my enemy,” Imdad said. “I have two daughters who I want to keep safe. The FBI is trying to do that, so I wanted to help. I wanted to help my country.”

But, Imdad said, over time, FBI agents became more aggressive in their questioning.

“You get a knock on your door at home, or they show up where you work, and you’re scared,” he said. “When you talk to them, they take advantage of that fear that’s already in you.”

Imdad said that during various interviews with FBI agents, he was locked in a room, repeatedly yelled at, asked what he was hiding and accused of lying.

Assistant Special Agent in Charge Maxwell Marker, of the FBI’s St. Louis division, said he could not talk about its relationship with specific Muslims in the area. But, he said, “the Muslim community, for us, is the same as any other community in the St. Louis area.”

“For us to know what’s going on, what issues are affecting them, what crime problems might exist, we have to talk to people,” Marker continued. “That’s how we get information so we can have a positive impact in the community.”
